it was horrid VJ as i couldn't see him for an extra night, he was in Somerset and we live in Cornwall. We had already been aprt 18 nights! We literally caught this egg the day he left, on cd 13. so unexpected!!!!!

VJaybigpants · 22/04/2009 14:09

How awful having not seen him for so long and looking forward to it then him being delayed further, but it has so worked out well in the end hey!

Joolsiam · 22/04/2009 14:09

Not in EPU - just trying to stop obsessing and get working

Got brown gunk again. EPU won't see me before 6 weeks (Sunday) and I go on holiday on Monday. Tried the private clinic in town and they won't do anything before 6 weeks either.

Don't know what to do - don't think there is anything I can do other than wait

ScorpiowithabigS · 22/04/2009 14:11

Jools lets hope this is bean nesting in FWIW private clinic here wont do before 6 weeks either.

VJaybigpants · 22/04/2009 14:12

jools brown gunk is better than red gunk! I had a lot of brown stuff this time round, doctors told me it was old blood, so all you can do it take it easy. Still holdng your hand here xxxxx

kate030284 · 22/04/2009 14:14

VJaybigpants · 22/04/2009 14:33

ScorpiowithabigS · 22/04/2009 18:15

GP tomorrow for scan begging. Wish me luck!

GracieGirl · 22/04/2009 20:59

Jools big hug, sorry you're having a worrying time. You so deserve a trouble free pregnancy. Will they do a scan on sunday for you?
Scorpio - good luck with the scan begging. Its so unfair that its so hard to get extra scans, it should be made easier for us who have had miscarriages before.

Neeko · 22/04/2009 21:38

Hi everyone. just wanted to pop in and say I'm thinking of you all. I'll do a more detailed posting soon. Been very emotional the past few days and crying for no apparent reason (other than the usual). Hope you're all ok. Jools My hand is still available!

littlebellsmum · 22/04/2009 22:12

Jools - there's another hand here if you need it.
Sorry all, another sneaky, quick post. Hope the sunny day has rasied everyones moods!!

doozerhead · 22/04/2009 23:34

Hi all,
sorry just a quick post from me too - am in need of some zzzzz's!
Jools, really hope you're doing ok.
Scorpio - good luck with your gp!
Barbie - yep, and i got another BFN... still early days I suppose but not too optimistic this month as i don't really seem to have any symptoms. Glad to hear you're feeling more relaxed - hope you have a lovely time with your friend.
Night night all xxx

Joolsiam · 23/04/2009 07:02

Hi

Still squeezing those hands, but hope is fading I'm afraid - woke up to ...

Sorry - TMI - look away if having breakfast ..

a smooth reddy brown clot the length and width of my little finger.

Since then, just red blood when wiping - not bright red, but not brown either. Tum feels like I am having a heavy period - not painful, but definitely not stretching pains

Will phone the GP this morning but don't hold out much hope. Can't really go on symptoms - boobs are still tender but that is the only symptom I have really

barbie1 · 23/04/2009 07:31

jools please get yourself down to a&e...i really wish i could help you more
I hope you are not working today? im here .... if you need me to do any research or hold your hand and generally just listen im here babe ok?

OP posts:
barbie1 · 23/04/2009 07:55

jools im getting worried about you now, i hope you are either keeping yourself busy or off getting yourself seen too, im cleaning the villa through so will be back to check soon.....

Joolsiam · 23/04/2009 08:02

I'm still here Barbie - was going through my GP's automated system to try and get a GP appt for today but there aren't any, despite the fact that they say they release appointments every morning - grrr

the surgery opens at 8.30 and I shall call through and ask for a callback from MY GP. The blood loss is not massive and I'm not in any pain, so I really can't see any reason for going to A&E this time. Will wait and see what the GP says

I've never had an early MC, but am guessing that this would be just like a heavy AF anyway at under 6 weeks. I feel remarkably chilled about it all this morning - wouldn't even let DP stay home from work. I think I did all my worrying and coming to terms with it yesterday. I am just relieved it is happening now and not next week when we are on hols and not at nearly 12 weeks like last time when I thought I was safe ....

barbie1 · 23/04/2009 08:09

I can see your reasoning jools but please dont give up hope with the gp, i hate the appointment system, you call at 8.30 on the dot and then they are engaged til about 9 and when you finally get through all the appointments are already gone!
Stay strong and you never know you might just be one of the ones that experience blood loss during early pregnancy,
Im mopping the floor with one hand so you can squeeze the other........

OP posts:
Joolsiam · 23/04/2009 08:19

You can come and mop my floors too Barbie !!

No more blood last time I looked

VJaybigpants · 23/04/2009 08:29

jools thinking of you, but it's not over yet....by 7 weeks I had almost given up hope of this pg, but now look, so don't give up just yet. Off to work in a mo, but will be thinking of you today

Joolsiam · 23/04/2009 08:38

Well, got a GP calling me back. Phone calls start at 9am and I'm number 3 on the list..

4everhopeful · 23/04/2009 08:58

Oh Jools honey Im holding your spare hand, if GP wont see you I'd be tempted to do A&E just to know? Im hoping & praying it will be ok for you sweetheart. Alot of women bleed in early PG, I had early brownish gunky spotting & was fine for several weeks after, it was a chromosome issue that caused that loss, nothing to do with spotting. A colleagues wife also had spotting/bleeding for several weeks early on, & my ex manager didnt know she was PG cos she bled every month & thought it was AF til she was nearly 16 weeks! It can happen so dont lose hope yet...

Personally Id get straight to a&e cos your gp wont be able to scan & thats the only way to get peace of mind... Sending sticky hopeful & positive thoughts to you xxxxxxxxxx

4everhopeful · 23/04/2009 08:59

I just checked your profile page - where are you based hon?

bluesatinsash · 23/04/2009 09:08

Jools I'm squeezing away too and praying. Keep trying the docs, are you sure you don't want your DP home with you?

As I said yesterday I had period type bleed when I was 5+3 with DS and was convinced it was over.

Joolsiam · 23/04/2009 09:26

I don't know what I'd do without you lot

A lovely GP I've never heard of before has called me back and is "juggling" my LMP dates to see if she can get me a scan for tomorrow (they won't accept referrals under 6 weeks and I did start bleeding at 10pm the night before my official LMP date) She wants me in to see her at midday just to check things out and rule out ectopic (which I'm sure it is not)

Fingers still crossed - boobs haven't deflated and I still feel mildly nauseous and the bleeding isn't very heavy .... I've read lots of positive stories about bleeding and things being OK, so am trying to tell myself there is still a glimmer of hope ..
