Hi all,

I've just checked and if it happens this time I'd actually be due early July. Please feel free to join me on this bus:

FanjolinaJolie · 17/10/2009 17:58

Well, I didn't have to take her in to AS so never got to be 'thrown' out. DH took DD's to M&S cafe for a coffee and cake while I scuttled in and out of AS in about five minutes flat. Got the blue 'dirty dolphin' as the rabbit cock ring is only available online now, not in-store.

I am sure I have seem women in AS pushing buggies around the store, though...perhaps babies in buggies don't count as children.

Still haven't got a +ve on the OPK but I am drinking loads of water to try and boost EWCM so then can't do the OPK as urine will be v diluted anyway. I know I will ovulate at some stage on Sunday or Monday so DH will have to oblige me tonight an tomorrow as well! Lucky him!

WickedWitchSouthWest · 17/10/2009 20:14

I've just remembered....I went into AS when dd was teeny in a pram . We didn't get thrown out!

Fanjolina I think we will need a product review of the dolphin..won't need details just a simple thumbs up or down

I'm having my usual late cycle doubt...did we do enough? (probably not) am I feeling the same as I always do at this point? (yes) followed by a good old sulk. Humph. 2ww SUCKS.

Kaylo · 17/10/2009 22:58

The AS in Doncaster must be really strict then cos dd was about 5 months old when we went it (or tried to) - the staff just said I had to leave or leave dd outside - obviously this made me so I stomped out vowing never to return!! I send dh now so he can 'surprise' me

Seems pretty quiet on here lately, for how many are on the list anyhow.

Can't believe I'm on cd26. It's gone so slow but yet I can't believe it 26days since I started to miscarry - seems like last week.
Have been using my cheapy pg tests to test each morning but so far they've all been bfn's. Hoping next week will bring happy news from a shy bean. Then again I guess it could even be week after.

Wheres the 'back to the future' doc when you need him? He could take all this waiting away.

xx

Mummy369 · 17/10/2009 23:31

Just an update, Mummy369 TTC#4 (DD2) cycle 4/5 UCL30 (but recently 25-27) CD8. Checking CM every day - twice! Had to remind myself about the CM changes!! Found website called BabyHopes.com - anyone heard of it? Seems informative on various aspects of ovulation/conception. Lots of tips re. pregnancy etc..
Just reminded hubby it's time to baby dance - told me he has to go in the loft to use the printer first!! How romantic

nymphadora · 18/10/2009 08:35

Still don't get the CM stuff it all seems egg whitey to me

Had hen day/ nigt yesterday quite restrained , which I was happy about! Have got a pair of flufy handcufffs though [ grin ]

floweringcurrant · 18/10/2009 11:04

How is everyone feeling?...
I don't get the CM stuff either... it all seems creamy to me!
Nor do I get the ovulation calculators...which tell me i will ovulate later than i think i probably do. Can anyone tell me (clinging on to hope as I am) if we dtd deed on CD12 and OPK was only + for one dayon CD13 was I on a fertile day?

NorkyButNice · 18/10/2009 13:02

DH and I are getting plenty of practice in in the run up to ovulating! Cycle 1 for us so not too worried about when is best to be having sex yet. I'm sure that will change if I'm still here in 3 months though!

Quick question for you all - I'm going on a girls' weekend away in a couple of weeks, and I'm not going to know if we've conceived or not. Are you all abstaining from alcohol completely whilst in the 2ww? If I don't drink at all they'll definitely know something's up and I don't really want it to be common knowledge that we are ttc.

Loujalou · 18/10/2009 14:58

Mmm... Norky I don't abstain in the 2ww. I think as long as you don't get too drunk then its not a problem. But then everyone is different. You might not be pregnant so don't want to regret not having a good time if its a weekend away.

I have been to AS with buggy and not been chucked out. Maybe its different rules for each one depending on the manager...

FanjolinaJolie · 18/10/2009 16:37

floweringcurrant I would say YES CD12 would be a fertile day as well if you got +ve on CD13.

The OPK's can be a bit hit and miss as I often don't get a +ve even though I know I have ovulated (as I temp and chart)

Hope you get your BFP this month.

Well, the dolphin got its first outing today and it was good but not as good as the AS rabbit cock ring which we had before. I wasn't entirely sure which way up it was supposed to go (ladies, enlighten me??) nose-up or tail up. It looks like it would be nose-up but it wasn't always 'hitting the spot' so to speak DH said it did nothing for him and was a bit off-putting but was happy to oblige me

The two week wait begins for me now.

