It's the top one of this page bit pricey though! I keep seeing the second book on that page (Taking Charge of your Fertlity) praised on MN too but haven't read it myself. It's probably a much gentler intro to it all!

We also have this one which is much easier to use but doesn't have all the extra stuff like return of fertility after childbirth, miscarriage etc.

So funny. I was looking at the second one on Amazon 2 mins ago. Not sure i could justify the 1st one as DH is seriously considering the snip after family is complete - ouch! Thanks for the links though. You seem really thoughtful
No sign of DH yet? Mine came home today and is now watching our local team play footie on tv. He's a big fan and they were promoted last week but he missed it due to business trip. Felt really sorry for him at the time and the distraction now is allowing me to feed my MN addiction!

Good morning, it's gorgeous up here today so I tried on my maternity cossy (had to squeeze into it ), and I'm taking ds swimming later. He's so excited because I haven't been able to take him for ages because of my back, but as he quite rightly pointed out, the lady on the front of my pregnancy book is swimming so why can't I? So I shall just bite the bullet and go, quite looking forward to it actually.
What's everyone else up to today? Anyone testing?

Just getting up after a 12 hour sleep!!! I was working from 8am to nearly 10pm yesterday so collapsed when I got home. I was lurking when I could to check on Jools. I'm glad yesterday was okay honey and hopefully things will move onwards and upwards from here

Thanks Curly and MLS. DH has just told me to get on Mumsnet cos I keep crying and he doesn't quite know what to do with me. I'm scared to death. I don't think I'm strong enough to cope with another miscarriage.
EDD will be 7th Feb I think, but actually can't think straight at the minute so could be anytime. LMP was 4th May, does that sound about right?

Mine was 28th April & I think I'm 2nd Feb.

Gracie i am sooooo pleased for you! Know exactly what you mean when you say you're not sure if you're ready, i was the same, and my happiness was soon replaced with fear. But please please remember this is a different pregnancy, there is no reason why this one should end up the same way, i had to give myself some serious talkings to as i was stressing myself out - which GG is not good for your bean! Sending you a big hug and my shoulder to cry on if needed, but most of all lots of sticky thoughts

Thanks Vjay, Curly, iggy MLS and Moon for all your support. How do people who aren't on Mumsnet manage??? I'm trying to stay calm. Just about to go out to a BBQ with a load of people who won't be finding out just yet, so I'm going to do an impression of normal and see if I can convince them and myself!!

I feel really bad that me and MrsKate were both going to get pregnant on her honeymoon. MrsKate I really hope next month will be your month, we were a month apart last time so that would make sense wouldn't it.

I managed to get myself a nuchal scan for today, it was an hour and a halfs drive from where we live, my appointment was 11.40, the consultant was a lovely man. I was his last patient of the day and he really was very thorough, even showing me blood flow through the umbilical cord. I was in with him for over an hour! Not all of this was scanning time, but he took blood to send off and he discussed the possible outcome. I wont get the full results till Tuesday evening by email, then in writing couple of days after, but he said everything looked fine, nasal bone present etc.
He gave me eight photos.

Vjay ive taken up swimming once a week. I go with some cousins who motivate me when i feel lazy, but its at a good time, saturday afternoon, but then i spoil it by eating naughty stuff after, like today we went to have tea and scones at a tea shop

You are all wonderful!! My head is firmly in the sand after spending all evening pretending everything is normal. I'm on 13 hour shifts at work tomorrow and monday but will remember to drink plenty of fluids and eat.
