So, STEP AWAY ladies!

Hi! Thanks for welcome.

I'm trying NOT to test today. My period is due today and I'm feeling really down, which usually means it's about to arrive. But of course, I'm feeling twitchy.

I really dislike early testing as the last time I thought I might be pregnant, I did a test on the day I was due, which said I was. Then I did one a few days later which said I wasn't, and then my period came two weeks late, so officially a miscarriage, but I'd rather have not known at all. I told DH I was pregnant and then had to backpeddle and it wasn't very nice!

I though you guys might help me not to rush to the shops and buy a test!

I have one 17 month-old DD BTW. She's not getting an awful lot of attention today as I'm preoccupied and keep wandering off to fold laundry.

I'm usually 28 days and was due last thurs so im a week late tomorrow

hiya, well firstly well done for waiting this long to test! the 2 week wait is over, when did you want to test and how regular is your cycle??

Your previous pregnancy sounds like a chemical pregnancy to me as it was bfn within a few days but i might be totaly wrong. To me cp and mc is both the same, its a loss and im sorry for you, i recently had a mc so i understand how you feel. Im now 8+4 and not leaving this thread till i get pushed of, everyone is to friendly!!

Dont worry about your dd, im sure she wil be fine today perhaps cuddle up and watch tv together later or read a book? I dont have any dc so not sure what to suggest! lol

Angel if you tested yesterday dont tests again today lovvie, use the first pee of the day tommorrow at the earliest. Good luck and keep us posted.

Welcome LaTrucha, I agree its best not to test if you can help it, because I think its quite common for pregnancies to end very early and its better not to know. Are you very regular? Try to wait a couple of days if you can.

how regular are you normally and what CD are you clwc?

Thanks Iateallthecremeeggsyummy - I thought of it as a CP too, but GP calls it a MC. It would have been fine if I had not tested! Apart from the haywire hormones, of course.

What do you guys count as early testing?

Lucy, I think I'm CD38-39. I'm not regular these days. Mind you, I don't think I really have been since puberty. I'll have a few regular months just as I'm falling in love, then it goes back to irregular once I've settled. Lol.

used to be bang on 30 daysbut was late last month and went to CD33, perhaps clomid is messing with mother nature

I think I started spotting. Will confirm later.

I have had 5 preg's, 3 resulting in mc sadly, one "straightforward" mc, the other 2 mmc

Well i feel a little down in the dumps now as i have just been talking to a friend and she was telling me about this bug going round so much so she thought she was pg because she was late for af and feeling yuk, she went to docs and confirmed she wasn't pg she doesnt want anymore children anyway so she was relieved. So i am guessing that is whats happening with me, because i think a test would be positive by now.
I hope i am pg not not holding out for much hope now i heard that!!!! Good luck pme did you test today?

I had the same sort of thing angelfifi - a virus that exactly mimicked early pregnancy. I was convinced I was pg even though it was scarcely possible. Not nice.

I just want af to come now so we can get on with next month!!