I ovulated yesterday so will test around 30 October. Fingers crossed although only managed to dtd once during the fertile window as DH was away all week and only back Friday night, then too exhausted to do anything.

Good luck to everyone on the bus!

floweringcurrant · 18/10/2009 19:13

fanjolina - i know the feeling but once is all it takes! Fingers crossed x

Muser · 18/10/2009 19:34

Hello everyone! I'm back from my long weekend away. Spent it at weddings and with my gorgeous nephews who have made me even broodier.

Am also going insane as today especially and a little for the last 3 days I have been feeling really sick, but it goes away if I eat. I am only on CD13 or so so there's no way I can be pregnant yet. But I am driving myself crazy thinking maybe I am!

Friday/Saturday I could tell myself it was just the after-effects of wedding booze. But it's been even WORSE today and I didn't drink yesterday! Aaargh!

Hoping I'm not getting some kind of illness! Now someone come and tell me not to symptom spot when it's WAY TOO EARLY!

Pinkwine · 18/10/2009 19:34

Hi all,
Well, I am still waiting for AF and am now on CD40 of a Ucl27/28. My last POAS was last monday morning (6days late) and was BFN. Should I POAS again 2moro or Tues (will need to buy some new tests). Also, have only used Tesco own brand tests so far, should I invest in a CB?

Muser · 18/10/2009 19:47

Hi Pinkwine. POAS tomorrow! G'wan. I remember someone saying round here that Superdrug own brand are really sensitive so maybe try one of those? Fingers crossed!

nymphadora · 18/10/2009 20:18

Still waiting pinkwine must be a good sign! How on earth have you waited a week between tests though???

Pinkwine · 18/10/2009 21:16

Lol!! Thanks, will try superdrug
I have been trying to stay strong really and keep thinking that maybe AF is round the corner! Also with 3 BFN's!! (1 was day before AF due, 1 day after and 1 when 6 days late!! , just think they can't be that wrong... but here I am still waiting and sympton spotting like crazy!!

WickedWitchSouthWest · 18/10/2009 21:21

hi pinkwine oo sounds good! Hope that's a shy bfp you've got!

Loving us all getting the symptom spotting bug! I'm only 5dpo so trying to be rational...I'm pretty relaxed this month tho coz I know I've got my blooId tests tomorrow morning so this time next week I'll either be searching for a new miracle remedy or I'll be on metformin! I knda hope it's the latter coz then at least I'll be ovulating regularly which I'm obviously not doing on my own.

Anyone testing tmrw?

nymphadora · 18/10/2009 21:31

Good Luck Pink and WWSW!

I am now in countdown to Ovulation (5 days) and wedding (6 days). 1 1/2 days at work left. No idea what I'm doing now, head is exploding!

Kaylo · 18/10/2009 22:19

Hi Girls

After a bit of research on mumsnet I found out that the positive OPK I got on Friday was probably an accurate result due to my having a negative pg test result after mc.

So now I'm not gonna be testing until 30th Oct, which kind of sucks as was really looking forward to peeing on several sticks this week

But oh well. I'm sticking around here anyway cos if I do get a bfp I'll have absolutely zero idea when baby will be due. June/July?? I don't care as long as it's healthy!!

I hope you ladies are having/had good weekends!! Hoping for a quick couple off weeks now so I can test!!

Good luck for all testing in the next few days, bring some bfp's to the thread Start the ball rolling for the rest of us...

xxxx

WickedWitchSouthWest · 18/10/2009 23:05

Oh kaylo but at least you know you you've ovulated . Now you can join in with some lovely symptom spotting with the rest of us at the front of the bus!

I'm drinking horlicks. Does that mean I'm pg?!

EmNotPGYet · 18/10/2009 23:05

Hello all! Surely bluesnowfalcon was a July graduate? Or did she turn out to have a June due date after all?

I see I'm on CD8 already, that's good! Last month properly dragged. I've spent all weekend with my friends' 5 month old little girl which has made me realise how much hard work babies are... but I still want one!

skihorse · 19/10/2009 09:45

em She must've been June because she got her BFP before I got my BFN and my EDD was 22/06.

NorkyButNice · 19/10/2009 10:32

I seem to be the person who's posting all the TMI questions on this thread!

Can anyone enlighten me as to how CM changes over the course of the menstrual cycle?

I'm on CD11, and things have got a bit "damp" and slippery down below (I nearly used the word moist there but managed to restrain myself!). Does this mean I'm ovulating already?
