Hi Ladies

Hope your all keeping well and staying away from those tests till AF is due and then get the BFP you've been waiting for.

I had my first scan today - according to my dates I'm 12 weeks 3 days but the sonographer has dated me at 13 weeks and due date is now the 13 Jan. I cried when I saw the hearbeat as it was so different to last time but very strong and extremely active (wouldn't stay still for a photo - obviously takes after DH).

Hi guys! Great news Liskey!!
No I didn't find out the sex but I think it's a girl.
My bump is massive - people keep asking me when I'm due and I have to say November!!!
Don't know how to post pictures but will try and work it out.
Look after yourselves

ReneRusso · 10/07/2009 10:56

Hi, hope everyone is well. I got a smile on the OPK last night so I should have a bonkfest starting tonight, but DH and I barely on speaking terms. He has been travelling all week and is so tired and stressed and crotchety. Any advice? Oysters for dinner?

Clwc · 11/07/2009 01:27

Lol, Rene. Men don't usually take much persuading when it comes to night-time activities. I hope you figure something out.

pme So sorry. Wish there was more I could say/do. xxx

iate Well done with the smoking. I won't be lecturing you either, because cigs are my main vice besides chocolate (I only drink on Fridays, usually and I never got involved with drugs). We can't all be perfect! I have just started going to a gym though. Baby steps

It's way past bed time now. Good night all. xx xx xx

Liskey · 11/07/2009 14:13

Hi

No I'm not showing yet - but I'm bursting out of my swimming costume. I went to get a nwe bra on Thursday after my scan (thought it was safe then) and the lady in M&S wouldn't let me wear my old one out! I've gone from a 34B to a 38D - I'm in shock - I knew they'd change but this much and so fast! I had a scan done privately today to check nuchal fold - very active - forgot to ask for photos on disk though so can't post them - sorry.

Rene - maybe a back rub/neck massage to destress him - you never know where it might lead to

Angel beign ill can defintely lead to ovulation being delayed - i had flu in January and it messed up my cycle.

Sorry to hear that pme. Nunnie any further signs?

nunnie · 13/07/2009 10:42

Hello ladies, went camping over the weekend and lasted 3 hrs, I had the mother of all stomach bugs, so not really thought about anything else till today.

Symptoms same as above.

Also metallic taste in mouth

However cramps are here now so I am guessing the witch is coming and my body is just messing with my head as usual.
I only have one test and can't afford anymore this month, so won't be testing again for a while. On CD 29 of a 25-29 day cycle, but I have had a 30 dayer before so not holding my breath this month, the cramps are quite painful so must be AF.

Angelfifi · 13/07/2009 11:27

Oh no nunnie hope af stays away for you.
Well i'm feeling a bit low today i have just seen a friend that is due in 2 weeks time and we were suppose to be pg together until i mc'ed. So just kept thinking i would be soon to have my little one but hence not to be, and not even pg yet Grrrrr.....
I don't even know when i ov'ed this month as we had a bad stomach bug when i was suppose to ov so not sure if i did then or was delayed, so havent got a clue whats happening with my cycle this month. I don't even know what cd i am on. I think i will give it 3 weeks to do a test if no sign of af, although i'm not giving out much hope!
Fingers crossed nunnie your symptoms sound good, lets hope its your month!

nunnie · 13/07/2009 11:33

Oh Angelfifi hope you get the BFP soon you sound so low! Bloomin stomach bugs I am fed up with mine now!
Not always a bad thing not to know what CD you are on hun, sometimes it eases the tension to just take each day as it comes.

Hope AF comes soon cos these cramps are PAINFUL!

Angelfifi · 13/07/2009 11:50

Hows pme these days, is jack ok?

OracleInaCoracle · 13/07/2009 17:02

hello ladies, sorry ive not been about. have been very down and pessimistic and didnt want to pass onb my bad news. hope everyone is ok. on CD24 today and getting my craving!

lucygrif · 13/07/2009 17:03

morning all

back on here for some support through the 2ww, CD24 today, going on holiday on CD34 (or CD3 if AF shows up) no symptoms whatsoever so far and I have a sneaky HPT in the cupboard to take next sun/mon naughty girl!! have really made an effort this month with BDing - think DP is getting pissed off now with BFNs so he keeps harrassing me until I give in!! so far, pretty much every day since day 5!! Fingers crossed!!

OracleInaCoracle · 13/07/2009 17:07

hi lucy. where are you going on hol?

lucygrif · 13/07/2009 17:11

oooh forgot to mention we are seeing an IVF/IUI consultant on Monday - for which we have to go private (due to DS) and they can't give us an exact price for this but will be between £100 and £250 plus any investigations they do at that time!!

lucygrif · 13/07/2009 17:17

EGYPT!! can't wait, was a last minute thing

OracleInaCoracle · 13/07/2009 17:25

exciting about cons. we only have 1 month of clomid left after this month, seeing cons in sept and going to discuss egg sharing, its really our only option, responded well to stims but cant afford private ivf without sharing.

lucygrif · 13/07/2009 17:29

what exactly is egg sharing? do you mean donor? is it much cheaper?

OracleInaCoracle · 13/07/2009 17:44

yep, the clinic donates my eggs to a woman who has none of her own (that are usable)(early menopause/cancer/chromosone issues) a cycle will cost about £400 instead of £5000. the clinic absorbs most of the cost. as well as being cheaper i think it would be a good thing to do. a friend of dh's dp has gone through menopause at just 28 and needs egg donation to concieve. i hope i can help someone like them. after all, biology doesnt make you a parent!

Joycey29 · 13/07/2009 19:41

HI Lissie, it's a fab idea! My friend has done it twice and now has two sons. She says it is the best way as you feel you are helping other people and it's so much cheaper. I think it's a great idea and you are given the opportunity to know if the other couple are successful in case you are interested.
Good luck with clomid but if not do give this a go.
PS Hows your sister??

OracleInaCoracle · 13/07/2009 20:20

thanks joycey, its still quite a lengthy process. we have to undergo counselling etc but im lucky to have this option! lilsis is ok, moving up to newcastle, which is pants but its for a new job which is great! how are you?

nunnie · 14/07/2009 08:20

Looks like I am out again light AF this morning which I am sure will become heavier as the day progresses Oh well more bonking madness to follow and I have had my new zestica lube delivered so roll on next week

Joycey29 · 14/07/2009 09:06

HI Lissie - all well here - bumnp getting bigger by the day! Glad sis has found a new challenge but what a pain to be so far away!
