Hi all,

I've just checked and if it happens this time I'd actually be due early July. Please feel free to join me on this bus:

aideesmum TTC#2 UCL 30-34 CD2

OP posts:
Kaylo · 12/10/2009 21:23

UCL is 9 days but had a mc 3 weeks ago, started bleeding 21st Sept, scan confirmed mc 25th Sept.

So have no idea what my cycle length is going to be this month - the only thing I have to go on really is that when I had a scan there was no evidence that I'd even been pregnant!! So obviously everything was back to normal by then.

Aaaaagh - I have no idea!!

liahgen · 12/10/2009 21:24

ucl is 9 days???

Do you mean 29?

Have you a test in the house?

Kaylo · 12/10/2009 21:28

ooops, yes I meant 29days

I have about a million tests in the house

Told myself I'm not testing til 20th Oct at the earliest, 2nd Nov if I can hold out that long...

liahgen · 12/10/2009 21:31

OMG 20th October.. I admire your restraint.

Good luck though

On the other hand, perhaps af is on the way,

Me? I'd be p(ing)os's faster than you can poas.

Kaylo · 12/10/2009 21:36

LOL - are you poas addict liahgen??

I figured if I wait that long then on a normal cycle thats when AF would be due...2nd Nov would take me 6 weeks past mc, so I dunno - I think I'll hold out for a little while longer...

liahgen · 12/10/2009 21:40

good for you, yep I am a complete addict. Not this month though.

this month i shall have restraint

Kaylo · 12/10/2009 21:41

we'll see lol

You have my sympathy nymphadora, we have a lady in our office that is middle aged and desperate for one of us younger ladies to have a baby, she asks everyone if they are pregnant if you wee alot/feel sick/are slightly bloated/have a headache.... in fact she is better at making up pg symptoms than any MNer during the 2ww!! It's both and lol!

CD12 here and haven't BD'd yet, really don't feel like it , I tend to OV CD15 and no signs yet but think we have to get our act together for the next few days... does anyone else get like this?

By the way, pmsl at calling myself a 'younger lady' in the first bit of this post! Young is stretching it but lady?!?!?!?

WickedWitchSouthWest · 13/10/2009 21:57

evenin all

I'm back! And the stats seem to have survived

huge congrats mrsr! Our first grad!

Welcome all the million newbies

Only news I have is that we've been at it all weekend and the bogof fr opks came in handy - got a positive on Saturday night (cd16) and we've even managed morning sex (which is apparently better for ttc) so at least we've given it a good go! Going to keep the shagging up for a few more days then go back to the just for fun

teafan ditto...thing is, I actually do like sex but it's the pressure of having to do it whether you want to or not!

kaylo please come online and reassure us that you are still alive....

blues you still seem to be on CD2 on this list, although I know you are not sure whether AF really did come to visit. That's why I have put CD2? Please fix it if you would prefer to still be at the top of the list!!!

lucybrad · 14/10/2009 09:31

Morning all,

started temp charting this morning for the first time. Have a ridiculasly technical chart out of the back of a book someone lent me. Day 2 of my first AF for three odd years, and god..... i'd forgotton just how horrid she can be. Hopefully we shall be able to slay her this cycle and loads of us will be able to graduate!

Kaylo · 14/10/2009 09:46

Hey all!

Just letting you know I am very much alive I have no idea what the stabbing pains were but they've gone now - I was a bit ill yesterday with a sickness bug (hubby convinced it was morning sickness, but clearly it wasn't). Feel so much better today - I did go into work yesterday, only for them to ask me "are you ill? Shouldn't you be at home?" If I had phoned in sick they would have just said "couldn't you have made the effort to come in?"

Ah well.

I have a very odd taste in my mouth today [hopeful emoticon], tummy still feels unsettled but no more sick [bleurgh] sooooo, no sign of AF and cd23 today - 6 days to go til I test. Maybe. Oooh, do I wait til Nov or just test next Tuesday? I don't know

I hope everyone is happy and hopeful

Kaylo · 14/10/2009 09:46

oh and welcome to all July bus newbies

xxxxx

FactsAndFigures · 14/10/2009 12:05

Glad to hear that you're still with us Kaylo and sorry to hear you've been unwell, there's sooooo much going around at the moment

Sorry to hear AF got you lucybrad fingers crossed for a BFP for you this month.

Welcome back WWSW glad you got a positive on your FR OPK, interesting reading about morning sex helping TTC, I hadn't heard of that before - DH will be getting a nice surprise tomorrow morning LOL

This TTC lark is still has confusing as ever in the FandF household ....... Yesterday, the faint Test line on my FR OPK became a bit stronger, but still not as strong as the Refernce line, so thought today it was going to reach it's 'peak' but it didn't, I've now gone back to a very pale test line and now today I'm having AF type tummy cramps, I'm on CD14 and they're central and not just on 1 side, so I don't think that it's Ovulation cramps, any ideas on what it can be - answers on a postcard please

I also messed up in Boots on the FR BOGOF offer and bought a 5 pack OPK and a 2 pack of PG Tests, when I got home I realised the OPK contained a free PG test, do you think Boots would exchange the PG tests for another OPK pack? And would you be embarrassed going into Boots and asking for this exchange?

WickedWitchSouthWest · 14/10/2009 13:40

Hi FandF morning sex is supposed to be good coz the swimmers are more active in the mornings...I'll try and find the article and post it later!

As for your confusing month, I've had a couple of months like this and wasn't sure if I was doing the opk's wrong or if I wasn't ovulating. I know I didn't ov last month as I only had a faint line on one day and the next it had gone completely. So I'm really sorry but I don't know! Do you use any other method to pinpoint ov? I check cm too and had no ewcm last month, but had it in abundance this time! Might be worth having a back up to the opk's too?

lol at your exchange! I don't see why they can't exchange it as long as it's all in the cellophane wrapper still. Good luck with that one!

WickedWitchSouthWest · 14/10/2009 13:52

found it....didn't take too long

Fact: The calendar also matters to men. Sperm counts are higher in the winter and lower in the summer. This may be because cooler temperatures are associated with increased sperm production. Sperm counts are also higher in the morning than at other times of day. However, experts aren't sure that time of day or time of year makes a notable difference in fertility.

This is the full article here

Hi everyone, I'm on TTC2nd, UCL 28ish, CD18

First month of trying after ds born, - on the scary 2ww now and no idea how things have gone. I conceived first month but mc, and first month with ds, but currently petrified of starting it all over! Did ok on BDing, but huge fingers crossed for everyone here.

Gah I need distracting from testing!
