Scan today, mc confirmed. Nothing at all in my womb so thats that. I'm ok about it - I've shed my tears today and that is it, will be back on TTC wagon in about 4 weeks and hopefully back on ante-natal a short time after that

Trying to stay positive - no point getting down really. It's one of those things and diddly squat I (or anybody) can do. I'm not even jealous of pregnant people funnily enough - I thought I would be but going through mc has opened my eyes - I now realise that I have no idea what their story is, for all I know they might have had 10 mc's before finally getting pg.

So I'm looking on the bright side.

Sorry I don't have better news girls

xx

oh Kaylo so sorry for your loss. Your attitude is great and so positive, well done
.Just finishing critical ttc days for me so will start symptom spotting AGAIN in a week or so.

Oh kaylo I'm so sorry. Glad you are handling things so well. Remember we are are still here to hand-hold if you need us. Take care x

Joolsiam · 26/09/2009 12:16

Really sorry Kaylo Don't feel you have to put a brave face on all the time - your hormones will be crashing and your mood will be all over the place - let it out - cry, wail, eat chocolate, drink wine and don't let it fester - I've been there 3 times, so know how it feels ....

When I mc'ed at 6 weeks, AF returned within about 30 days from the first bleed, so not too far of schedule ..

CD12 here, so a busy weekend

Kaylo · 26/09/2009 13:32

oooh, 30 days....now that an encouraging thought

I'm stocking up on ovulation test sticks as me and dh are wanting to take full advantage of the fertility boost that follows a mc.

3 times jools thats horrific!! Hope you catch on soon!!

In fact I hope we all do

And I really do feel fine. At the moment. Feel as if I've been spectating on someone else's life for the past week.

DD had a sponsored dance to do today and I'm so proud of her!! She danced for a whole hour with just a 10 minute break. Bless her little cotton socks
DS is just a monster Don't know where he gets that from!!

Be a bit wary of the ov sticks - apparently they can be pretty unreliable during the first post mc cycle ...

Kaylo · 26/09/2009 15:04

Thanks for that Jools

Maybe we should just babydance everynight?
Well, I might leave it for a week - then dh better watch out

mousemole · 28/09/2009 15:12

how is everyone doing ? Cd16 for me - the weekend was the key time so too early for any symptoms yet !

Hi mouse

I'm ok - just hanging around waiting for mc bleed to stop.
Then it's all systems go...

How are you?

mousemole · 29/09/2009 08:16

Hi Kaylo, how are you feeling ? Still positive ? Nothing to report from me and I dont feel positive at all about this month. If no joy this month I am going to have a couple of months off ttc as it is all driving me a bit mad !

OP posts:
Joolsiam · 29/09/2009 08:33

Well no 2WW for me DP wouldn't or couldn't co-operate at the right times. I'm ovulating right now (ouch) and away on business tonight.

On the upside, I feel a degree of relief that I'll not be symptom spotting and knicker checking for a few weeks, and more relief that I won't be in the MC danger zone on my birthday and anniversary of my worst MC.

Still not sure if this is ever going to work for us, but am quite philosophical at the moment.

Good luck to everyone symptom spotting - I'll drop in to keep an eye on you

needahand · 29/09/2009 09:40

Oh Kaylo so sorry to hear you are having a mc!

By the way can I join? DH and I decided to TTC last Thursday and I am pretty sure I have missed the bus for this month. Regarless I am already completely obsessive . Yesterday evening I had really really bad cramps similar to the ones I get when my period is due. So bad I had to take paracetamol. My period is not due for at least another week. This morning I have a dull ache instead of cramps but it is still there. Am I already going mad?

mousemole · 29/09/2009 11:39

hey Jools - enjoy your 'month off'. Like you said it will be great to know you cant mc at the anniversary time. Let us know what it's like having a month off - seriously considering it next month. Do drop in and see how we are getting on. What's the betting I'll still be here !
welcome on board needahand ! Cramping sounds good so far away from Af time. Nothing from me - jsut shattered but had quite a big weekend so that's probably why. Gave up drinking this month- day 17 and bloomin hard.

Hi All

Back from hols last night and itching to get back on.

Kaylo sorry to hear your news. I know how you feel, I lost my first at 12 weeks and was upset but positive about it. You just have to move on don't you. Sending lots of positive vibes your way.

Well I could do with a bit of advice if you don't mind ladies. I was expecting to have news either way for you by this time and have had various positive symptoms including what i thought might be an implantation bleed, lots of EWCM, a feeling in my boobs like letting down milk and going a bit ditsy iykwim. Even DH was convinced. I have done 3 HPTs and still nothing and am now on CD50.

DH wants me to see Doc next week but I'm not sure what they'll say, do I go or not.

Mousemole I have hypothyroidism, started after birth of dd. Just had another blood test taken as I was suffering hair loss and weight gain again. I take calcium supps as I don't eat dairy and apparently this can lower absorbtion which may be the cause. My gp was very understanding and concerned that it is monitored whilst ttc and pg which was reassuring as I've heard of gps who aren't bothered.

Kaylo · 05/10/2009 20:27

Hey Snowbunny* I hear a congratulations are in order?
WooHoo...... CONGRATULATIONS!
