Am back from Italy and have missed you all. There are do many pages to catch up with - will do properly tomorow - but for now:

My holiday was fab, although sadly lacking in mini milk action, but lots of BD action - so am hoping I ov'd during the week away!

Just a quick post as feeling a bit rough. Someone recomended I start using Palmers Cocoa Butter to prevent stretch marks. Used it yesterday and now my skin is peeling off, horrible nasty very itchy manky looking red rash over whole abdomen. Yuk!

GG Mama Mio is the only way to go. I used it when I was pregnant with dd & didn't get a single stretch mark.

Thanks to everyone for the licence to ramble & being so lovely! I was feeling very oh woe me & I hate being self pitying so apologies, altho I know Im allowed too anytime on here & Im so grateful to you all for that! Been good therapy tho I think Am half daying it today to go hairdressers, then off tomorrow for our anniversary, we're getting a new TV delivered in the morning, then popping to our church, a wander round our wedding venue garden, & a drive through Richmond park to our wedding night hotel for dinner, cant wait! Hopefully my OPK will be positive today or tomorrow to really mark it with a bang! (Ooops no pun intended!)

Gracie - your matron sounds lovely That cocoa butter doesn't sound good My mum gave me a huge bottle of bio oil last time round - I never got to open it, but it is hidden in a cupboard waiting for next time.

Well, a mixed weekend - DP more interested in a late film on Friday, both a little too inebriated and tired on Saturday, failed BD attempt Sunday morning and I'd given up hope, but the black basque (which now fits ) did the trick last night. I felt ov pains yesterday afternoon and again this morning, so am hopeful .

ladies, do not attempt the hat pattern. I might be able to knit but I can not count. If this pattern fits your DC I am very sorry because a child should not be shaped like that! I'm knitting up the first one now so I'll correct the pattern as I go along, and translate it from code into long hand so it's legible!

Sophable sorry to hear about the confusing temps too, but try not to worry...sometimes they can just go up and down randomly and it's the general pattern you're looking for so keep going (and yes, as curly says probably keep up the bd!)

sophable remember you are looking for patterns in your cycle. a single temperature means nothing on its own. Have you done the training course on fertility friend. It's very helpful/

Potty training is going quite well. Think we're going to have to take the huge bear chair come potty on holiday with us though. Not exactly practical for whipping out in a lay by.

Neeko - found the ending a bit disappointing though was shocked by George storyline, didn't see that coming although he hasn't had much to do this series. I'm assuming Izzy's died as she's a big Hollywood actress now a la George Clooney leaving ER.. I do miss it, hopefully when its back on in January I'll be watching it breastfeeding new lo [fingers crossed]. Really hope your bd action secures a BFP this month, a Spring baby is lovely .

Gracie - ouch! re: cocoa butter. I use various oils (Neutrogena/Bio oil/Body Shop) as its v. easily absorbed and not itchy at all. Think its your luck if you escape stretch marks, I did last time but got varicous veins instead .

Curly - hope you're tucked up in bed and resting. MS is the pits, I have the vomit stained t-shirt to prove it! It does get easier though although it took to 15 weeks for me for it to pass...

Hi Iggy - doing away thanks , still worrying every day but that will be with me until lo is here. Have my triple blood test on Wed. and fully expect to come back high risk due to age, bleeding and previous mcs. Have already decided not to get amnio or anything diagnostic, what will be will be. We don't get Nuchal scans up here so bloods and 20 week scan is all we can go on..

blue i think I would be the same - worrying every day. Hope blood test results are ok - when will you hear? soon after wed?
