Hi all!
Gilly - redundancy is ok - got my head round it now.
Completely understand how tough you're finding recovery after the 1st IVF attempt. It hit me real hard too - and I had to have a few hedonistic boozin' sessions to cut loose and had a number of heavy chats with dh and a few mates about the baby dream. It was cathartic and helped me and dh agree how many IVFs we were willing to do, I found that helped take the pressure off the 2nd go a bit.
Great you get 2 IVFs from the NHS - to me it is another reminder on how rare succes at the first attempt is. Stick at it babe - there is no reason to give up on the dream as you responded very well to the treatment (better than I did!). The prog injections were ok. I had most done at the hosp - and some by the nurse at my gp, dh learnt how to do them towards the end of the time. I'm not squimish and did the other injections myself but these are a little deeper - but ok, honest. I'll do them again if/when we go for it.
Feel free to ask any qu's. Have you got a timing to start next go?
READY and HERBY:
My ddd was 1 yesterday and I was saying to dh how glad I was last year's July was such rubbish weather (I was one big mum-to-be!) - hope the turn in the weather has helped you.
Hope you enjoy the birth - they can be amazing - (I was one of the lucky ones!)
Rah - your pics took my back - Daisy is soo sweet - CONGRATS again.
Assume you have Lanisoh for your nips? You can as to speak to the lactation specialist at the hospital if you feel it is still not quite right.
Hi and love to everyone else
