Hiya, we've got nice sunshine up here too, which makes a nice change. Ds is out at a friends house for lunch so I am just chilling out for a bit.

mollie totally understand your anxiety you stay put till your ready to move on, I was the same, I didn't join an antenatal thread until I was much further on, I don't add much to it though I prefer to stay on here.

barbie enjoy your offroading

jools any news? am thinking of you.

Well good luck to all you ladies bding over the weekend and enjoy all the yummy chocolate.

bluesatinsash · 11/04/2009 12:42

Hi ladies,

Just a quickie before I head off to my boozy girlie lunch (DH and DS are off to grannies).

Hey Vjay - enjoy your 'me' time, any more feelings today?

Mollie totally understand your caution, i'm from the same mould! Hope your DH is royally spoiling you this weekend, you deserve it [bsmil].

barbie - enjoy your offroading, bet your face cmes back all sand!

Hey Anniecam - bet you had to lie down after your mammoth post ! Great to hear your symptoms are stronger this time round..

Hope your work's OK today gracie

How's the OPK going today MLS?

Hope your DH hopped (slipped in a wee easter pun there ) to it last night Neeko!

Its gorgeous up here today too x

MummyLovesSadie · 11/04/2009 14:06

Grrrrrrrr weather is just abysmal down here in Surrey - I can't believe how depressed it has made me feel! All I wanted to do was wear nice spring clothes & play outside on a blanket in the garden with dd but there is no chance of that today. Went to a scuzzy soft-play place this morning instead & wearing winter clothes, had a bagel with far too much melted cheese & now feeling sick!

Blue opk still faint +, doesn't seem to be any darker than yesterday but I'm still only on day 11. Will bd later anyway, hopefully dh will produce some long-lifers that will last a few days! Hope your having a nice girlie lunch.

Neeko have you done another opk today?

Mollie I would do the same as you or else I'd feel like I was tempting fate at this early stage.

Can all those with nice weather send some sunshine down here please.

Neeko · 11/04/2009 15:48

Hello. DH has gone to the football and DD is napping so I can post without feeling gulity
Did opk today and line is MUCH darker![brin] and EWCM too so more BDing for us tonight. Managed to BD last night, but BDing to demand and with your fingers crossed is lots more stressful.
MLS Hope you're successfully dancing too lol at you're emailing Babymad. Trust the conception guru to be on 1st name terms!
Mollie I totally get where you're coming from. I'd like to think if it was me I'd keep it to myself for a while and only mention it when I'm more sure that it's sticky (but know if I get lucky again I'll be straight on here telling you all!)
Gracie Hope you're feeling better today and are gearing up for this month's BDing.
Barbie Are you back yet?
Kate Hope last night was better than night before and you're holding up ok.
Anniecam Hope your symptoms become stronger and stronger. Rest lots.(Soon you won't be able to fit into bed with your DS [bsmile})
Vjay and Blue Hope you're enjoying your "me time"
LBS Any more non-symptoms?
Hi to everyone else and happy chocolate eating!

bakingqueen · 11/04/2009 16:44

Hello to everyone and a happy easter. Can't believe how many postings in the last two days got totally confused by the new thread- then again always have been easily confused! Hope everyone is well and things are still going well for you all. Sorry still too new to fully catch up with where you are all at but sending you all happy vibes anyway x Been on 2 long days at work and decided that there is nothing like a busy A&E prior to bank holiday to take my mind off my mc and my want to be pregnant again. Have decided to stop the OPK sticks and wait for my AF whenever that decides to restart. My DH seems happy with that not just because it stops me pouncing on him but he could see the daily negative test were sending my mood back down. So decided to just wait patiently for now but bulk buy OPK strips for after my af. A quick question where is good to buy the OPK sticks from on internet? Happy easter to you all

kate030284 · 11/04/2009 17:40

hi girls manage to survive night2 but quite a nasty accident so kept my mind busy and not thinking all bout me lol

hi bakingqueen i no how u feel bout working in a+e i work there 2 im back again 2nite i feel really tired 2day .

