Sorry to rain on your DH's parade 4ever but actually you're less likely to get pg if you bd too much... I know, ridiculous...but the little swimmers don't have enough time to replenish otherwise!
The month I got pg we'd only bd'd every other day throughout my fertile phase... hoping that will do the trick again this time as that's all we've done!

iggypiggy · 03/06/2009 16:04

cupcake is that true because I read this article here

and they seem to think it doesn't matter - so we tried to BD everyday in Feb and that is the month I got PG...

iggypiggy · 03/06/2009 16:06

ooh should have said - is the bit that says 'have frequent sex' as a heading - about two thrids of the way down the page?

4everhopeful · 03/06/2009 16:19

Fab link Iggy! Thanks cupcake too! TBH never really went out of our way with the other 4, it just happened, no plans, temps or poas, so this is all new. I know that gourmet lovin has alot to do with it tho . The reality of bd morn & night not so realistic as we get up at 5.40am! However will def go for it as much as poss. The Deanna plan talked about a 1 day break in between, but not sure cos wouldnt wanna miss anything!! I think theres no steadfast rules, but if we do a bit of all the advice out there and I poas I'll be quite hopeful!!!

Anyway lovely ladies, am offski, been at work since 7am & feeling shattered! Have a nice evening - will look forward to reading the goss tomorrow! xx

cupcakefairy · 03/06/2009 16:24

iggy you managed bd every day in Feb?? Woah, I'm impressed! To be honest I don't know the statistics but that is what my NFP book tells me is the best way to conceive... there is so much conflicting advice out there though!
Night 4ever, catch you tomorrow
Glad the appointment went ok jools, that's so good you had a lovely midwife assistant...it always makes such a difference when someone is nice. There was one doctor at my epu who always called me 'my lovely' ...a very Welsh thing to do anyway but I'll always remember her as being the nicest person who treated me during the mc.

iggypiggy · 03/06/2009 16:50

To be honest - we just thought what harm can it do to try that for a month agree about conflicting advice... Don't think I want to do it again tho!

Am kind of thinking quality rather than quantity might be the way forward

iggypiggy · 03/06/2009 16:50

Cupcake also - feb is a short month - we called it F**king February

Curlywurleelittlepants · 03/06/2009 17:22

lol iggy, I might aim for a "Jumpin July" instead

AF is definitely on the way. I was in a fab mood till lunchtime and now I'm totally peed off over nothing

barbie1 · 03/06/2009 17:35

hello

Dh is away so i have the next few hours to myself until bed time so come and talk!

Settled down to dinner last night and my tooth broke in half! i had a root canel a few years back and had the tooth filled but the tooth just fell away leaving part of it stabbing my gum! ouch....was planning on talking to you all last night about boobies and mini milks but i missed it all due to spending the entire evening trying to get an emergency dentist Failed last night but have been today...a lovely irish man who voice managed to cure even the most nervoue of patients (me) swoon.....
Until the f**ker told me that i need a crown at the cost of nearly £700 and a few more bits and pieces that he noticed that i need doing
On the plus side it means i havent eaten in nearly 36 hours...fab diet!

Still no af for me, second test yesterday proved negative so dont know what is going on? really thinking of pressing my doctor for clomid, what do you think?

jools i was in the gym last night doing sit up and i kept thinking of you! i was thinking that i had done a jools work out, one that you would be proud of and how nice it would be if i knew you in rl to go to the gym with you hope you poorly tummy/bottom is better! and also that you are feeling more happy.

curlee any signs of af for you? prehapes im waiting for yours to arrive to be cycle buds again? or prehapes we are going to get a bfp in a few days?

Im going to post this now to see if any of you are on line......

Neeko · 03/06/2009 17:41

I'm here Barbie What does clomid do?

barbie1 · 03/06/2009 17:42

anyone....barbie arranges the sofa to get more comfortable while waiting....wonders off to get some mini milks and grapefruit juice ready and growls that the time difference means i miss you all the time on line grrrrrrr

barbie1 · 03/06/2009 17:43

ha ha neeko is here!!!!! yippppeeeee

Neeko · 03/06/2009 17:44

I'm pleased you're here. I miss chatting with you since we both went back to the hell hole we call work. Only have 15 mins though as have to cook the tea

barbie1 · 03/06/2009 17:45

clomid is a fertility drug which helps to kick start your body...i think i need it as my cycle still isnt right 8 months on. Nicole richie took it as her thinness caused her periods to stop, now look two babies!!!

Neeko · 03/06/2009 17:48

Oh ok. Definitely sounds worth it then. What's the side effects? 6992 The numbers are a message from my DD!

Curlywurleelittlepants · 03/06/2009 17:51

Hey Barbie my cycle buddy Hope AF doesn't come for you. Is this your longest cycle yet? I haven't tested yet (despite that minx mermaid trying to tempt me) but my opk lines are getting fainter. I know you are not meant to use OPKs as a pregnancy test, but a day before AF, I would expect a proper line if I was up the duff

What are we having for tea Neeko

barbie1 · 03/06/2009 17:53

sorry talking to family on the skype! back in a min

Neeko · 03/06/2009 17:54

Vegetable risotto. Not very exciting but I'm trying to up our fruit and veg intake.
It's not over til AF arrives, but you know that already.

barbie1 · 03/06/2009 17:58

Curly thank God tomorrow is Thursday and we can all find out about you from a PROPER TEST! hope af stays away even though you're convinced she's a-knocking.
