Ok Ladies... new thread, since the old one was getting too long and dragging my computer (and Kat's) down with it!

MrsD - cant believe you are 30 weeks already! So you found that cutting out the lactose helps? It will be almost a week for me and I have noticed some improvement, but not a lot. Of course, he is still getting a milk-based formula supplement to the BFing. I am going to switch to a soy formula and see if it makes a difference as well. Until then... God give me strength!!! LOL

Welcome pinkclouds! How exciting, going for no 4!

I'd just get on with trying if I were you - you can never have enough practise!

KatnKankles · 23/09/2010 19:08

Welcome pink. I joined when I was TTC ~4 and she's now 4 months old :D

Am in denial.... currently am smoking a lot and hoping it goes away (sorry if that's insensitive just how I feel at the moment). If it continues I will come to terms with it and be fine and love it but it would be easier if it didn't work out...
It's not even really the baby.. it's the pregnancy, it was horrendous the last time... SPD and all sorts. Not sure how I'll manage being sofa bound with ababy....

I'm due to have a loop excision on my cervix on Tuesday as I got diagnosed with stage 3 cervical dysplasia just before I fell pg with Ava. There's no way I'm putting it off for any longer and risking cancer....

Still haven't told DH but I told my Mum who was great although she's mega maternal and would have had 300 babies if she could have so she started going on about it maybe being a boy etc.. I was like woah hang on!!

Thanks for your well wishes rainbow.... how are you?

babyblue4 · 23/09/2010 19:28

OMG Kat!!! Congratulations! Hopefully once the shock wears off you will do fine. Make sure you tell the doc about your situation before doing the cervical procedure. My sisters doc said that pregnancy actually prevents any further growth of the cells (hormone related I guess). Taks care of yourself and that little blessing you are carrying!

Rainbow! How have you been??

Welcome pink! I have been a member of this thread for 2 years now! My #4 is now 14 months old!

KatnKankles · 23/09/2010 19:56

Thanks BB... I absolutely adore all my DCs and I love the chaos but.. dunno... 5???

Need to tell Dh trouble is he usually goes to bed before the older DCs and he's mega stressed with work atm.

He's an AMAZING Dad (when he's here - he works a lot) and is completely besotted with Ava so I know he'd be fine but he worries about money etc...

We are lucky in that we have a nice biggish house with 6 bedrooms (my mum has one of them as she lives with us). All the DCs currently have their own bedroom - I can imagine their faces if I tell them 2 of them have to share!

pinkclouds · 24/09/2010 00:31

Kat You will be amazing you have managed 4. You already have everything you need, and look at all experience you already have. xx

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome, can't wait I am so excited now Grinspoke to my mum and thought she would be really p**d off, but in fact was really happy, Not had one negative comment yet!!! (there is time)

Babyblue how are you finding 4? what are your age gaps.

I think I am going mad, having a real wobble why I am doing this!!!

popped to the supermarket for the essentials (wine) Winkwas in their 5 mins. get back to the car and it won't start. Spent 2 hours waiting for it to be fixed!! Dh at home with kids having tea ect.

Maybe its the hormone rush from coming off the pill, just about in tears when I finally made it home. Spent the rest of the night feeling like some crazy women. DC and DH seemed perfectly happy thou. lol

Congrats Loopy. At least you will have someone to compare notes with!

Meanbeansmum · 25/09/2010 21:37

The short version.... My BA!

I had one lot of prostin thursday, by friday 6am still no changes to my cervix, still prosterior and firm. 6.40am (40mins later) I heard a pop and then went my waters. I sorted myself into new pj's and called dh, 20 mins on the monitor, 10 mins in ther early labour room where I could feel bearing down pains minutes after being examined and told I was 3cm dilated, up to delivery ward and 3 pushes later (during which I could feel her moving down into position) she was out! She had her cord tightly around her neck and under her left arm and had to be whisked off untangled and given oxygen. She did breathe spontaneously though. Scary stuff. So Sophia Rose was born on the 24th Sept weighing 8lb 14oz at 8:14am after a 1 hour 34 minute labour and she is perftect!

We had to stay in yesterday as Sophia's temperature dipped and I spent the night doing kangaroo care and her temp rose and stabilised.

We are home now, she is sooo yummy, the children are thrilled with the new addition. I feel suprisingly well!

Freaky moment....mw who delivered her asked when she arrived,....'does she have a nbame', I told her and she said 'noway, I was going to say why don't you name her Sophia'. How freaky is that lol!

omg peeps I'm so in love. I don't want to bath her to preserve her newborn yumminess.

Kat!!!!! Congratulations!!!!! What is meant to be will be hunni!!!!! I agree with not putting off your treatment, talk to the doc about it.xxx

Pink clouds, welcome!!! This is a lovely thread! You are very welcome here! It will all be fine! I have just become a mummy to 4 and I am on cloud 9!!!!!!! 4 is an AMAZING number! :)

Hi to everyone, I'm all full of newbornness at the moment. I love loove love this stage...my little miss is so yummy!!!

Loopy had a good look back and all was very helpful. I hope SCH shrinks away. It must be very worrying time for you I can't imagine how stressful it must be.

I am waiting to see if I ov this month I really hope so. Don't know why but I have convinced myself that it will not this time round! Maybe it's because I have left it much longer than ttc before, and I suppose I am getting older!! Grin

Nothing happening at the moment, not quite sure but think if you class my withdrawal bleed as AF then I will be CD10, but not sure if I use withdrawal bleed or the day I stopped taking the pill??? Confused

Trying to keep an eye CM, but feels like a long time since I have done all this. Anyway DH is home tonight after a week of working away, so I am going to make the most of the whole weekendWink.

but don't think I have od'v yet. lol Not that it matters, had lots of fun. lol.

Meanbeansmum · 04/10/2010 20:33

Loopy, you must be so worried, crossing everything for you. Stay sticky little baby! xxxxx

Pink, lol, fun sounds good. IT's been a while since I had 'fun' with dh and the mw harping opn about contraception today did not make me feel very amorous lol!

Kat, how are things babe, have you chatted to the doc about your options with the treatment. Hope you are ok, here if you need us.xxx

BB, hiya!!!!

Ohhh my baby is soooo yummy!!!! I love being a mum to 4, it seems like the perfect number! She's slotted in so nicely! She's been jaundiced but is nice and pink now, it's been stressful but we've turned the corner now. :) Loving the newborness and sucking it all in :). I will miss this phase, the thought of never having a newborn again is sad but noooo way do I want to do it again!

Love to all.xxx
