lol lia I've been away 2 nights and hubby is up for some "just for fun"...I feel like death though Happy birthday for tomorrow! Hope you get that LATE present!

WickedWitchSouthWest · 21/09/2009 10:03

well there was no fun last night! I feel like death now...head cold! Just went to pharmacist to see what I can do and he basically said treat yourself as if you're pg so inhale steam and take paracetamol only. Gah.

Limelight · 21/09/2009 11:05

Hello ladies!

haven't posted in a while so lovely to see some graduates - well done and how exciting!!

So after the longest period in the history of the world (probably as a result of it being 2.5 weeks late!!),DH and I are on the job (as it were!).

Having failed miserably so far to have any idea how my cycle works, we're doing frequent and regular this month. It's a hard job but someone's got to do it etc etc. DH has suddenly started to go for a run every night and is eating lots of carbs - think he's trying to keep his energy up!

Am toilet training DS1 this month as well. Might need a holiday in October...

nymphadora · 22/09/2009 07:25

Forgot to test yesterday , had 11 hour day ( what happened to 9-5 job?) and rushed to loo when I got , then burst into tears cos it was too late!

Lots of shagging anyway so potential of catching, just annoyed about missing opk

ImmaterialGirl · 22/09/2009 09:34

Hi all,

I've been away for a long weekend, and whoa, tons to catch up on here!

Congrats to the graduates!!

AF got me while I was away, so moving myself down the bottom. Still on the June bus though!

Today's test had faint 2nd line does thatmean I am moving closer? Or poss ov yesterday or is it still just not ovnow?

Throwing up at cheese today, symptom spotting overboard, yet if I use any logic at all I am obviously not preg yet!

Woofie · 22/09/2009 17:33

Welcome curly nymph I've worked out that I get nauseous every month around ovulation, so am now able to tell myself firmly "you are not pg yet, you silly mare"... Maybe you're about to ov?

nymphadora · 22/09/2009 18:06

I have been sick for a week now usually due to stress but thought that that was over now

Woofie · 22/09/2009 18:46

Btw, meant me being a silly mare, not you! Yep, i get sick w stress too, but hadn't noticed til last couple of months that happens regular as clockwork for a couple of days around ovulation.

liahgen · 22/09/2009 19:36

well i'm counting down to testing day, Could feasibly be Thursday, am trying to wait till Friday at least. God I am sooo impatient.

MrsRigby · 22/09/2009 19:48

Evening

Sister-in-law has just announced that she is 3 months pregnant .

This is the one that lives in London, loves going out to restraunts, bars and clubs, is very career minded and has just brought an Audi TT (which she now needs to sell because she can't get a car seat to fit it). She lives with her husband in a 2 bedroomed house and has said that she is not going to decorate the second room as she uses it as her office and will simply put a cot in the corner.

I should be happy for her, so why aren't I?

On top of that I'm still stressed about going back to work in November. I really don't want to. I want to stay at home and look after my son, but DH hasn't got that promotion yet.

Feeling shit.

And as soon as DH found out that his sister was expecting, he announced he wanted to have sex again tonight - that'll be 3 nights in a row.

Surely this is my month???

liahgen I've got everything crossed for you, I hope this is your month too - I hope this is everyone's month.

Hollyoaks · 22/09/2009 19:56

Hi everyone, nothing to report from me but I keep looking in to see how you all are. Wishing everyone good luck

WickedWitchSouthWest · 22/09/2009 20:04

evening ladies

welcome curly I'm screaming!! I want this week to go super-fast!

Welcome back immaterial glad you had a good weekend, but a bit manky to have to go to the back of the bus again! Hope it's nice and comfy

Oo lia hope this is your month! Hold out til Friday if you can (i'm not one to talk )

Hi MrsR oh god, that's just shit isn't it? I fully sympathise with your feelings on that one, there's been a couple of friends announcing pregnancies that have annoyed me but one very deserved one whcih made me very happy so I'm not a complete bitch

Anyway, cd29 and period cramps have started. Exactly the same as last month and the month before, so here we go again. Trying not to set myself up for a huge disappointment but while there's a teeny tiny chance I'll cling to it. I think I'll be more certain either way on Friday so will either test then or drown my sorrows....

loopybear · 22/09/2009 20:47

Well my GP will be pleased that I missed the June bus and I know she's right because it's best to get 1 month clear of the pill before trying. I'm going to hang around here and wait for the July bus to be ready and hope we have some more graduates. Fortunately DH is away as much this month either.

Mrs Rigby a big hug for you my BF is pregnant and fell at the drop of hat and all she's says is that she wants the baby to arrive 4 weeks early so she can have a drink on New Years Eve! I pointed out I've given up my odd glass of wine a month to try and get pregnant again!

MrsRigby · 22/09/2009 21:47

I just wish it wasn't so hard.

DH and I were talking before about conceiving DS. I'm of the opinion that DS was a miracle and DH is of the opinion that he has super sperm , as we only had sex about once a week.

What are the chances of getting pregnant if you have sex every other day - which is what we're doing .

WickedWitchSouthWest · 22/09/2009 22:08

it's supposed to be the best way, but we've done that for 2 months and look, no baby! Even if you do it at exactly the right time, there's still only a 20% chance of conception, so maybe you have to be at it constantly for 5 months before you got dismiss the theory

liahgen · 22/09/2009 22:13

Oh mrsR it's completely shit isn't it? I really feel for you.

(((()))) have some unmnetty hugs.

Chances are excellent for falling by having sex every other day, then when you get darker line, go for the next 3/4 days all together, (well that's my opinion anyway, hasn't bloody worked for me yet, but hey ho)

WWSW it's not over till its over, try and keep smiling for a bit.

holloaks good to see you're well

Good luck anyone due to test soon and anyone ov this week.

Lets stop off somewhere warm, get some sun on our not yet preggers bodies..

WickedWitchSouthWest · 22/09/2009 22:29

oo yes please, could do with a little break!

This has just really irritated me so I'm going to share it here so we can all join in the annoyance! This is one of my facebook friend's status': "xx has hot swollen feet tonight & fed up, 34 weeks tomorrow, I know it's only 6 more weeks to go, but I'd given birth by now with [dd1]"

Can I hear a stfu? grrr This woman has managed to moan and whinge through her whole pregnancy!

loopybear · 23/09/2009 02:42

I think stopping off somewhere nice and warm is just what we need.

Mrs Rigby are DH have alot in common. We weren't trying for DD. In the middle of Ofsted I forgot to take the mini-pill and got pregnant with DD. DH is convinced he has super sperm. This is our 2nd time of trying. I got very obsessed last time and them DH changed jobs and so we gave it a break. Trying not to be obsessed this time but I can't help thinking, if I got pregnant 1st time by suprise why doesn't it happen so easily this time.

Updated list for Wedsnesday as I'm awake and probably the first logged on. Really need to sort sleep out!

Now 9 years on and new partner so lots of worries!

Can't sleep this am either

Hi guys - do you mind if I hop on? Hope I've added myself onto the list properly. Looks like I have a lot in common with Firerise!

I'd like to say I was symptom spotting about now... but I don't have any (booh!).

Ladyemmalou83 · 23/09/2009 15:09

My plan of the every day sh*g is already going pear shape. Tonight we have a mate staying with us who has just split up with her fella. Is it ok to stick to plan tonight? Dont want her to know we are at it, but kinda want to stick to plan....ohh what to do?

liahgen · 23/09/2009 16:04

stick to plan, she's not sharing your bed is she?
