thankyou everyne for your lovely messages!

pme i am so sorry af arrived! I'd count af as 2 days ago when u had some spotting and go from that date, or just go for it every other day........ fun fun.

Lemon yeah my dogs lovely thanks bless him as for piccy of dh and i together its funny nothing makes him smile for the camera, so my cousin shouted 'Boobies' which made him chuckle at the right moment! Just had our 1 yr anniversary but been together 15 years this October! How time flies by

ok either going to sleep or play Lara Croft on the wii, or eat loads not quite sure what to do told my grandad my news this morning hes over the moon as bubs due date is the day after his birthday.

nunnie · 18/06/2009 16:32

Lovely jubbly iate, best feeling in the world seeing the heartbeat and your baby for the first time, I got a pic from the EPU when I went I was about 7-8 weeks and there wasn't much to see just a tiny head and body but it was the best pic I ever got cos it was the first time I actually saw her, I didn't cry but I did at my second midwife appointment when I actually heard the heartbeat on stomach monitor, I blubbed like a baby .

iateallthecreameggsyummy · 18/06/2009 16:54

thanks nunnie looking forward to that bit!

Bit angry to say the least right now as my mother decided to announce on my behalf about our bubbs! Grrrrrr to say the least.

So i called her told her to take it of, bit late by then as loads have people have commented! So she got angry for me telling her of and now ive had to tell dh's brother when dh did not want to tell people till we were 12 weeks. Dh will be furious when he gets home and has to make calls to his sister and parents and my mother does not get it!! She took my limelight im really grrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Clwc · 18/06/2009 18:16

When it's my turn, I think I'll try to remember to tell my Mum last, if that's what's going to happen!! Even I'm angry about that, iate. How unfair! At least you had your scan. That was good news to hear
x x x

PistachioLemon · 18/06/2009 19:34

I clearly forgot about that rule when DH asked me to marry him and I said yes, but he wanted to speak to my father first before we announced it. Unable to contain myself I told my Mum after first swearing her to secrecy and hey presto received a congratulations card in the post two days later from some distant cousin.

I now never tell my Mum ANYTHING unless I'm quite sure I want the world to know.

proudestmummyever · 18/06/2009 21:03

Hey guys, I am really sufffering with pain, my mum says sounds like endemetriosis as she had it...really hope not

Will see the dr bout it

Iate, first day I had spotting was actually day 30, then day 33 so...., as to what I go by next mnth??

PistachioLemon · 18/06/2009 21:06

Hey PME, sorry to hear you're suffering. Can you have a nice bath or hot water bottle to ease things? Definitely go to the doctor's if you think you might have endometriosis. Hope you feel better soon.

Re counting, I always thought that the first day of full flow is CD1 and if you have spotting before that it gets counted in the previous cycle, but I suppose as long as you are consistent it doesn't really matter.

OP posts:
proudestmummyever · 18/06/2009 21:11

Yeah thts true bout the consistency thing. Will just do it as much as possible, can't do anymore then

Yeah have suspected for a while I have endemetriosis...it is excruciating pain, like contractions, get it first few days of period, but when I was on the pill it stopped the pain, bt nw the pain is just unbearable....so defo gonna get checked out, my mum says hers really gt bad around my age (28), she ended up with a full hysterectomy at age 35 as it was soo bad, drugs didn't help, I am worried as as well as making period irregular it can affect fertility

Any1 else have ths?

xx

proudestmummyever · 18/06/2009 21:13

Oh yeah PL my dad gaveme a hotwater bottle earlier and helped, I am taking strong co-codamol tonight, as my Sister takes these and had some with her earlier. but just bn taking Ibuprofen for pain, which helps for like an hour xx

Clwc · 18/06/2009 23:32

pme, try not to worry about having to go for a hysterectomy, if you do in fact have endometriosis. (The chances of you having endo are smaller, considering that you had children at quite a young age.) These days, there are many other options to go for first, e.g. laser surgery to remove the womb lining, bringing on and then reversing menopause, etc, etc. I'm not a fertility doctor, but my sister-in-law has endo. They haven't had a child yet because of marital problems during the time when they should have been at it like bunnies (Eww! That's my brother I'm talking about! Bleurgh!). Basically, it is far more treatable now, in comparison to when your Mum suffered with it. Breathe.

