Hi Ready - did you? I missed that, sorry. (prob too sleep deprived ). It is kinda getting better - she's slept through once and 7 hrs solid 3 nights in the last week - now it is just the wide awake for 2-3hrs in the wee hours we're trying to crack. Wouldn't swap it for the world tho! How are you doing?

Still thinking of you Gilly!

Gilly... hang in there... please. I know what you are saying about knowing your body, but this is a different kettle of fish, so you don't actually know how your body should respond to this situation. So please try to stop thinking the worst (although I understand that defence mechanism all too well). You are totally in my thoughts. So hopeful that your levels have risen tomorrow.
Look after yourself and try to sleep!

Choc, I am good, littleReady went 8 hours last night!! I panicked a bit when I looked at the clock. Day sleeps are not going well, but she's still learning. Her weight gain has not been slower than expected, and the HV are slightly concerned - as are we, so may have to stop BF or supplement to get her bulking up - but weigh in on Tues to see what they say.
Well done on the sleeping through! It's all about progression in my book. Baby steps.

Gilly - as Ready says - hang in there. My symptoms came and went and came back again. You can't judge by last time - as I've heard eachh time can be very different. Keep resting and let's wait and see (it's never simple is it!)

Ready - lovely to chat! guess lil one is 3months? You'll have to up your cake intake (that excuse works for me) to increase the calories of your milk! Seriously - is she falling off her red book curve? Trust your own instincts too. Mix feeding has been fine for several mum's I know.

Gilly - glad you found a sympathetic doctor. Good luck for tomorrow. Will be thinking of you.

As for early preg symptoms - I have felt v. different in all 3 of mine and the one I had the most early symptoms was the one I lost.

Hi Kensgirl - I remember you ! Hope all is well.

Thinking of you. xxxxxxx

Choc, she has gone from the 50th centile to the 25th in 5 weeks... so not off the charts, but they said it could be a warning. We'll see.

Wheelybug · 12/10/2009 11:36

Thinkg of you today ! Hope the news comes fast and is good news.

PiggyPenguin · 12/10/2009 12:24

I'm just going to loiter until we get good news Gilly

Ready, I wouldn't worry too much about the weight though, unless they are actually losing weight. I think hv really too much on the 'lines' on the chart and forget to use their eyes. If she is happy and responsive I can't see there being much wrong. J fell two percentiles and has been fairly static since then, sometimes they need to drop to find their right size iyswim!

So sorry Gilly. I hope we weren't keeping your hopes too high - you have seemed very level headed and stoic about it all although am sure you are feeling a whole range of emotions. I hope you have someone/somewhere to let these out.

Please take care of yourself as best you can. I hope your review appointment comes round quickly and you can book FET.

In the meantime, I will still be thinking about you, and hope to see you on here when/if you feel able, and wish you lots more strength for the coming months.

Good luck !

chocolatedays · 12/10/2009 20:03

So sorry Gilly - I'm sure you will feel exhausted after all this uncertainty. You are still in our thoughts.

hobnobs · 12/10/2009 20:16

So very sorry Life is so very unfair at times like this.

Hope you don't have to wait too long for the review appointment and that the weeks fly by until you can do the FET. I'm sure that (if it's helpful), we'll all be here rooting for you.

nomoremagnolia · 12/10/2009 21:13

So for you. Don't know what else to say, it seems so unfair
Take things easy and look after yourself x

RahRah1 · 12/10/2009 21:15

Hi gilly, so very sorry (((hugs))) life sucks! But u seem to have a very positive outlook. I hope Fet happens really quickly 4 u. Just a thought but it might be worth discussing aspirin and steriod use. A lot of nhs clinics do not advocate steriods as it's not been clinically proven but they r widely used in the USA and private. They stuck me on all of it and it worked. It may not of been the drugs but it must of helped. I think the steriods r helpful for killer cells etc and aspirin for implantation and establishing the placenta...

All here 4 u and 4 normore... (hi nomore hope u r well)

Sending lots of love and that big glass of red u wanted and some chocolates too! Xxxx
