Still no AF - not even a vague sign of the witchy one.. am CD 31 and before the MC my longest ever cycle was 32 days - which was once and I was v. hormonal by CD31 - which am not today 1st AF after the MC was after 35 days... so maybe this will be a 35 day cycle too?! So confusing!!

Well I have just been to the docs to ask for strong anti-histamines incase allergies play up on holiday, and first thing she said when I walked through the door?
"So how many weeks pregnant are you now?"

I told her I'd miscarried and then she was like "oh yes, if I scroll down it does say missed miscarriage." !! At least she did say sorry but meh.

Hi iggy hope your weekend in the country was lovely confusing about af but sure she will show up eventually. Yes got lots of lovely holiday things thanks getting quite excited now!

LBM what a lovely post. I have realised the last few weeks that mc does totally make you see life differently and start to appreciate everything you do have... it sounds cheesy but every night I give my DH an extra massie cuddle cos I am so grateful to have him and know that we will always have each other even if there are no DC... if your lost angel is doing the same for you and your family then that is lovely.

Morning all - just checking in quickly so you don't think I've gone awol work has suddenly gone mad and I have no time to do a massive post to everyone so will try to pop back later.

No news from me really - was quite a pleasant weekend and I'm in the middle of a fruitless 2WW with absolutely no expectation that AF will stay away unless this is an immaculate conception !! Just focussing on health / fitness / weight loss etc. After a month of strict dieting, the scales have finally moved a whole 1 lb this morning, so hopefully they'll keep moving now I feel thinner though and plan to purchase some sexy undies to take into battle in around 2.5 weeks time

hello all!

My pain got me up at midnight, 2am and 5:20 am last night, at this rate I'll be needing new carpets as I'm wearing them out pacing round my house. At least I got to chat to Barbie at 5:30am this morning, she's pulling another sickie to get some rest. I've got an appointment with the GP on wednesday but otherwise no tests. The EPAU don't seem to worry much about missed miscarriages and now they know I'm not an ectopic they don't think I need another scan till 12 weeks unless I start bleeding. I'm still waiting to hear anything about the referral my GP put in a week ago, but thats for a scan at 9 weeks and he wasn't sure if I'd get one or not. I think the best thing is to wait till 7 weeks and get a private one. I can't carry a dead fetus again for 3 weeks without knowing until 10 weeks, and then they just argued with me about my dates and said it must be a 6 week fetus. My husband had been away completely and we hadn't had sex since the conception, but they just think you're stupid don't they. They scanned again at 11 weeks and seemed surprised that it was still dead. Anyway think positive Gracie, everything might be ok this time.

Neeko I think you're going to have a hard time with the midwives if you get a BFP this month, your cycle will confuse them lots! Its a good thing you know what you're up to though.

Got back from Rome yesterday evening, had an amazing time, had temps of 30 degrees every day!

hi all, i just heard back from the docs, my hgc levels are 6500 and something...putting me at 4 weeks and a few days which is where i think i should be having ovlated later than normal also explains the lack of image on the scan, too early by far. I have to hang on until next sunday and have repeat test to see if the levels climb. The doctor told me to relax about the back and take some panadol!

barbie - my heart is in my mouth for you honey, the early weeks are just torture, plain and simple. FWIW I have never had sore boobs, they just grow slightly then nothing. Have Af pains from weeks 5 - 9 and constant backache. Really hope your docs appoint. can give you some comfort in the hell that is early post-mc pg..

moon - so sorry you had to share a ward with pg ladies . I thought our hospital was bad enough having the gynae and post-natal wards share a lift! (I shared said lift going to Theatre with a Mum going home with her new DS ). I felt like you after 2nd mc, just wanted to take a break for 6 months, but mother nature is very cunning and we only took one month off in the end. You have to do what feels right for you and your DP x

So I have donated all the handidown maternity wear, kiddies bedding etc to charity; I'm in the process of turning the nursery into a studio for my dress making habit; I'm applying for a promotion and a volunteering challenge and generally making having a baby as inconvenient as possible!

if only I had the money to book a luxury ski trip to Canada in 8 or so months...reckon that would do it

Aw Gracie cant believe you dont get regular scans as a nurse, if nowt else. Def go private if only option. Had same crap with dates on no1, the rest were all mmc so know what you mean about date doubting (like we dont actually know?!?). Hope you saw what I said tho? At 5w each PG, like clockwork, my tummy would bloat like Im 6m pg & bowels had a mind of their own, mine subsided after 7w, I do hope yours does too!

Ooh you ladies been busy! My OPK today barely had the 2nd line?! Cant believe it was so dark 4 days in a row??!

Hoping I don't think we do keep our sanity! I like your idea of sods law! It worked for me the first time I got pregnant, I went to Costco and bought a crate of about 200 bottles of Smirnoff Ice, then got a BFP a week later before I'd had chance to drink even one bottle!

4ever hello! Yes I definately looked 6 months pregnant yesterday (I'm a size 8 normally so it looked quite obvious!!) My DH was quite horrified when he got home . Thank you for your reassurance, its just so hard not to associate abdomen pain with something worse.
