Ok Ladies... new thread, since the old one was getting too long and dragging my computer (and Kat's) down with it!

MrsD - cant believe you are 30 weeks already! So you found that cutting out the lactose helps? It will be almost a week for me and I have noticed some improvement, but not a lot. Of course, he is still getting a milk-based formula supplement to the BFing. I am going to switch to a soy formula and see if it makes a difference as well. Until then... God give me strength!!! LOL

How are we all doing? Means, you sound so happy it's just lovely and such a good advert for having a 4th!

Pink, so glad I have someone else actively ttcing! Hopefully we will both manage to get pg the same month and then we can keep eachother going through the pregnancy!

Loopy, any news on your little bean?

Have given up on giving up ttcing due to dates being wrong of potential EDD. When I got pregnant with the twins I had decided not to go for it that month as it would be an August baby and very young for the year - that went out the window! When I got pregnant with DD3, we said let's not try this month as it'll be a Christmas baby and that went out the window and she was born on Boxing Day!

So am secretly hoping my confused logic will work this month and I will have a horrendous summer holidays next year but it will all be worth it! Clear as mud?!

Loopy I love that rapidly expanding feeling there is nothing better. Not so sure about the feeling rough bit lol.

Hatty Baby's are good all year round, although I quite fancy a winter baby cause it's the perfect excuse to snuggle up all winter and not leave the houseSmile. lol would be lovely if we could keep other company. x

My news well I have had horrendous CystitisSad. So am drinking cranberry juice by the litreWink. I always seem to get it when coming of bc (well either its that or too much bdWink). I'm still waiting for some sign of anything happening. However DH is working away the second half of next week and then a full 2 weeks after that so I'll only have the weekends to make the most of himShock.

hattyyellow · 07/10/2010 12:52

Now girls, bear with me as I can't remember the ttc basics!

If we bd on Monday and Tuesday and then on Wednesday I got loads of EWCM -does that mean Monday and Tuesday "count"? I rarely get such stretchy ECWM so I'm seeing that as a good sign..

Or that we should have done it again last night?

Which with 3 young kids up in the night and having found the energy to do it Mon/Tues would have been pretty much impossible!

hattyyellow · 07/10/2010 12:54

Loopy - fingers xd for the 13th. Hope you got the maternity jeans but sorry you're so uncomfy, is it because of the haemotoma? (sp?)

Pink - winter babies are lovely especially around Christmas time. DD3 was Boxing Day and she had the cutest winter hat for going home from the hospital!

What do we think?? never used opk before and not sure about them.Hmm

I think I am now on 2ww. Hope so cause DH is away now for 2 weeks!!

I'm not sure if this will be the month as I was struck by incredibly painful Kidney Infection at the weekend, and I'm sure that was when I ov'd.Fingers crossed we did enough b4 Blush So now on Antibiotics and strong painkillers. Pain worse than Labour and no baby at the end!!!! Sad

loopy Hope your scan has good results for you. Let us all know.

Hatty Are you 2ww with me? Hope so you can stop me getting stupid Smile

hattyyellow · 12/10/2010 13:02

Loopy - thinking of you today. Everything crossed things are okay.

Pink - yup, we are 2wwing! Well, I am, it's easier to get "in the mood" if DH ignorant of dates. You poor love with your kidney infection, owch! Is there anything you can take/do to relieve the pain?

buttonmoon78 · 12/10/2010 13:11

Just discovered this thread - currently ttc #4.

I had my Mirena out Sept 16th and was expecting to ovulate sometime around Oct 2nd. I was on antibiotics that w/e though so whether that delayed it or whether it was simply that I was getting back to normal after the Mirena I'm not sure, but I had lots of EWCM for a few days finishing Sunday (10th). So I'm anticipating that I ovulated yesterday. Lots of SWI over the w/e so now entering my 2ww!

I'm really excited but not a little bit nervous too. I had really bad SPD during my last pg so that's playing on my mind as well as the usual pg worries.

Hoping for a BFP in 12-4 days though!

hattyyellow · 12/10/2010 13:18

Hi Button! Hooray, you can join Pink and I on our 2ww!

How old are your DC? I have twin girls who are 5 and our youngest daughter will turn 2 in a couple of months.

buttonmoon78 · 12/10/2010 13:23

Mine are a little more spread out than that. DD1 13, DD2 10, DS 3. DS has just started nursery and here I am thinking about going back to having a little one around full time!

How have you found it with twins? Presumably fine as you're trying for #4! I'm a little panicked at the thought of twins as I'm into the next bracket agewise for increasing the chances and I've had 4 pgs (mc between DDs). I'm sure it won't happen but it still niggles at me!

And if it did it would not be the end of the world - you can only tackle what you're dealt!

hattyyellow · 12/10/2010 13:50

Your gap sounds very sensible!

I must admit that the thought of getting a BFP this month fills me with mild horror as I would have a newborn and three under 6's for the whole school holidays!

I always thought it must be easier having twins first, no other children to concentrate on and when they sleep you can sleep etc.

But I have several friends who have had twins as their second/third or third/fourth (not fourth/fifth though!). They felt it was exhausting and they felt bad for the older kids, but ultimately they felt better placed for having twins as later children - as they already were highly experienced in soothing babies/changing nappies etc. So as you say, if it was twins I'm sure you would handle it.

My twins are great, they are such good friends and entertain eachother and us brilliantly. I feel sorry for DD3 not being a twin in fact, as she plays by herself a lot of the time when the big girls are at school and it seems so lonely, to not have a constant playmate!..although twins twice? That would be challenging!

buttonmoon78 · 12/10/2010 13:55

I take it you know you have a higher chance of having twins again if your girls are fraternal twins? Grin

The longer this goes on (my worrying) the less I find the idea wholly scary TBH. I did have a little moment this morning.

DDs are so grown up now, they were such a help with DS. DD1 in particular will be delighted when we conceive #4, whether as twins or a singleton!

hattyyellow · 12/10/2010 14:07

I have research coming out of my ears from when we decided to go for DD3! Because my girls are id, my chances were no higher than someone who hadn't had twins...

Having said that, I'm 35 and I obviously have had previous children so I guess that ups my chances!

You'd be fine if it was twins I'm sure, I think there are a number of people with two sets of twins on the multiple births page on MN and one with twins and triplets!

KatnKankles · 12/10/2010 18:27

Hi all. Loopy Goo luck for tomorrow, I'll be thinking of you.

Also good luck to the 2ww ers

I'm feeling truly hideous. I can't stop retching everytime I smell anything strong. I'm 10 weeks now and am usually feeling better by now :( hopefully it won't be much longer!

I'm seeing the midwife for my booking in on Thursday, it will be interesting to see her reaction!

Still can't belive I'm doing this again... I fricking hate being pregnant.
