Anyone starting their 2 week wait today ish and want to obsessive symptom spot ?

Month 3 of ttc and hoping it will be my lucky month . Day 14 today and am ovulating so lots of bd'ing. Now the dreaded 2 week wait ! Anyone else got similar timings ?

thats 3 of us due AF on 14/15th Sept then.
Here's hoping for a BFP for us all

Im due on the 9th (next wed).
We are off on holiday the 14th for a week so at least I will know either way... Ie drown my sorrows with a drinky or two in the evening!

DD has just had a "nap" for 3hours!! and im to say I fell asleep too for about an hour! Tiredness- A sign??

Is laziness a sign? - Ive been so lazy the past few days the house looks like a tip! We eneded up with a takeaway fri as i couldnt be bothered to cook and sat DH made the dinner! No chance tonight as hes out playing badminton tonight so its just me and DD.- Wondering how little I can get away with! lol

Hi Everyone - I'm new to mumsnet!

It's good to know that I'm not the only one symptom spotting! I've got back ache, slight sickness and heightened sense of smell! But it will probably all be in my head! We've been TTC for two months now - our DC1 was concieved on first attempt so we were a little disappointed when it didn't happen first time ! Best laid plans and all that! I haven't imagined back ache before and has this when I discovered I was expecting DC1 Anyone else suffering from back ache?

Mouse and Jools - the worst thing about 14 Sep is that there are two more weekends between now and then, that gives me so much time to think about it all.

Ive got backache at the mo.. at the small of my back. But then I used to suffer with a bad back alot untill I had DD when it magically stopped!?!

How old is your DS? We fell after 3mths with DD so kinda hoping for a repeat of that. Only on Cycle 1 so far.`

I have to confess to having a lot of naps even when not ttc so not sure I will notice the difference .
30ish - your heightened sense of smell seems a positive sign - that's one imaginary sympton I cant conjure up. Am an expert at imagining dizziness, nausea, twinges, bigger nipples and tender boobs !

The nausea in 2WW is a pain. Didn't like taste of Ribena earlier and usually love it. Also nice cake turned my tummy. Was better last month. The only thing is it raises your hopes...

Oh well should get first af sign Saturday and its due on Monday, so nearly there.

Mousemole someone needs to get a BFP on your thread this month, last month just didn't work.

Loujalou - there has got to be ONE BFP hasn't there ! I don't mind who it is, just as long as one of us has some luck with this bloomin babymaking lark !
ps - have had afternoon headaches last 3 days - symptom or stress !!

lissielou, I feel bad for moaning now, 3 years for me and on Clomid 150, headaches, v bad. Not due AF til weekend so not testing as will just be gutted AGAIN!

Hi, I've missed a fair bit here then. I'm on CD 19 and cycles not settled post pill. last was 29 one before was 34. so I'm going to test around the 11th I think. peeing loads today. hungry ( or is that greedy?) and twinges in left breast. Probably all in my head though.

Curly you sound as though you're in a similar situation to me. I'm on CD 18 and cycle 2. I had a mirena fitted after dd1 and 1st cycle after removal was about 38days. Not sure what I will be this cycle as I was on the pill for years and came of to have DD1, had mc at 12 weeks after 1st time of trying before was succesful. I've never really had a proper cycle iykwim.

I've also been peeing loads but also did that last cycle as well after ov.

DH is away for the week so can happily obsess in peace - although dh does want dc2, he doesn't get very emotional about it and would freak if he knew what a freak I am

Any way, it's nice to have you guys to chat to and not be judged

The madness is starting already, on 1 DPO I thought I was doing quite well at making myself ignore everything as it is too early but then (sorry, far too much TMI coming up ...)

I noticed loads and loads of white lotiony cm - now that is definitely not normal for me at this stage of my cycle I also feel as if I'm getting thrush, which is always my very first PG sign.

Off to find a bucket of sand into which to insert my head for a few days

How does the implantation bleed thing work? I've just nipped to the loo before heading to bed and have (sorry if this is TMI ) a very small amount of pinky brown blood?!?!?!

Now if I ovulated on CD14 just for arguments sake and had sex on days 14,16 & 17 would it be possible to have an implantation bleed today, so soon after possible fertilisation?

