Ok Ladies... new thread, since the old one was getting too long and dragging my computer (and Kat's) down with it!

MrsD - cant believe you are 30 weeks already! So you found that cutting out the lactose helps? It will be almost a week for me and I have noticed some improvement, but not a lot. Of course, he is still getting a milk-based formula supplement to the BFing. I am going to switch to a soy formula and see if it makes a difference as well. Until then... God give me strength!!! LOL

HI LOOPY, just popping onto this thread to wish you luck with you scan, hope all is well and it continues to do so, we miss you on the nov thread :( lots of love xxxx

Meanbeansmum · 09/09/2010 17:35

Loopy,I've been induced twice. Ds1 ws induce at 38 weeks (high bp, big baby and he had kidney issues so they wanted him out). I had one lot of gel (it was gel back then lol) and my waters popped on their own after I refused a second lot of gel, 3hours 45 mins later baby arrived. A few mins of pushing.
Second baby I was pushed over in a school playground and my pelvis crunched, 2 days of slow labour and then it kicked off after a sweep 3hours 45mins labour.
3rd baby I was induced at 41+1 with a tablet, my cervix was not favourable and had to be pulled down (OMG owww). 5 hours later the pains kicked in (it always takes about 5 hours to work) then pains began and she was out within an hour and a half.
Induction works well for me but I'm scared!!!!!!!!! I don't want to be examined next week.....I would like to be left alone to go on my own. I'm just trying to figure out if I have the nerve to hold it out and get monitored or if I cave for induction???!!!!!???????

Arghhhhhhhhh! Part of me says take the induction, I know it works and baby will be born in a controlled environment (I need syntocin to prevent pph after ds2). But allowing someone to put me in pain seems bonkers, why would I want to do that lol!

Everyone else seems to go into labour after sex or a long walk but no not me lol.

Induction really isn't that bad if it works for you but it is blooming daunting.xx

Kat...no not RA, massive hugs, it sounds like you have been in significant pain (((((((hugs))))))))).

Hatty, I found the first two weeks of the school holidays hell on earth but then we all adjusted into routines and it was fine. I hope you get that bfp soon! xx

Oh my loopy! What an extraordinary rollercoaster this pregnancy has been! Can you translate what a haematoma is?

I imagine you are still feeling nervous about the whole thing. Everything crossed that next scan shows things thriving...will be thinking of you.

Meanbeansmum · 14/09/2010 18:11

Loopy! Yay! I hope it's reabsorbed quickly. I had significant blood loss with ds2, they suggested a twin loss, it went through clothing and all over the floor within seconds of agonising cramps, then quickly stopped again, how ds2 hung on I'll never know. There is hope! :)

Loopy you're such a trooper. Really hope things start to settle down for you.

Not much news here - day 21 and I am trying not to symptom spot. Am a hormonal crazy lady but that could well be PMT approaching early!

One of the mums at school has just announced her pregnancy with her 6th child -so 4 seems less daunting! We live in a big catholic area so there are lots of large families around which is motivating.

Kat, any news on the RA?

Loopy I don't kind of feel this is the month - so will try and be strong and just wait to see if AF arrives. I have got bloating and grumbly tummy ache..

but GP's surgery has just phoned to say they think I have coeliac disease (wheat intolerance) due to persistent tiredness/low iron and want to start doing tests for it. So I am preoccupied with that I guess and it's taking my mind off the 2WW!

Although I do have a spare pregnancy test in the bathroom cabinet .

Are you managing to distract yourself from the next scan?

It's bizarre isn't it how you can welcome nausea as a good thing when you're desperate for it to be a healthy pregnancy!

Oh how I hate the 2 week wait. .

Loopy - havent had much time to post as RL is getting in the way. Hope you hang in there. What incredible news! I had a massive bleed at 16 weeks with DS1 and thought it was all over, but he is a healthy monster boy today! Hope your scan goes well and this little bean is really sticky :)

Meanbeansmum · 19/09/2010 21:10

Loopy! You are doing great hunni!!! Stay positive, we are all rooting for your little one.xxx

Hatty, POAS already lol!!!! I used to cave at about cd23 lol!!!! Go on you know you want to lol! Good luck.xxxx

BB, life is manic here too, I keep forgetting to pop in here, I have totally neglected my MN AN club, I can't keep up with them all lol.

I've been in hospital, my heartrate was racing so I went on a 24hour ECG, all is ok but I am being induced 2 days before my due datye this WEDNESDAY!!!!!! Bricking it.......I blooming hate contractions, I hope I can do as I did with DD and go into the zone lol! Wish me luck girls.xxxx

babyblue4 · 20/09/2010 15:09

Good luck Means!! Hope you have a quick and pain free Confused delivery!! Grin Cant wait to see pics of your gorgeous Sophia!

hattyyellow · 20/09/2010 20:34

Good luck Means! It's just so exciting! Hope it all goes really well.

Loopy how are you getting on?

Am so utterly convinced am not pg am refusing to test

KatnKankles · 22/09/2010 22:53

OH MY GOD.
SOmeone up there is playing a trick on me... remember my post about the implant and weird bleed.
Did a test today just to put my mind at rest 99.9% sure it would be negative... HUGE FUCKING BFP.

SHIT SHIT

Ava is only 4 months old.... I must be nearly 8 weeks pregnant.

Aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Haven't told anyone, not even DH. Too scared... I know he'll be supportive (he's fab) but I don't want to make it real by saying it out loud.

Sorry if this is insensitive, I know most of you are ttc but didnt know where else to post.

Tell me 5 children won't kill me... this one will be born before Ava's 1st birthday. Shock Shock

If it even works out, I still have my implant in Hmm

hattyyellow · 23/09/2010 09:19

Oh my goodness Kat!!! Congratulations!! You must be feeling a huge rollercoaster of emotions!

Don't people say that the more kids you have the easier it gets to adjust? ie 1 to 2 is the biggest shock, 2 to 3 is easier etc?

Can GP advise re implant?

Do you have much help at home/with the kids?

When do you think you will tell DH?

We have two families of 5 around here and they are great - not much gaps at all around the little ones, they are year 1, reception and school nursery!

Don't worry at all about posting here - it distracts me from my 2WW, day 28 today gulp! Am too scared to test, scared of it being postitive and scared of it being negative!

rainbowdays · 23/09/2010 09:41

Kat - Grin Congratulations, and yes you will do great with 5.

pinkclouds · 23/09/2010 14:30

Hi everyone I am newbie to site but think I found the right thread.Grin
Me and my dh have decided to try for number 4. My youngest ds will be 4yrs next week. We thought that was a big enough gap and if we leave it any longer we won't bother. lol

We nervous and excited!!!Wink I came off the pill on Saturday 18/09 and having withdrawal bleed now. Don't know whether to wait for a normal bleed or just get on with trying!!!!