VJaybigpants · 11/04/2009 18:11

hi bakingqueen I got my opk's from babymad.com, they were really cheap but worked for me. Good luck xx

Neeko · 11/04/2009 18:13

Hi Bakingqueen Babymad.com is good, but unfortunately shut until the 17th. You can also buy them cheaply from e-bay. I admire your intentions not to test, but guarantee once you have them in the house you won't be able to resist! Enjoy some unpressurised BDing til then.

Hi Kate You sound tired, but just think of your wonderful wedding. Won't be long now. Is it 3 weeks? Hope tonight's shift goes smoothly.

SabsBigPants · 11/04/2009 20:03

hey ladies..hope ur all wele and having a good day on this miserable saturday (well its miserable here anyway!)...

first of all a cautious congrats and yay to *mollie". totally understand the way ur feeling...even for me now, although a lot of people know im pregnant again, i havent brought myself to say on my facebook status that im pregnant..just know that we're here for you and understand what youre going though. Hope u want to stick around on this thread, im still here lol!

well done to barbie for getting this new thread started. Hopefully we will have more good news on here..hope ur having a good time...saw ur pics on FB, they look fab!

kate hope ur nights out are going well...you getting excited/nervous/happy that your big day is nearly on the way??

neeko and MLS hope ur BDi'ing is going well. Sending you lots of babydust your way!

jools any news? (sorry, no pressure!)

vjay wow, you felt ur baby! are you 20 weeks now? i cant wait for that feeling....i'm 16 weeks today

annie good to hear that the signs are postiive...am soooo jealous ur going to see take that! even though i was a fan back in the day, i never got to see them until dec 07, and they were fab!

lion i'll be holding yout hand virtually on wednesday..hope it all goes well...

Well ive had a very eventful week...thanxs to everyone for their birthday messages....didnt do much on the day, just had lunch with friends and took in krispy kremes to work, but going out with DH 2mrw to see lion king in theatre, which ive been dying to see! and then for some dinner out in west end, possibly followed by haagen daz in leicester square
Unfortunately ive been signed off work sick for 2 weeks due to stress at work..i have a really horrible intimidating bullying manager, who is such a gossip and has been speaking to a few of us in such an intimidating disrespectful manner...for me its just stepped up in the past few weeks...ive ignored it for a while, thinking if i say anything to her, it would just sound so petty, especially as people around me have been going through redunduncy, but it all came to a head on thursday and i just broke down and reported her to a senior manager and HR. Luckily I have an understanding GP, who hearing me on the phone just crying and being inconsolable, signed me off on the spot, saying it was harmful to the baby for me to be in that environment. DH has also been made redundant and with monday coming up (the due date of my lost angel), i think it just got too much for me.
Again sorry for bringing the vibe down...thanks to those on FB who were asking about me...didnt really want to post the whole sorry story on there, especially as i have a lot of work mates on there

sabs says welcome to bakingqueen and babyinacorner

and hello to blue, mermaid, 4ever curly gracie mm (missing you!) and littlebellsmums phew is that every1!

GracieGirl · 11/04/2009 20:07

Rather more than our fair share of A&E staff on here(Gracie, Kate and BakingQueen) I think we're taking over!

GracieGirl · 11/04/2009 20:17

Sabs - glad you've escaped the nasty manager for a couple of weeks , that sort of treatment is really not what you need at the minute - do you want the Emmsys Charlie's Angels to go and scare your manager in the Barbie-mobile?? Your manager wouldn't stand a chance against us lot!!

MummyLovesSadie · 11/04/2009 20:21

Sabs so sorry to hear you have been having such a tough time, glad you feel like you can confide in us lot. It sounds like you have such a lot on your plate & your awful manager was the straw that broke the camels back.

Don't worry about bringing us down, we are all here to lift you back up again.

I first felt my dd move (little tickly bubbly feeling) at 17 weeks so I'm sure you will get that magic moment that will totally lift your spirits very soon.

Joolsiam · 11/04/2009 20:23

Good to hear from you Sabs. I've been in similar work situations - walked out and got signed off sick whilst I looked for another job. It is soul destroying - recovery from that episode took over a year for me, so you are well out of it.

