Oooh Curly that's great.

As they say around here, a line is a line is a line. Even a faint one.

zippys · 11/11/2009 08:20

CONGRATULATIONS Curly a line is a line -are you going out to buy a Digital one? I am so happy for you. Maybe this is going to be the month of lots of BFP's especially with the amount of people testing.

Wanted to say a quick hello to all the newbies, I havent time this morming to chat to everyone but wanted to let you know I am thinking of all and how frustrating this is.

Need to some advice from you wise people. I have had funny cyles as you all know so 34, 34,39 and then 28 days for the last few. I am on cycle day 22 and have felt sick yesterday (on and off -stops when I eat) and again this morning, retching when cleaning my teeth etc.

  1. Is it too early to be showing symptoms?
  2. should I test just to be sure?
  3. I am just being stupid as if I am back to long cycle I only ovulated yesterday!!!!

AAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH

Anyway.......

Yay, congratulations Curlycasper!! Looks like this month is going to be a lucky month, hopefully we'll have loads of BFPs popping up all over the place. Are you going to wander over to join the July Ante-natal topic?

I first tested on CD24 Zippys with FMU, using a FR test, and got a strong BFP. So I guess there would be a chance on CD22 with a FR and FMU, though I'm sure it differs from person to person. Maybe try and hold out until Saturday though, just to improve the chances? Saturday's not far, just another 72 hours away.

zippys · 11/11/2009 08:50

Thanks Spirael I think I will leave till Saturday as deep down I am sure that its too early and once you start poas you cant stop!!

CJ2007 · 11/11/2009 09:12

Aw curly that's wonderful news!!! Hoping for many more!!!! Xxx

CurlyCasper · 11/11/2009 09:17

Thanks all. DH is off out now to buy a digi. Hope I haven't used up today's quota of HCG!

pixiestix · 11/11/2009 09:19

Yay curly !!!!
I'm really pleased for you.

Hopefully this is the start of fulhams prediction and we'll all be falling en masse this month!

CurlyCasper · 11/11/2009 09:26

zippys I would hold off. I had mad cycles that were 28 days last two months. was due today and got my very faint result. Hold off if you can. Are you temping at all? Cause you could watch to see if you stay high then test day 27/28. Remember, some women don't get a BFP till AF is a week or more late, so the longer you can hang on the better. I hope you're sickness is the "good" type [smile}

kkas · 11/11/2009 09:57

congrats curly!!! so happy for you

zippys · 11/11/2009 10:16

No I havent been temping Curly but if this is not the month I plan to either next month or the montb after. I feel a lot better now (never thought that would be a bad thing!) so I think I will hold off till weekend after next when AF most likely to come!!

CurlyCasper · 11/11/2009 10:42

Thanks lovely frolickers! CBD confirmed 1-2 weeks.

claireinthecommunity · 11/11/2009 10:51

Wonderful news Curly - congratulations

CJ2007 · 11/11/2009 12:11

So envious but equally thrilled for you curly! You've been so supportive of everyone on here. It's nice to see you get that BFP!!!! Xxx

ImmaterialGirl · 11/11/2009 12:21

Congratulations Curly that is wonderful! I'm really happy for you.

I hope you'll stick around and update us on how things are going with you!!

WhiteRoses · 11/11/2009 12:39

Yay Curly!!! Excellent news! Congratulations! I'm so happy for you! What a lovely way to start the day! And have you had no symptoms other than a bit of a sore belly? Here's hoping it stays that way if so!

Now it's good luck to Sevans, Addie and Emsie! Keeping fingers crossed for all of you! So far so good anyway, with no sign of AF! And Aly, too. You'll be testing soon? What about Chalky? She's the one who directed me over to this thread from another... Anyone have any idea how she's getting on? Immat, Ozzie and Vix will be starting soon as well! Funny how so many of you seem to be in sync with each other! I'm a bit of a loner, I think, away down near the bottom!

Zippys - I can see why you really should wait but if you manage it, you're a better woman than me! I'd defintely be driving myself mad with the First Responses by now if I was you! Still, good luck either way!

My main news today is that I think ovulation is imminent... Unless I'm imagining things! But I had cramps all day yesterday and some discharge, although not quite EWCM (TMI, sorry!) So I'm guessing it'll happen soon, which would put me on quite a normal cycle (about 28 days) this month Luckily, we BD'd on Saturday and Sunday, missed Monday () and managed last night, so that's all pretty good. Though we were just as good last month and obviously no luck...

CurlyCasper · 11/11/2009 13:07

Thanks so much all. You're all so lovely, I couldn't leave!

Actually white I'm covered in a nasty, itchy, painful, rash. Had it for a week and didn't think it could be related - until now. (a bit of googling - could be hormone levels in blood). Seeing GP this avo to check it's not a dangerous rash. Finger crossed!

blueberrynoo · 11/11/2009 13:24

And congrats to Curly!!

sevans · 11/11/2009 14:37

YAY CURLY!!!!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! That is such wonderful news!!! I am soooooo happy for you! Wow, two BFPs for us this month and we are just in the second week! Here is hoping for many more!!!

CurlyCasper · 11/11/2009 15:55

more thanks! well, I have a bog standard skin infection. so anti-hists and anti-bs and all should be ok...

sevans · 11/11/2009 16:02

Any news addie, emsie, aly? I couldn't bring myself to test again today. I am going to try and hold out until Friday as planned if no AF. I checked my test from yesterday morning when I got home in the evening and there is a line on the positive side. I know you are supposed to disregard tests after 10-15 minutes (and this was hours later) but it was nice to see a positive test even though it isn't accurate. My test from Saturday never showed a line afterwards. Strange. Oh well!

Good luck to all
