Hi all,

I've just checked and if it happens this time I'd actually be due early July. Please feel free to join me on this bus:

wow, desperate times = desperate measures lou! I would be temping if I could guarentee that madam wouldn't wake me up in the middle of the night at random times! I'm such a control freak, it bothers me alot that I can't temp

WickedWitchSouthWest · 20/10/2009 11:34

/guarantee. Obviously

NorkyButNice · 20/10/2009 11:38

I'm not looking forward to entering the 2ww, so you have my sympathies ladies. Good luck with your weekend testing!

Loujalou · 20/10/2009 11:43

Also does anyone pay to join fertility friend or do people just use the free bit?

FanjolinaJolie · 20/10/2009 13:25

I have been using the free bit of Fertility Friend for five years and it is brilliant. Never needed to 'upgrade' and pay.

Loujalou it is better to start off on CD1 but you could start in your first week or later. You will need to enter in at least six days of temps before ovulation and three days after, though for FF to detect ovulation. What CD are you on?

I am obsessed with temping which is not a good thing sometimes. But I did get pg with DD1 using this method after 13 months so I do believe in it. Only took four months to conceive DD2.

FanjolinaJolie · 20/10/2009 13:26

I should add, used no method for six months, then started FF and Fertility Awareness Method and got pg seven months later.

Kaylo · 20/10/2009 17:19

Awww Liahgen I hope you're feeling better today - cannot believe she would offer your dd fags, thats totally irresponsible and you xh should do something about that.

Lou Good idea to join fertility friend - maybe if I don't get a bfp next week I'll join and see what it can tell me

WWSW at your symptom spotting and kncker checking. I'm not quite at that stage yet as 10 days to go til I can test but I'll totally be like that next week.

I tested this morning anyway, just because I knew it was cd29 and on a normal cycle it would have shown up but obviously it was a bfn. Didn't bother me though - just frustrated me that it isn't the 30th Oct yet.

I WANNA TEST NOW DAMMIT

floweringcurrant · 20/10/2009 17:55

evening all... another knicker checker here. Sorry if tmi ... just had watery, pink streaked CM. Am on day 27 of 29 day average cycle... too late to be an implantation bleed right?

WickedWitchSouthWest · 20/10/2009 17:56

Right, all bets are off this month! I obsessively carefully made a note of all my bonkers symptoms in July and August and at this exact point in those 2 cycles I was having cramps and lots of cm . Rubbish isn't it? I still think it will happen in December since that was the month I really wanted to avoid .

I'm annoyed now.

kaylo lol at you testing anyway!

WickedWitchSouthWest · 20/10/2009 18:03

floweringcurrant not too late at all! could be a good sign

latestincarnation · 20/10/2009 18:04

Don't test!! Hold out

I've had a negative today, really gutted, but it was early so will have to stay positive for now. Hopefully i'll have more luck in a couple of days. I've had tiredness and cramps, but under the weather with a cold, so no idea really.

I hate the way a negative makes you realise how much you were secretly wishing it was positive

WickedWitchSouthWest · 20/10/2009 18:23

me too latest I'm already sulking since those cramps have now turned into period pain totally fed up.

liahgen · 20/10/2009 18:52

Oh ladies, we're not having a good week are we?

#wwsw hugs to you, Maybe it won't be red tide,

teaI hope so too, we did a test yesterday and it was bfn, (thank god) but no period yet, she's normally few days before me so got few days before panicking yet.

Yes, xh's partner has such a bee in her bonnet about me and his 1st wife, god knows why, she's bloody welcome to him, We'd split up long before he met her. Silly cow.

Dh is 40 next week, I've bought him a signed football shirt, Hope he likes it.

I never bother with legs in air and all that, just go woth flow and hope for the best, have even stopped temping now too.

Actually does anyone want about 10 ebay opk's? First to ask can have.

kaylo step away from the tests. says me. Who's thanking god I only had a wee about an hour ago cos I feel sorely tempted at the moment.

latestincarnation · 20/10/2009 18:59

wwsw not you too! I'm in such a foul mood, but maybe I did test too early and it will work out?

Will just have to try and and think of something else for a while!!

Muser · 20/10/2009 19:00

Do we need some cake or something on this thread? Not a good day.

latestincarnation · 20/10/2009 19:11

I have no cake, but plenty of Ben and Jerry's ice cream - any one like some, ladies?

randomimposter · 20/10/2009 19:22

I did a test this morning although I have NO idea why.... I knew it would be a BFN. It was

I told myself that there was no point keeping just one, and that I would need to buy another twin pack for next month, so I might as well use it up. Some Irish logic there . I can say that, I'm half Irish , the good half.

Have had no pre-menstrual symptoms though....

I will take whatever ice cream is going. Am still in mourning that you can't seem to get G&B toffee ice cream anymore... [really upset in a the world's not worth living kinda way emoticon]

latestincarnation · 20/10/2009 19:26

jollster a huge scoop of B&J to you then!

There's more to go around - it was 241 at Sainsbury's and i WILL get fat if I keep it all to myself.

Its gutting isn't it Jollster. rollercoaster of TTC

WickedWitchSouthWest · 20/10/2009 19:32

Evening all

Still in a bit of a strop...I'm sorely tempted to have a glass of wine. I mean how bad can it be at this point? I'm sure someone has said that until the blastocyst is firmly implanted it takes no nutrition from the mother. I've just talked myself into it haven't it?

Thank you ladies...yes muser we do need cake. I was in such a strop earlier I couldn't even be arsed to bake.

lia fingers crossed re your dd. Eek. I'm holding out til Friday! According to that Dr Amy site that's the earliest a test would work! And I've got those ebay 10mlu tests hanging around begging to be used!!

jollster that's funny! that's what I did when i got my bfp with my dd. Found a test in the cupboard, realised hadn't had a period for a while so did it Sorry yours didn't have the right result tho.

randomimposter · 20/10/2009 20:14

if you'd have told me a couple of years ago that POAS would be so much fun obsessive of an emotional challenge, I'd have never believed you.

popping out to sainsburys with large freezer bag

Lifeistooshort · 20/10/2009 20:28

Hi ladies

Here I come with a round of alcohol free beer and a truckful of hugs (don't care if we don't do hugs on mn) as the thread isn't the most upbeat it has been is it?

Apologies for not login in much but am very busy at work. We should start the shagaton at the weekend so too early for me to symptom spots. It is nice to recover one's sanity for two weeks.

Lia so sorry you are having a hard time with you DD. I hope things improve and that you manage to get through to DH.

WickedWitchSouthWest · 20/10/2009 20:30

hey lifeistooshort welcome back! It's that rubbishy time of the month for a few of us where you justwanttoknow*!!!

NorkyButNice · 20/10/2009 21:04

I can't believe my (bad) luck - I slipped across the kitchen floor and strained a ligament in my knee this afternoon. Am strapped up and on crutches - can't lift my leg or put weight on it at all so sex this week is probably off the menu

Sob!

Muser · 20/10/2009 21:05

Well I for one am going to cross my fingers and toes for some July Bus graduates! Even though I think I won't be one of them. I have good feelings about this month!

And to keep me sane I am watching them fight on America's Next Top Model.

Lifeistooshort · 20/10/2009 21:16

oh I love ANTM it is my guilty pleasure, so silly but so impossible to stay away from.

Come on lady perk up.

We are bound to have some graduates on this threads and one of you will have to be the first one!! It will happen! It will happen! It will happen (altogether now "it will...")
