No - not at all surprised you are at work!!! Please try to leave as early as you can handle!!

Many things really can wait 'til tomorrow... or even (shock horror) 'til Monday.

Take it easy even though you are at work, and be kind to yourself

chocolatedays · 08/10/2009 12:50

Gilly - I feel I need to spell it out! The reason I'm saying to leave early is because I think the second test could be correct - though with low hcg levels - so I'm trying to encourage you to rest to help the levels increase. (it's not that I'm a bully - well, not just a bully)

I'm really struggling to get dd to sleep properly at night (finally she slept for 11 hours solid last night) and you going through this helps remind me of how grateful I am and what we had to go through to get here. You are helping me - by me helping you.

Gilly, Have been thinking about you today and still am. Sorry about the uncertainty although there is still hope which is a good thing. Hang in there... take it easy when/if you can. Still crossing tightly.

Hi gilly, been checking in but had problems with my phone connection and have no Internet connection at home.. Bloody typical!
Sorry about the uncertainty I'm sooooooo praying for you. I did a test at the doctors and it was very unclear but did a test where it tells you if u are or not and that came up. I think the ones they use are not very senstive, probably due to cost!
Praying 4 u and want to tell you how great your coping with this all!!! Defo throw a sicki tomorrow! Either way u need a day off to digest everything and take some time for yourself! Obviously we have different work ethics too!! Lol lots of love xxxxx

rattling · 08/10/2009 21:40

Gilly - not sure you remember me. I can't even remember which thread I know you from (TTC #1? temping thread? both??), but I am joining in with the swell of good wishes for your result tomorrow. xx

RahRah1 · 08/10/2009 21:59

Gosh gilly I can hardly contain myself from popping on a train and holding your hand tomorrow... Please god play fair and make it a line tomorrow with hcg to match!!! Mine was also a very thin line and that thin line is a very porky Daisy

Morning Gilly, Dealing with a little sleep deprivation is nothing compared to long term ttc!! DD is 15mnths and (most of the time) a giggly delight.

Though HH can be hard work on the phone I have found they are better face to face - so hope there is no fight this morning to get the bloods done.

Can you rest today? You don't have to do a complete sickie - you can be available on the end of the phone if that helps you relax??

I'm not in much today - but will check on here for you as often as I can.

Like RahRah said (hi Rah!! - in fact hi everyone else!!!) I'm now popping on a virtual train and holding your hand through this (hope you living room is not too crowded!)
Cxx

Thinking of you this morning. As you know my HCG levels were very low to start with but what matters is that they double (every 48 hours or so I think). My DH was a bit like yours - bless him. I remember telling him there was no such thing as a false positive, no matter how faint the line (one thing I'd learnt here!) I think he didn't dare believe it until I'd taken more tests & the line gradually became stronger.

Wheelybug · 09/10/2009 09:39

Thinking of you still this mornng. Hope the results come quickly for you
