Well, valuer has been and he seemed very confident that we will sell the apartment and for a decent amount too. He works for a big estate agents in Sheffield, in their city centre living department - which is actually situated in our apartment complex. He has sold two in the last week. So, fingers crossed. Also, if for any reason it doesn't sell, he has people wanting to rent ready and waiting. They are really short in supply at the moment, but have n=big demand for our complex. Could rent it within the week if need be, Goign to give it a couple of months to sell fuirst I think. Still no owrd from our buyer though. Grrr! Definitely need to sort the house stuff out - feel like I will not get pg with it all going on, and the related stress.

angedemarche · 10/06/2005 13:55

so when is your most fertile time? does depend on the length of your cycle?

omg Lunarsea, that is very low!!!
have you got an appointment now?

spacecadet · 10/06/2005 14:01

normally around the14th day in a28 day cycle but you could get some opk's and then you will know when you are ovulating.

angedemarche · 10/06/2005 14:05

hulababy,
im not sure what your house story is but it sounds that you are getting let down badly by that 'buyer'.
I have been in a similar situation recently in buying a house because we felt that we were just being lied to all the time.
It got to the stage that we just signed for a new build (on Tuesday) so that we don't have to deal to anyone but the builders. It isn't the house we wanted but it is less stressful.
I hope things pick up for you. XxX

angedemarche · 10/06/2005 14:07

you are taking the mick now with these acronyms SC!!
I feel v stupid asking but what are opk's???

Hulababy · 10/06/2005 14:24

angedemarche - nightmare isn't it. We have lost 3 houres as a reault of him. One of those was new build too. TBH we love new build. Seen a lovely 4 storey, 4 bed town house in fab area which would be great. Ready from end of June onwards. Would love one - hope we can sell in time!

munz · 10/06/2005 14:26

Hulababy · 10/06/2005 14:27

munz · 10/06/2005 14:28

do u fancy having an idey on the beach with me later? I have choc flavour? sandy beach - tides out and it's got a blue flag!

angedemarche · 10/06/2005 14:30

oh i really hope it works out for you. It is true when they say one of the most stressful things you can do is move home. I expected it to be fun, well kirsty and phil seem to have fun in location x3! But, it isn't, it really is horrible.

People just aren't honest and I am so naive that I believe what I'm told, doh!
I have to say that now we have signed for the house I'm quite excited about it.
If I was more clever, I would link you to a picture of it.

Hulababy · 10/06/2005 14:31

Hmmm....sounds fab

Yeah, and reminds me I only have 10 days till I go on holiday

So - do you (or anyone else too) have any weekend plans? Anyome chatting; need cheering up after the house stuff earler (and spending all morning cleaning th apartment top to bottom so it looks good on the photos!).

Tomorrow I am having my eye brows waxed at 9am , then taking DD to a birthday pary between 2-pm, and then we all have a wedding reception party to go to in the evening. No plans for Sunday yet.

Hulababy · 10/06/2005 14:35

This is the one I want - the 4 bed townhouse called Gladstone (says 5 bed, but bed 5 is really the garden room).

angedemarche · 10/06/2005 14:39

swanky!!! I really hope this works out for you. Less stress is better for getting pg, yes?

have a look at this \link{http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y260/mrsjangus/ourhoose.jpg}

angedemarche · 10/06/2005 14:39

Hulababy · 10/06/2005 14:40

Wow! That looks great. Very big!!! Hope everything goes well with it - when is completion?

angedemarche · 10/06/2005 14:40

this

Hulababy · 10/06/2005 14:41

For your link - after the .jpg and before the } put \My house It'll then do a link, with the words My House for you to click on.

LunarSea · 10/06/2005 14:41

Um weekend - probably take ds to the local farm park or the castle (we have season tickets for both), and hope he's not feeling so energetic tht he runs off, as I don't have the energy back for running yet Other than that probably finishing off his new bedroom (95% done and we've already moved him into it), and sorting out his summer clothes to see what still fits from last year. If there's any time left after that lot, sending him out on his bike with dh so I get an hour or so to just do nothing.

At the moment I'm totally drained by the end of each day, and not totally with it during the day either (hence can't concentrate on work and keep slipping into mumsnetting instead - oops!). I think I might have to ask if I can take some holiday half a day per day over the next couple of weeks, as I'm struggling to cope with full time.

Hulababy · 10/06/2005 14:41

You beat me to it!

Hulababy · 10/06/2005 14:42

The holiday idea sounds like a good idea Lunarsea. You need to take it easy a bit.

munz · 10/06/2005 14:42

yours looks lovely hula - hope it works out this time!

no plans, DH is on nights till next tues so will ahve to be like a mouse, mainly just resting and chilling out on the beach, where r u going on holiday?

Hulababy · 10/06/2005 14:45

Make sure you enjoy the time to yourself then - lots of chocolate!!!

Holiday:
Fly to Nice, pick up car, 7 nigts at a VacanSoliel camp site (not tents though!) for 7 nights, driving to Grenpble for 2 nights, then to a chateau near Dijon for one night, finishing with 4 nights staying at Davy Crockets at Disney. Then flying home from Paris. Can't wait!

angedemarche · 10/06/2005 14:47

yeah!! my first link!

that's just the artists impression they always make them look a wee bit bigger I think.

havealook

We have kinda hijacked this thread, but it is all related (stress etc.)
Really hope you get your dream house.
XxX

Hulababy · 10/06/2005 14:48

House looks great; plans look good sizes. And that is an excellent price! Do you have one of the plots with gararge etc? If so, what is a beam vacuum system???

angedemarche · 10/06/2005 14:49

Lunar, it sounds like a holiday or at least a break would do you good. I hope you are able to get the half days at work, you need to really look after yourself.
XxX
