38F Your DH must LOVE you!!!

My DH must be a 'face' or 'fabulous personality' man as I have tiny boobs and chunky legs so neither of them hooked him in .

anniebigpants · 21/07/2009 14:40

Im afraid its 'look but dont dare touch' for my DH as they are still so tender. I hate having big boobs, they were a 'mare when i was breastfeeding DS, especially the early days, they were nearly covering his whole face, poor babe couldnt breathe, they went up to an H cup when my milk came in, they certainly didnt look attractive!

MrsKate · 21/07/2009 14:42

yeah curly great news im so happy for you .

blue well im a 38dd before im pg so god knows what stupid size il be when i am . dh is def a boob man lol

GracieGirl · 21/07/2009 14:47

Mrs 34A over here is still jealous!

barbie1 · 21/07/2009 14:56

32dd but spilling out of my bra's now...
Dh is besotted with them...even going as far as forgetting we are in public and insisting he touches the jubs as he has now named them

Poor man just can help himself

Not going to buy bigger size until i get to at least 12 weeks, same goes for new work clothes etc etc...i will not jinx things this time!

gg how many weeks and days are you on frid?

Neeko · 21/07/2009 15:09

Since the boob debate is still going on, how many of you pg ladies have swapped over to non-wired bras? I wore them with DD and bought a couple before MC (now too small - grr!) but find them unflattering and tent-like. can anyone recommend good ones. Don't feel like it's jinking things to buy new ones because one day I'll be pg for the full nine months. Of course I hope it's this time.

barbie1 · 21/07/2009 15:21

urggghhhh non wired...never!
Although i did have some a few years back from miss selfridge and assessorize..i read on another thread that the website hotmilk is meant to do really pretty but practical bras

barbie1 · 21/07/2009 15:25

hotmilk

Neeko · 21/07/2009 15:28

Apparently wired bras can really damage the breast tissue and impair milk production. Also impossible to find a wired nursing bra.

GracieGirl · 21/07/2009 15:32

Not needed to change bra yet so not really thought about it. Though I imagine I will swap to non wired if/when I make it to a very pregnant stage.

barbie1 · 21/07/2009 15:41

gg not if when!!!!!! neeko you see thats why i need you girls so much, i had no idea about the damage a bra could do!!!

MummyLovesSadie · 21/07/2009 15:44

I wore wired bra's throughout my pregnancy & consequently had massive problems breastfeeding. Dd was hungry, skinny & constantly crying for the first four weeks of her life because I wasn't producing enough milk, once I supplemented breastmilk with formula she was a changed baby. Will definitely be wearing non-wired next time.

Neeko · 21/07/2009 15:48

Well there you go. I wore non-wired and could have left a pint on the neighbours' doorsteps every morning
Gracie Don't think it matters whether your boobs grow or not. Think you're still supposed to swap from bout 12 weeks.
I think I'll go with trusty Bravissimo again as they have a shop in Glasgow and can do a proper fitting.
Spent about £150 on M&S mat/nursing bras with DD but they weren't very supportive. I hadn't discovered Bravissimo then.

Neeko · 21/07/2009 15:49

How many muddy cuddles have you had today MLS PP on in our house now.

barbie1 · 21/07/2009 15:50

swop to unwired from 12 week??? or just swop and wear a clean bra every day from 12 weeks {wink] did you check out hotmilk, some cute things on there...

GracieGirl · 21/07/2009 15:50

Just checked my facebook and some idiot work colleague has just announced my pregnancy for me! shit!! Its a bit hard to hide it from your work colleagues when you work in A&E and I went through there as a patient with my suspected ectopic. People really don't think do they! The comment has been on my wall for 3 hours, I'm really hoping none of my family or friends saw it, it really isn't the way to find out is it! The person who wrote this actually had multiple miscarriages before splitting up with her husband so you'd think she'd know better.

barbie1 · 21/07/2009 15:52

gg thats my worse nightmare too, im checking fb all the time, delete it and ignore any other posters....tell them its your cat/dog /goldfish that is pregnant and not you!
Ps how many weeks on fri are you?

GracieGirl · 21/07/2009 15:53

What should I do now? I'm really not ready to be announcing anything yet. I've deleted the comment from my wall. Shall I just keep quiet and hope no one saw it?

barbie1 · 21/07/2009 15:55

yep its early in the uk, most people havent finished work yet...you should be fine. However email the twit that sent you the message and demand it doesnt happen again...or get her to write 'whoops wrong gracie!'

GracieGirl · 21/07/2009 15:57

Just slightly concerned that amongst my friends on Facebook I have 6 cousins, 2 aunts/uncles and quite a few of DH's family, all of whom don't know. Friends I think I can talk round but family can be a bit of a challenge can't they! I think sit tight and pretend it didn't happen.

Barbie I'll be 11 weeks and 5 days on friday.

MummyLovesSadie · 21/07/2009 16:00

Just say it was someone who didn't know what she was talking about so you deleted it. Or that she had seen an old email about your last pregnancy & thought you were pregnant again. What did the comment say?

Neeko · 21/07/2009 16:01

for you Gracie but as for your family, if they saw it they'll understand later when you're able to explain to them. Perhaps you should block that helpful friend from your facebook?

iggypiggy · 21/07/2009 16:01

gracie how annoying! Hopefully no one will have seen. That would be a nightmare for me too. Althought no-one in RL actually knew when I was...

Neeko · 21/07/2009 16:03

Barbie swap to unwired I did look and they're nice but I'm not a big internet shopper and my nearest shop is 3 hours away

cupcakefairy · 21/07/2009 16:06

Oh no gracie what an insensitive thing for somebody to do! I too would sit tight and pretend it didn't happen (and message the person in question to tell them off!) as barbie says, hardly anyone is on FB during working hours. Also, the way FB is set out now, you have to be friends with both people for the wall post to pop up on the news feed, otherwise they'd only see it if they specifically went to your profile...which is unlikely in those 3 hours.

As for the boob talk, I'm a 34C and quite happy that way! will be very interesting to see what happens! But barbie I concur on the comments about your dh mine is totally obsessed by my boobs too...what is that about??
(Reminds me of the scene in Notting Hill when Julia Roberts asks the same question "Every second person has them" "More than that actually, Meatloaf has a very nice pair." )