Somebody please help me, I was relatively calm and resigned to not testing until 4 or 5 days late, should it come to it, but I can feel the histeria building already [insert psycho emoticon]

Hi Snowbunny - if you conceived on day 14 and today is day 19 then yes, I think it could be a bit of implantation bleeding. I would certainly view it as a good sign. OOHHHHH exciting !

Joolsiam - I remember you saying before that thrusg was one of your first signs - fingers crossed !
I have some nausea this morning and had terrible wind last night ! ( sorry TMI) !!
I can't take nausea seriously though as have convinced myself so many times before that I have morning sickness when it clearly wasn't the case !

Morning Mousemole. I'm with you on the nausea thing - I now know it happens during the 2WW anyway and keep telling myself to ignore it !!

I was wide awake most of last night (could be another symptom or could be just me as I get insomnia anyway) and quite windy yesterday afternoon, but then again I note that down in every 2WW

I am INCREDIBLY bloated though - feels like I've stuffed a beach ball down my jumper. I know I put on weight when I put my back out, but I've been dieting well and exercising manically for nearly 3 weeks now, so clothes shouldn't be this tight Again though, I do often bloat after ovulation.

Snowbunny - if you ovulated and conceived on CD14 and saw that sort of blood at 5 days past ovulation then yes, that could well be an implantation bleed A little early, but I had one once at 6DPO, so it can happen.

snowbunny- Sounds hopeful.. Fingers crossed for you.

Quick question for you. Im so out of touch with my body since having DD.

Now on CD 22 and this morning had a return of CM.. normal or not?

Had abit of a funny tummy yesterday. Not really cramps but a kinda heavy feeling and just not quite right with a headache on and off.

Are the FR 6 day early tests any good? Ive always waited till after I was late but im begining to feel the urge!

Yeah id say it was slippery, cleary kind. Just cant remember if thats normal for me or not.

Before we decided to TTC number2 i just didnt pay much attention and just moaned each month when the PMT kicked in.
As other mummys will confirm since DD I cant remember much about ttc #1... Its true what they say about your brain turning to mush! ( or maybe thats just me! )

Ooh, I've got thrush this morning and have had some lotiony CM during the last couple of days. By that I mean that it isn't sticky - does that make sense? I'm only on CD17 and really can't remember what happened with DS, or what happened last month either , might start writing stuff down. I think DH thinks I'm bonkers so this behaviour won't help.

I now feel more positive about the thrush and will stop moaning for the time being.

Jools - what stage would you get the creamy CM - what day in the cycle ?None to report so far but need to start wearing my black pants . Oh dear, my dh would collapse with laughter at the things we talk about here ! Still got the bloated tummy like you jools. Been on a health kick this week so tummy should be flatter than this !

I neve used to notice any creamy cm post ovulation, then the one cycle I did notice, I got a BFP.

Since then, I've noticed it on cycles where I haven't had a BFP BUT they have been suspected CPs (I won't test early)

I think some creamy cm can be normal, so it isn't necessarily a sign unless it is abnomal for you. Lots of lotiony cm is a good sign though apparently ...

It is just so difficult to predict !

Hello, can I join too? On cd 25, my cycle is irregular. between 24 and 33 days ish. Did an early response test on day 22 - I know, I know, I shouldn't have, and it was neg. But am thinking it was too early to test anyway. Metalic taste in mouth like I'm chewing ball bearings, exhausted, grumpy, sore boobs etc. Then again was certain I was preg last month and wasn't. So desperate to test again, I just can't be trusted...

Hello all, I am a mad symptom-spotter too.

Was due on 1st or 2nd Sept but have tested today and the past three days and BFN every one. Depressing. I should have come on yesterday but nothing at all. Maybe AF will come today??

I did have very heavy/swollen norks from 7 dpo and was so convinced that we'd managed it this month but as the days go by with still BFN's I think not. Just wish AF would start so I can think 'another chance to try'.

My temps are still up but not as high as when I conceived dd1 and dd2.

Hope there is some happy news on this thread soon. I'm too scared to join the bus threads...

Fanjolina- love your name ! The waiting for AF when you have a negative test is horrid isn't it. You might be lucky yet... here's hoping.
