Am 6d dpo and have a tender tummy area. Probably my imagination. Has anyone else had this as a symptom or am I down with something else. No nausea though.

Hubby has decided his sperm have done the trick this month. Men!!

Any more BFPs?

liahgen · 23/09/2009 18:37

Dh just rang,

"any news?"

me - "no honey it's too early"

him - "well when will we know?"

me - Thursday would be very earliest, not hugely reliable at that point"

him - "well, I've got my fingers crossed, I just wanna have sex for fun again"

Bless him, the things they do for ur eh?

WickedWitchSouthWest · 23/09/2009 18:40

Ahh emmalou what a nightmare, that always happens to us too! I guess one night off can't hurt, the egg survives for 24 hours after release and the sperm can last 5 days so you should be ok

Hi nymph my dd was a bit of an accident - I was off the pill 3 weeks! Seriously considering going on the pill for a month in December to see if it will work again

WickedWitchSouthWest · 23/09/2009 18:44

lia am having a giggle at your dh!

louja not sure, I seem to get some very pg signs right before my af starts but I'm obviously a bit odd

I'm having some random symptoms, but they are possibly related to my cold and exertions at the weekend - waves of nausea, headache, tired, but at the same time I also feel like i've got some period cramps

Given myself a little mantra: "i will not test, I will not test, I will not test..." coz really, period starting is better than a bfn...

liahgen · 23/09/2009 18:49

when you due period WWSW?

god how do you resist?

WickedWitchSouthWest · 23/09/2009 18:52

Well my shortest recent cycle was 29 days which is today, last month was 32 and the one before 31, so I'm expecting the red wave of doom on Saturday as worst case scenario I do feel a bit shit today tho and have needed to wee LOTS but no uti symptoms to go with it. I just DON'T resist, that's the problem! I'll be amazed if I haven't caved on Friday morning

liahgen · 23/09/2009 18:54

Oh that sounds promising, have you been temping? Look at higher temps by now if so. (thanks Divvy for teaching me)

I would sooo test by now, have you one in the house?

WickedWitchSouthWest · 23/09/2009 18:59

haha!!! I've got 7!!! Some ultra sensitive internet sticks, a FR and CBD to confirm if I EVER get a +ve. They were on special offer, it's not my fault

I'm not temping, it looks too hard for my early morning brain, plus dd has started waking during the night for some reason and I worry that it would mess it up.

Loujalou · 23/09/2009 19:38

Bless your DH wanting to have sex just for fun. They get all excited.

I have symptoms most months but has got to nothing. Got some cheapy tests from ebay. I have no patience. So I have saved a lot of money by not buying any before this month.

Keep meaning to temp but am rubbish in the mornings so with organising myself, DS etc my brain falls apart. Though I do love spreadsheets so might be plan b. Also going to try DH on vitamins next month. He was taking some of my pregnacare ones so he would be in best shape. So if not preggers will try them next month.

liahgen · 23/09/2009 19:57

Well i didn't hink I could understand it but someone showed me how to do it, and it's really easy. Can give misleading results if you haven't been asleep for 4 hours though I think so if your dd is still waking then maybe bit too much at mo wwsw

We are going onto vits if not up the duff this month, 9 mths is taking the piss, I could've had the bloody baby by now.

wwsw now I know how many tests you have inthe house, I admire your restraint even further. I have some ebay cheapies to waste to give me an idea over the early days.

WickedWitchSouthWest · 23/09/2009 20:04

I'm very tempted to do one in the morning but it's the ongoing frustration - maybe it's too early, maybe it's a shy one....I'm trying to convince myself it's better to bleed than squinting madly at a stick trying to conjure up a line!

Hubby is taking zinc supplements, but he started doing that only a week or so ago, so too late for this month but hopefully a good build up for next month. We thought that him being fit was a good thing but I didn't realise that exercise actually depletes zinc levels as well as vit c - in the last couple of months he has run a half marathon and done 2 cycle rides over 100 miles each so it's obviously all his fault

MrsRigby · 23/09/2009 20:35

Evening

loujalou my tummy feels like I've just done 5 billion abdominal crunches . DH also takes my Pregnacare .

liahgen DH keeps asking me when we'll start enjoying sex again.

wickedwitchsouthwest I also contemplated going on the pill to sort out my cycle.

DH has just informed me that he is going to Madrid next week (work). Leaving me alone with 10 month old DS who by the way is teething and waking up at 12am, 2am, 4.30am and finally 5.30am.

I just hope I've already ovulated.

I've told DH to email his colleague and tell him that he can't go, as I'm possibly ovulating next week .

liahgen · 23/09/2009 20:45

My very indiscreet very open dh talks to his colleague, (boss) about our attempts, ie "Yes have to get straight home, Liahgen is being very demanding, it's that time" and the like.

Will be interesting at the xmas do.

nymphadora · 23/09/2009 21:36

Dp just asked if he could have the night off if he set the alarm for early in the am! I thought he was still enjoying it, I was

liahgen · 23/09/2009 21:43

nymph I sometimes say to dh, don't worry, we'll sneak one in before you go to work.

WickedWitchSouthWest · 23/09/2009 22:47

Welcome loobylou sorry to see you've had an mc, hope this is a lucky bus for you!

I feel less sick now I've eaten, and I'm still off the grape juice. Maybe it's a very extended hangover from the weekend? That would be just my luck!

Hi sky hope you're feeling better soon

nymph I can't find the sodding article again now, but I saw it mentioned in a couple of things I read. I'll try and dig it out! It was high-impact or prolonged exercise that was mentioned.

I feel absolutely fine this morning! Going to try not to test til Saturday morning....ha! wish me luck with that one!

Anyone heard from bluesnow and midnightgarden?
