Ever onwards and upwards for all of you lovely ladies

Thanks Barbie Only subtle because i'm not convinced enough to shout it from the rooftops!

barbie1 · 20/07/2009 08:20

yep your mad its the hormones...its gets a lot worse too!

Neeko · 20/07/2009 08:24

quite happy to be certified insane as long as I have a baby at the end of March

MummyLovesSadie · 20/07/2009 08:31

Congrats again Neeko, I'm very excited for you! Perhaps you should do what I did in May & do a test every couple of days until you have run out of them!

Neeko · 20/07/2009 08:38

Funny that. DH must have read your mind (and hopefully not this thread! ) I have 2 tests left and he asked me this morning if I'd be buying more once they are finished. I tried to look at him as if he was mad and said no, BUT if they happen to fall into my trolly...

How are you today? Is the foot sore?
BTW your DH totally looks different to how I imagined him. I thought he's have fair hair but have no idea why! Maybe because you an DD do?

MummyLovesSadie · 20/07/2009 08:46

Och noooo Neeko he is a true Scott with dark hair & blue blue eyes! My foot feels fine thanks.

Funny you should say that about what your dh said, it has reminded me that when I had my bfp & then went & bought 5 more tests from Babymad!

So has it sunk in yet?

Neeko · 20/07/2009 08:51

No. I'm quite happy to forget about it for a few weeks (yeah, right!) My boobs are impressive though and they weren't small to begin with! The do seem to make my comfort-eating tummy look smaller though
Proper healthy eating started yesterday as opposed to the healthy eating followed by chocolate/wine/cakes/crisps/icecream etc that I've been following since March.

MummyLovesSadie · 20/07/2009 08:53

Have you worked out your edd?

barbie1 · 20/07/2009 08:57

arrghhhh, i am having heart pulputations! its been like it for the last two days and then i feel sick after....today ive had it about 3 times already and its starting to freak me out, any ideas before i become demented by using the dreaded google!

Joolsiam · 20/07/2009 08:59
MummyLovesSadie · 20/07/2009 08:59

I used to get them all the time when I was pregnant with dd, I could also hear my pulse when I was laying in bed. It felt like my blood was literally racing through my body.

Neeko · 20/07/2009 08:59

30th March, I think.
The EPU told me after mc to phone them at 7 weeks and they'd have me in at 8wks for a scan. That would be a few days before I go back to work which would be good. DH and I have already agreed if EPU change their policy then we're going to pay for a private scan at 8 weeks. Plannin on keeping a bucket on my head til then!

Neeko · 20/07/2009 09:05

Barbie I had them with DD too. I think it's to do with your body making extra blood. Think you make an extra pint up to 12 weeks.

Jools Some people are idiots. There's no way around it and let's just hope she's not proven wrong. I wouldn't wish a mc on anyone and know you all feel the same. It's just hard when you're so aware of what could go wrong. She's probably just thinking she's done well to keep it to herself for 2 weeks.
Sending you a big hug.

Joolsiam · 20/07/2009 09:09

Oh, and I've just worked out that I'm away at a festival during my next fertile period

Going to crawl into a hole and wallow for a while I think. Is it too early for wine ? !

Neeko · 20/07/2009 09:10

Never too early for wine even if you have it with your cereal. Sorry I can't make you feel better

bluesatinsash · 20/07/2009 09:38

Just a quickie log on at work...

Congratulations Neeko - just knew it would be your month .

Hope the next 8 weeks fly by but we're here to hold your hand through it all. MM, you and me must have a Glasgow meet up and compare bumps later in the year .

Iggy - sorry TEW showed up - damn her. You sound v. positive though which is great.

Jools - sorry you got a BFN this morning, can you not take your DP to the festival with you for some al fresco bd? Change of scenery and all that

barbie - I get palpatations back and forward and am short of breath - just increased blood and metabolism, chill and step away from 'google' .

MLS - how's the tat today?

Right, off to earn my living x

Congrats again Neeko

Neeko · 20/07/2009 09:44

Thanks Blue looks like there's chance I could be watching the next series of Grey's with a bump after all... A Glasgow meet sounds good. I hadn't realised MM was a Scot's lass.
Don't work too hard.

GracieGirl · 20/07/2009 10:11

jools I am usually never one to do lots of sympton spotting but last month I had so many which I think really was a bug as dh had it too. The sickness and giddyness were so akin to ms. Hope your day works out a little better than the morning.x

hi to all.

iggypiggy · 20/07/2009 11:07

hello mermaid ! Is odd - I felt v. sick last month and actually still do feel sick... not sure what that is about - but that was what made me think this might be my month
