Thanks, MM. But don't think so this month. I have been lucky enough to be pg twice before and in those cases the HPT came back +ve at 11 and 13dpo so I'd have thought it would have been by now. Symptoms pretty much gone away, too.

There's always next month...

Kaylo · 02/09/2009 16:22

Hey everyone - I'm testing 10th Sept, and also going on holiday on the 16th Sept

Trying desperately not to symptom spot but failing miserably.

Nice to 'meet' you all

xxx

mousemole · 02/09/2009 16:50

Hi kaylo - welcome !
Fanjolina - yes with my other 2 I got a positive 11 and 12 DPO. Next month is not long away if this isn't your month.

Joolsiam · 02/09/2009 16:52

Definitely a good week to go on holiday I go then because it is cheaper (no kids yet so no school worries)

Ok, so the symptoms today at only 2dpo are:

Creamy CM
Major bloating - more than usual post ov
Mild cramping this afternoon

mousemole · 02/09/2009 18:58

where are you going on hols Jools ?

RH1979 · 02/09/2009 20:12

Hi Guys - I hope you don't mind me joining in? My period is due sat and I am really desperate to know if I am preggers or not. So, so excited. Would any of you recommend a test I could take tomorrow or are they not that acurate early on?
Have had what I think is an implantation bleed, been tired, have grumblings etc etc. Sorry if this counts as hijacking this thread - new to all of this.
Thanks xx

CurlyCasper · 02/09/2009 20:20

Hi all

snow, yup, I'm with ya - but jealous of your implantation-type bleed. Roll on the 11th!
lack of symptoms today... back ache?!? (was on feet all day).

Hey kaylo long time no chat. Looks like we'll be testing about the same time

mousemole · 03/09/2009 08:03

hi rh1979- implantation bleed sounds positive. I've never decided which test is the best for early detection. In theory clear blue are good but I think opinion is divided. The superdrug own brand one is much cheaper and supposed to be really reliable as are the pound shop ones.
Hi curlycasper. I am symptom free today as well. Boobs look exactly the same as normal and I think on day 19 I should be noticing some changes ?

pigleychez · 03/09/2009 08:50

morning all.

CD23 for me today.
My list of symptoms\aliments :

Constant Backache for the past few days
Headaches
tummy grumbles
Tight feeling across my chest and top of boobs (had something similar with DD but not this intense)
Hot and light headed feelings.

Make of them what you will.. Im divided into two camps... First happy that "maybe" and the other of not getting excited only to be disappointed

May test at the weekend if im brave enough!

fingers crossed for everyone

Loujalou · 03/09/2009 08:55

My so called symptoms of nausea and funny taste in mouth seem like they are related to the cold I have developed today

On day 22 so still got to wait til Tuesday before period due. Its going to be a long wait.

30ish · 03/09/2009 09:12

Loujalou hope you feel better soon!

My symptoms seem to have diminished over the last few days although I still have slight back ache and heightened sense of smell (very slight) and I am now convinced it's all in my head! On day 22 - roll on Tuesday! When we concieved our DD (2yrs) I wasn't this obsessed! We caught straight away - I didn't even realise I was pregnant until I was 6 weeks. What's happenend? Why am I so obsessed every month trying to concieve #2? Fingers crossed for BFPs for everyone this month!

Kaylo · 03/09/2009 11:30

wow curly I didn't even realise you were TTC yet - in my head I thought it was xmas time-ish? Sorry for the long absence - my laptop wire melted and dh used the last of the battery charge to buy a new wire on eBay and we're still waiting Have missed MN so much - its my TTC release!!

As for no symptom spotting, I tried my best I really did to NOT get my hopes too high in the sky but.... here's my list:-

backache
headache
achy abdomen
nausea - but no sickness
lack of apetite? always feel full (very not like me - I assure you. I'm even off chocolate!!!)

I think I'm cd22 today so it's around the right time to start noticing something surely?
I've never felt like this after ovulation so heres hoping...

FanjolinaJolie · 03/09/2009 12:04

AF crashed my party today. Pleased it's here after all the BFN's I was worried when AF was two days late and still BFN. Anyway, at least I know now.

We'll try again this month and I might try to stop temping and charting and relax a bit more, too. This was our first month TTC no 3 and I surprised myself just how obsessed/stressed I was about it. Not good ,really. Must chilllllll.

Welcome all the newbies. Hoping you get your BFP's very soon and babydust and sticky vibes to us all.

dcb · 03/09/2009 14:52

I'm in the same boat as you FJ - due on today-ish, but 1st proper cycle after MC so not sure. I too have the achey boobs etc (just like every other month) but I still manage to convince myself I might be. Have had cramps on and off for over a week now - usu just 1-2 days before a period, but wondering if it might just be diff due to recent MC. Also (tmi alert) I have a shooting type pain which feels deeper inside, maybe around where I'd imagine my cervix would be if that makes sense. Oh good lord, someone tell me to pull myself together please (couldn't help doing a test today which of course was neg....)