I haven't POAS yet - am scared too To be honest, I'm not sure whether I'm more scared of a BFN or a BFP Have very mixed emotions at the mo, so am adopting a head in the sand approach for a couple more days

Still no AF, and no pre AF spotting. I was expecting spotting to have started yesterday or this morning and full flow at bedtime today, but nothing at all

I may test tomorrow, but have an early start off to DP's aunt, uncle and cousins for an Easter lunch (am breaking my diet for a day and can't wait for choc !!)

Sooo, may not test tomorrow but if no AF by Monday, will probably do it then.

Sorry to keep you all in suspense

littlebellsmum · 11/04/2009 20:23

V quick post - MLS - I think you might live close to me, I'm also in Surrey and the weather is soooooooo pants! Just stop *loddy raining!! How am I suppoed to do Easter Egg hunts in the rain!!!!

bakingqueen · 11/04/2009 20:25

Hi Gracie and Kate nice to meet other people who have the delights of the 4 hour A&E to targets to battle. Have to admit keeping my eyes on that target at work stopped me with my obsessional opk checking. Now on a day off and feel able to wait for af!

MummyLovesSadie · 11/04/2009 20:28

LBM I have it on good authority (man from the BBC!) that tomorrow is gonna be (as Neeko would say) fiiiiiine!!!

SabsBigPants · 11/04/2009 20:32

not to scare you NHS'ers but I work for a certain NHS regulator, who publishes the results of all NHS trusts annually as to whether they meeting all targets and standards etc! but whatever you say about work on here is kept in confidence

thanxs for all ur supportive messages, uve lifted me already...ive spent the whole day mooching around not talking much, poor DH is such a darling, just being really patient and there for me..just letting me be in my own thoughts

jools nice to hear from you, take all the time u need....we will all just have to be patient and hold your hand whatever/whenever you decide to do...

GracieGirl · 11/04/2009 20:47

BakingQueen glad to see A&E targets are useful for taking your mind of AF's and OPK's, I don't think the targets are much good for anything else!!
Sabs I think Blue is an NHS manager too.

Jools i'm in awe of your willpower/"head in the sand" approach - well done!

Gracie is hoping all of England except a 20 mile radius around me is sunny tomorrow - I'm at work and can't be arsed bothered with drinking, gardening injuries, power tools injuries etc that sunny weather brings to A&E!! I'm off on Monday can it be sunny then please Mr Weatherman??

MummyLovesSadie · 11/04/2009 21:00

Gracie if it is sunny here tomorrow no doubt I will get drunk & trip over (GG style heehee!) a carelessly upturned rake whilst wielding the hedge-trimmer. So, lucky for you I live far away!

GracieGirl · 11/04/2009 21:07

You wouldn't believe how common drunken gardening/power tool injuries are!!! Hey MLS I was sober when I fell down the stairs!!! Maybe next time I should try it drunk and it won't hurt so much!

MummyLovesSadie · 11/04/2009 21:19

Yeah at least you wouldn't tense up then & you could always have a medicinal brandy when you get to the bottom!

I'm off to watch Casualty now, looking forward to seeing what you going to do this week 'Sister Tess'!

bluesatinsash · 12/04/2009 09:40

Morning All

Sooo is it sunny down in England? Its lovely juvely up here in Scotland, there is even a heat haze and its only 9.30am! I've hung my washing out already [efficient emotion].

Sabs - lovely to hear from you and glad you have been signed off work, just what you don't need!! I work in HR for the NHS and with my 'legal' hat on, your boss could be done for bullying and harrassment. If it continues when you go back I would start to keep a note of incidents, what was said etc. keep emails and so on as you can cite the 'dignity at work' legislation.

to all our A&E nurses! I deal with staff who are unhappy with the Agenda for Change bandings so hope you all got graded fairly.

Jools - understand your relcutance to test and your mixed emotions either way, I feel exactly the same for this week and have no HPT in the house. I sometimes don't feel I'm mentally strong enough for all the knicker checking but I need to push on through if I want my longed for DC#2.

Gracie I can confirm that if you fall over drunk you escape unharmed. I summersaulted down steps some years ago in high heels and literaly 'bounced' back up unscathed. Still baffles me to this day .

Well I'm off to church later as its Easter Communnion and although I rarely go these days due to DS I always feel at peace once I've been. Will say a prayer for us all and especially Mollie and Jools.

Let the chocolate eating commence

p.s. I but my OPKs from zoombaby.com
