CupCakeFairy I certainly don't look much like that after a nightshift - you ask MrsKate! If you are on facebook there's plenty of more normal looking pictures of me on there. Only one more waking up time to miss out (tomorrow) then you can do your test (saturday).

Mermaid yeah someone thinks me running around graveyards is healthy!! My family just think its weird. It is quite interesting though, and does stop me worrying about that other thing I'm not thinking about.

Bakingqueen all this counting of days and BD'ing at inconvenient times will all be worth it in the end.

Iggy if anything the symptoms I got before my BFP were nothing. I'd felt all over the place hormonally for months and then felt nothing.

Hope yuu are reassured now, lower back ache v v normal in early PG, and that she is deluded & very wrong. How dare she worry you like that... DH sounds so sweet bless him, sit back & enjoy being pampered. You could use the backache as an excuse at work to do the absolute minimal amount, no lifting, no standing, many breaks, leaving early, starting late etc?

Morning Mermaid!!! Yea the concert was amaaaazzing! Naturally 7 are a vocal harmony group from NY and make all the music with their mouths too, just jaw droppingly good, everything from gospel to rock to soul to hip hop - def recommend, check them on youtube or somwhere... Started worrying about whether enough BD?! Sure I actually ovulated on tues evening straight after bd cos had the pains, so hopefully caught in time. I think any bd now maybe horse/stable/bolted scenario.. . Im really rooting for you on sat sweetie, im full of as much anticipation for you as I am for me!

When we went to see Daniel Bedingfield live (yes I'm a fan ) he sang and beat-boxed at the same time which was sooo cool

Blue are you 12 weeks now?

Well, my temp dropped this morning and it made me so upset that I can't imagine what a BFN might do. Eek. DH thinks there could still be a chance and it's just cos I took it a bit earlier than usual (we were woken at 5.30am by some ridiculously jubilant seagulls right outside our window.)

Afternoon All,

The day has dawned, my 12 week dating scan was this morning (supersticious me keeping it to myself ) and baby has obviously had a growth spurt as he is measuring 12+6 putting me one full week ahead . Not too worried as I can debate my dates at 32 weeks as I get a scan then due to having section with DS. I don't want them inducing me prematurely so will be explaining all about my OPKs and military operation bd!!

I'm being positive and brave and going to graduate myself to the big comfy chin warming pants section - oh they are indeed comfy . Told more friend's today and have been feeling very teary and wiped out by the emotion of getting this far!

I read/heard somewhere that dating scans are made up from 1000000s of womens stats and all collated together to get the average of what a small bean should be doing. thats a wee bit vague in my memory though so may not be totally correct.

Well girls, AF well and truly got me a few hours ago am really gutted and trying not to cry at work...listening to the High School Musical soundtrack kind of helps!

Trying very hard to focus on the positives-
-My cycle has regulated itself
-I can enjoy all the French cheese and wine I want next week
-DH and I can enjoy some guilt-free holiday bd (which I would have been paranoid about if I knew there was a bean in there)
-By the time we get back it will pretty much be ov time again
-If next month is successful, baby would be due pretty much exactly a year after miscarriage

see, I am trying...
Still really really hopeful for you iggy and mermaid I'll be here on Saturday refreshing!

hello ladies, just to let you know i am back home now so you don't worry. i have never had such a traumatic experience in my life, it was horredndous. tmi coming up.... i started bleeding very heavily in the night on tues, clots and blood gushing out everywhere, so went into hospital earlier than planned. was there from 6am til midnight. i had 2 different doctors on 2 shifts removing everything from inside, laying on the bed crying with a mixture of pain and grief, soaking all the giant pads on the bed. it was horrible. i'd never wish that on anyone. they put me on a drip as they wouldnt let me eat or drink all day in case i had to go into surgery. finally let me out just after 11pm, after my full blood count was just about ok as i had lost a lot of blood, i had to beg to go home, i just didn't want to spend another moment there.

phew its all off my chest now i have been given a doctors note for 2 weeks, dp took it into work today for me, they have been really good and said if i need more than 2 weeks then i just have to say.

Oh gosh moon that almost made me cry reading that, you poor poor thing. That sounds much worse than when I went in (I was there 12 hours, horrendous pain but not gushing blood and stuff like you just described) I'm so sorry

After my medical management my Mum gave us loads of steak as a gift instead of flowers! She was obsessed about me upping my iron intake after everything...so get your dp to go buy some hope you are as ok as can be. Well done for getting through it, seriously.

Moon - how horrid It sounds very similar to my natural mc in November - absolutely terrifying, so a good thing you were in hospital.

I second the comment about iron levels - it took 2 months of exhaustion before I worked out what the problem was - turns out A&E had sent a letter to my GP, telling her to prescribe iron tablets but the letter had been ignored !

just makes me realise how lucky i was 1st time round. i know lucky and mc dont even go together in the same sentence, but i had minimal bleeding and pain, everything came out naturally, it wasn't any worse than a period.

i have iron tablets for the next week or so to help with the blood loss and yes dp is looking at it as a great excuse for loads of meat! i'm not usually a big meat eater, but as he is cooking i am eating whatever is on offer!

i don't feel too bad, i am ok in myself, just very sore and i am starving from not eating yesterday.