You seem to have an addictive personality: Don't get addicted to Codeine (co-codamol/solpadeine), please. Pretty please. With a cherry on top.

How are you now, iate? Are things a bit calmer in the Yummy household?

iateallthecreameggsyummy · 19/06/2009 07:50

Morning all! How is everyone today?

PME i am sorry your not feeling well an hope its not endometriosis, perhaps you should ask the Dr for tests etc before you start taking too many pain killers. Although im not in the pain you are so would not understand how agonising it is.

Things are ok this end, dh was very understanding about what mother had done, was not suprised, and so called his family after i'd already done so, explaining the circs who were great! So now the cats out the bag offically, lots of 'Oh's' from people lol.

OracleInaCoracle · 19/06/2009 09:12

iate, dont blame you for being cross, i would have been fuming!

pme, sounds like a trip to the gp would be a good idea. you count your period from the first day of proper flow, so it will be CD33.

hope everyone is ok!

CD33 here. no sign of period at all. nowt, zip, nada. no spotting, no cramps, nowt. did another test (am keeping cb in business) and BFN. have to call gp if no period by mon because of my history. arrrrrgggggghhhhh

PistachioLemon · 19/06/2009 09:58

Aw Lissie, I hope you get a nice BFP or horrible AF by Monday then. Any plans for the weekend?

OP posts:
Clwc · 19/06/2009 10:02

No soptting this morning either. I'm getting confuddled.

Clwc · 19/06/2009 10:03

spotting. D'oh.

OracleInaCoracle · 19/06/2009 10:03

going to gym tomorrow and local funday on sunday, then to mils for lunch. you?

PistachioLemon · 19/06/2009 10:11

Going for a picnic on Sunday with my sister and finishing off the decorating probably on Saturday (am doing dining room).

I was over the moon yesterday as I got a second line on an OPK for the first time ever. I don't know if you remember that I gave up on them after about three days but I have this drawer stuffed full of them so I thought I'd give it a go.

Anyhow, peed, dipped, left for five minutes, forgot about it, came back half an hour ago and there was a definite second line. I know it's just an OPK but I was so pleased - it was like I had achieved something! I'm pathetic aren't I.

Clwc - soptting sounds quite exotic, I think I'd prefer to have that than spotting!

OP posts:
PistachioLemon · 19/06/2009 10:12

not half an hour ago (aarrghhh), half an hour later

OP posts:
Clwc · 19/06/2009 10:18

Lol PL. Well, I don't have either at the moment.

ReneRusso · 19/06/2009 10:23

Hi everyone
what day are you clwc? Have you tested at all?
good for you Pistachio - hope your weekend's got plenty of time for bonking amid all that decorating
Lissie poor you sounds very frustrating
pme hope you are you feeling better today

Clwc · 19/06/2009 10:32

Hi Rene,

I'm about CD40/41. I haven't tested today. I'll wait a few more days to test again.

How are you?

ReneRusso · 19/06/2009 10:40

Well done clwc - very restrained, you are an example to us all.
I'm ok(ish) - bored, bit depressed, should be tidying and cleaning house in case anyone wants to buy it. Have not even cleared away breakfast things yet.

iateallthecreameggsyummy · 19/06/2009 10:40

lemon well done on the 2nd line! Ive never used those what do they do? Sounds like you have a lovely weekend ahead of you! I invited myself to twins house for sunday lunch im taking 2 pork joints yummy!!

Lissie just an idea but why not use a test other than clearblue - do you mean your using cb digital each time??

Lissie and clwc its looking more hopeful each day for you no spotting etc! What days you planning on testing if no af this weekend?

pme - how are you this morning?? Hope your feeling a bit better! x

Clwc · 19/06/2009 10:49

I'm not sure about 'restrained', although it's nice to think I'm setting an example I just don't want to see that heart-breaking single line again until I'm feeling a bit stronger.

If I don't come on this weekend, then I'll try to remember to test early next week. ATM, if I don't remember to test with the first wee, then I leave it until the next day.

iateallthecreameggsyummy · 19/06/2009 10:55

that sounds like a very sensible plan!