Joolsiam · 03/09/2009 15:00

Is being absolutely ravenous a very early symptom I've been eating so much, and been so incredibly hungry, this cannot be usual !

Kaylo · 03/09/2009 16:10

Fanjolina this was our first month TTC #3 also

I am getting loads of abdomy achy feelings and they feel really uncomfortable a bit like period pains but lower - am trying not to be too hopeful as it could come crashing down horribly on me but who knows.....?

pigleychez · 03/09/2009 20:38

I now have another couple of things to add to my list :

Hunger pains- by 12 by stomach is growling and rumbling away! Same as with DD.

This afternoon a return of CM and feeling Damp downstairs (tmi)

DH and I have agreed we will wait to test on Sunday.. Excited but also nervous!

CurlyCasper · 03/09/2009 22:20

kaylo we did our sums again, and decided to start trying sooner It would have been end of this month otherwise (think the others were all Xmas)

mouse symptom free isn't fun. Is is sad that I want to be obsessive? I never had much in the way of period signs anyway - other than pain in the 12 hours before the waves came ashore!

I'm always hungry, always tired and always peeing - nothing new! pigley is increased CM after Ov a sign of PG? [hopeful emoticon]

Busy trying to get new PDA working - tells me MN is controlled content for over 18s only, so back on the laptop...

Kaylo · 04/09/2009 08:12

6days until testing day - can't believe how the days seem to take forever to dwindle. wanna test now dammit - how accurate are first response. apparently they can tell you 6days before AF?

Or I could be sensible and wait.

Curly so pleased I 'recognize' someone from before the rollercaster

mousemole · 04/09/2009 09:34

kaylo, wait a couple of days - I think they say it works up to 5 days from when your period is late so that means 4 days from when your period is due. So easy to say wait though isn't it. I feel like this month isn't my month. I have 3 random symptoms - afternoon headaches ( could be a bug), weeing a lot, and pulling feeling in tummy ( wind probably ).Curlycasper - I am like you, I don't get any PMT symptoms or AF signs until 2 hrs before.
Curly - I am feeling ahem 'damp' down there too. Not sure if that is good or bad. No creamy cm for me, just watery.
Off to wedding this weekend, think I will have lots of bubbly !

OP posts:
Kaylo · 04/09/2009 16:51

Yep - am defnitely gonna wait, in theory.

well intentions are good anyhow

Spirael · 04/09/2009 17:14

Hi all, can I join in the waiting? I reckon I'm currently half way through my 2WW, as I'm pretty sure I ovulated last weekend by the temp checking and CM watching I've been religiously doing every morning. DTD over the appropriate time frame, so now it's just down to waiting and seeing, I guess.

Sadly, I've not had anything that could really be classed as a symptom thus far. No excessive tiredness, no hunger or nausea, no smell sensitivty, no breast tenderness, etc. The only thing I could possibly attribute would be a stitch-like pain towards my left side a couple of days ago, that came on during rest and irritated me for a couple of hours. But I'm not sure whether that means anything other than I shouldn't curl myself up in the armchair instead of sitting properly!

So yeah... I'm mostly thinking I've failed again this month, which is a bit of a bummer. Especially as my friends and workmates keep announcing their new accidental or first time trying pregnancies! Ah well... I guess I'll just have to keep trying. AF should be due in a week or so, then I'll get back to the calendar for penciling out when I need DH on duty!

Loujalou · 04/09/2009 18:52

Mmmm... It feels funny in my tummy but that could be completely in my head. Also that feels better now I am sat down. Am tired today though. But looking after a toddler does that to you. Nausea has gone and things taste normal.

There was something else but I have forgotten what it was. Oh yes have had this feeling of being wet below but when I check not that wet. TMI! But lots of CM today. Those who record CM what happens to CM if you conceive compared to just a normal cycle?

Should be getting some spotting Sunday morning if period is coming and it will start Tuesday.

SnowBunny1 · 04/09/2009 20:12

Hi all

Just checking in

Nothing to report here, but then there never is. Last cycle I felt sick and was even retching in the loo, had cramps, loss of appetite, funny taste in the mouth and what did I get BFN

this cycle, nothing. Maybe thats a good sign or a sign for BFN

I hate the 2ww AAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH

Good luck to everyone else by the way

xx

pigleychez · 04/09/2009 20:51

not much to report here,

Had a fun day out at Goodwood curcuit as DH was doing a racing day driving various fast cars. Was nice to not actually think about ttc for a change!

In the car on the way their with the Inlaws something came up about babies. Anyway MIL pipes up saying "oh well you dont want another one yet... Not yet." She doesnt know we are ttc 2! Oh well, tough as its not her choice. DH and I gave each other gave each other a knowing look as I could even be already!!

Plan to test Sunday- Fingers crossed!
