Jools - I had scan with DS when I was 5+3 due to bright red bleeding and saw a teeny tiny heartbeat (like a light flickering). It may just be cervial erosion. Will be thinking about you and praying, its just so fucking hard.

jools ring your GP and see what they suggest, you may get a scan or it may be too early, not sure, but don't do any gym classes for now, when I had my spotting I was told to rest as much as poss. Holding your hand tight babes xx

kate we did a hoeseasons honeymoon too up in Scotland, it was lovely and relaxing, plus one of the reason we live up here now

barbie I'm so sorry for your friend, I really hope she has a lovely holiday with you.

I started this post half an hour ago, but my neighbour popped round then went and fell off my front door step and I've just had to ring an ambulance for her , she's on her way to A&E now they think she's broken her ankle, poor chick

Jools thinking of you, wish I could say something to make you feel better but I can't. Agree with the others & think you should try & get a scan to set your mind at rest. I had a scan at both 5 & 6 weeks, at 5 weeks they could see the sac & at 6 weeks they could see the heartbeat.

Mermaid at your parsnips! At least they have a use! Keep us updated with how your acupuncture goes this afternoon.. Also, please do check the LIT for yourself, thought of you lots & also monkey as we are the recurring ones, see what your specialist says re test results & check you've had everything that can be done on NHS first but if still a blank then see? I really do feel like me again, I know its no guarantee but its hope..

Barbie are you tipsy yet? at you by a nice pool supping 2 cocktails at a time - one for me, one for you!

Silly (!)

Also as randomness goes just heard our co CEO awarded himself a 50% pay increase, all employees are on a pay freeze with no rise this year (under review ) but our CEO is now on £496,024k a year Credit crunch my a**e! Bloody fat cats! Not really shocked tho!

Also for more randomness, I been doing ok with my 3 PG colleagues (1 sit next to me is now 7 months!) but.... I am that one of them about 6months goes out for a fag several times a day - its disgusting, everyone shakes their head at her, and wheras Ive had to learn to be cool (and not ) about the other 2 I cant even acknowledge this girl cos of what she's doing... Tut Tut Tut 4ever shakes head disgustedly.. She's a right old chav...! (Miaow )

OK - what am i doing ramblin away here? Must work..... or not? half day??! If I had a laptop Id be off & MNing in my garden with a wine! xxxxxxxxx

Jools - thinking of you

4ever - my god i hate stuff like that. My friend has quite bad PCOS & is now pregnant after a very long time; still smokes though . I used to smoke, before the boys each time but always gave up when pregnant, instantly. I last smoked in Feb 07 when ttc Millie. I don't drink when pg either, just can't stand the thought of it in my baby.

I am very tired today.

Neeko - i have to keep reminding myself its a symptom! i have soreish breasts today and hot flushes so doing well. 5+1 today. I, ahem, seem to have extra discharge (common for me in pg) and i keep getting scared. trying to relax.

Big deep breaths. Guaranteed the next 35 weeks will be looong! Stay calm and I know it's impossible hard but try to enjoy your pregnancy.

Thankyou, i know at least that i cannot do anything better than what i already am. DH is great too. GP tomorrow and hopefully a scan in 2 weeks. i can do 2 weeks, right??

This time feels so much more better than last time.

scorpio the 2 weeks will be up before you know it, although it doesn't seem like it at the mo, but it will, go and sit in the garden and enjoy the sun.

My neighbour is fine, she didn't break anything just tore the ligaments, drama queen that she is

4ever at your CEO's payrise, can't you all complain. I was reading on my homepage yesterday about the country dropping below zero inflation, then a little anouncement at the side saying that Tesco have achieved record profits!!!! Plus at the smoking lady, there is no need for it, giving up is hard but totally worth it for your baby, it's all very selfish.

Yes at the chavvie PG smoker. I have eradicated her from my vision & now look straight through her but can happily chat to the other 2 PG that obviously are cherishing each minute.. 4ever nods approvingly! Not hard to stop for 8 months is it?!?

When DH got back from Tahialand last week, he had to go straight to hospital; two bites turned into cysts and he had to have a general and them scraped out! He went back to work on monday so feels fine, so he says.
