This is a thread for those who will be/are TTC with Clomid and those who have successfully conceived with Clomid.

Hey Livvigirl! Congratulations! Thanks for telling us this - it helps when you hear success stories as you can get very down each time AF comes. I've been feeling like I want to give all this up now and just start enjoying myself again without having this constant worry! It's good to know that there is hope though and it will all be worth it in the end!

Hi Lauren, I wasn't on this thread when you were so it's nice to meet you! Wow--twins!! That is wonderful! Did you have much trouble getting pregnant? I am currently on my first round of Clomid and hopefully ovulating right about now! I go in for my day 21 bloods next Monday. Before the Clomid, we tried for three months and apparently I didn't ovulate once. I have PCOS.

It's great to hear from a success story from both you and Livvigirl!

Hi Lauren i've not long been on this thread so i haven't spoken to you before,lovely to chat to you. Twins how wonderful, you must be overjoyed. How long were you on clomid?
I'm on cd17, having bloods done on Friday, although i'm not sure if thats going to be too soon as feel i'm ovulating now....ish. They said to do it Friday though, they know best!!!!
How are you stac14 any news yet?
How you feeling Kimpin? Have you got to go for an appointment at your fertility clinic?

Hey lauren 18 weeks already time has flown by hun, do you know what your having? How are you? Not heard from Claire for ages. I am ok still plodding along 3rd bfn so its back to the waiting game for af so I can start clomid. Think I can safely say its not my month this time.

Hey Stace & Popsy - I'm feeling great - no real symptoms....I took another test this morning becuase I wasn't 'feeling' pregnant, and it was still a strong positive...whew...I have an appt next week to confirm with doc...looking forward to that.
Stace & POpsy- this could be your month...my fingers are crossed for both of you. xx

Yeah, lilew the three of us are pretty close in cycle days. I am on CD 19, popsy 17, and you 14! I hope we are all ovulating! Are you still feeling the lower back pains popsy? The pressure I mentioned earlier where my ovaries are has decreased. I really hope that was because I was ovulating. I noticed a temperature rise this morning which could possibly mean that yesterday was my ovulation date. DH and I didn't do the deed last night because we were so tired (tmi - and I was pretty dry ) so now I am kicking myself that we didn't do it. We did do it three of the four days before that so hopefully that will be enough. I really shouldn't get ahead of myself because I don't even know if I ovulated. I will know for sure on Monday! OK, enough about me...

stac, I hope AF arrives soon so you can start Clomid. I agree on waiting a little more before taking Provera just in case AF gets here soon.

kimpin, thanks for sticking around here and I'm glad to hear that you aren't having any real symptoms. Let us know how your appointment goes next week.

Try not to beat yourself up too much about not doing the deed last night sevans. It's best to try not to worry about these things. Although I know that's easier said than done! It's good that you've done it the other nights - I think that's best anyway as it gives the little baby makers a chance to get there in time for ovulation!

I've heard that it's best not to baby dance every day and to do it every other day instead. Does anyone stick to this rule, or go at it like bunnies every day, or just when you're in the mood?!!

Lilew - my doctor told us to BD the 23, 25, 27, and 29...so every other day. I'm not sure why they tell you that as opposed to everyday. Thinking I was superwoman, I planned on doing it everyday from the 20th - 30th but that didn't work out at all!! I think it's too much work to do it every day! I guess my plan would be to stick to every other day during the window and maybe throw in an extra day here or there. I'm going to try not to worry as much about missing yesterday. Hopefully Sunday and Monday were enough if I did indeed ovulate.

We BD'd every 2nd day, and it worked for us!

Hi sevans. All back pain, cramps & discharge( sorry TMI) pretty much gone now. Think I ov mon or tues. They've told me to have my bloods done Friday, so not sure if anything will show up. Will have to wait and see i suppose.
Off for first session of reflexology tomorrow. Not sure what to expect really, but cantdo any harm I suppose!

I think I'm ovulating woohoo! I can just feel it, plus I have egg-white discharge (TMI )! We've BD'd every other day, and when I knew I was ovulating this morning we had a quickie then too lol....

Glad all your pains have gone now popsy1! I recommend reflexology. I didn't think I'd like it but it's actually really relaxing.

sevans - I think they tell you every other day in order to make the sperm stonger and more of them (or something like that anyway). I guess it makes sense...

hi sevans popsy1... we had been tryin for over 2 years b4 we were put on clomid after they discovered i had pcos and wasnt ovulating, we fell pregnant on our 5th cycle of clomid as i had released 3 eggs the times b4 that i was ovulating each time with 2 eggs but not fslling pregnant... i was only on 50mg clomid when i concieved and was beginning to give up hope but miricles really do happen.. really nice to meet u

Stac really glad ur keepin well, and dont b givin up hope.. ano 18 weeks has really flew in, was at the hosp 2day as they like to see me every 4 weeks to check the babies are growin ok, so all is fine wif them, go 4 my 5 mth scan in a week and a half... dont know wot they are but we r goin 4 a 3d scan about 22 weeks so im def findin out, im that fussy dont like buyin jus white or cream i want to b able to buy colours 4 wot they are..

dont know if this is any use to u ladies but the thing i did differently on my 5th cycle when i concieved was had SI the full week b4 ovulation and the followin week that i was actually ovulating, as the times b4 that my consultant had been tellin me to wait until id had my scan to c if id ovulated and how many eggs i had released so mayb the week b4 ovulation had helped for me...

Got my blood tests back and had a progesterone level of 103! She said anything over 30 wold mean that i ovulated.

So not quite sure what 103 means? I got the impression she didnt want to get my hopes up.

So just a waiting game now.

What was everyone elses progesterone like??

That's great news Jojo1984b! It's that dreaded wait now, but at least you know you ovulated which is fab. I'm not getting my bloods done this cycle as I ovulated on my last cycle. I think I have ovulated though. I'm on CD19 so it feels like I've still got an eternity to wait! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you hun.

Congrats jojo on ovulating! I did my blood test today so hopefully tomorrow I will find out whether I ovulated too.

Im on day 26 now so not long to wait. Fingers crossed for everyone!

hey ladies still no af, trying to get a gp appointment for sometime this week see what I have to do next or if they are going to increase the metformin. Thats great you ov'd jojo not long till you can test hun.

That's not good stac14! I feel for you hun - it must be so frustrating. I hope your gp can help...

I'm not sure if we've BD'd enough this cycle to get pregnant. We were at it like rabbits just before and on the day I ovulated, but haven't had time since then. Why does life have to be so busy?!! xxx

I know how you feel LiLew ther just isnt enough hours in the day!

Think AF is about to turn up , had some gentle period pains this evening and some spotting.

Feel gutted but in also thankfull that my cycles are regular, spot on day 27 every month. I really feel for those of you who have no idea when its coming xxxx

Guess what? I ovulated! The doctor said I had a wonderful ovulation. I am so excited! My level was 33.
