bakingQueen there's laid back and there's laid back omg girl just cut and paste everything and anything! Neekos right though just start writing and the panic will ebb.
As for your ov question - I always seem to come back on track fairly promptly but there are a lot of women who don't seem to - I expect its gone to hide till you have 4000 words! Thinking of you.x

neeko I have veiny boobs - I just hate all the suspense.

gg hope you are catching thse zzzzzz.

mls looks promising?

hope everyone is ok, especially gingermum not heard from her for a while, hope you are ok.x

kate looking forward to the hen party and hope your rl one is all it shold be, have a great time.

I have a virtual wedding to go too tonight in Vegas! we get to watch the ceremony in real time how cool is that and its heaps cheaper than going too!

mermaidspurse · 18/04/2009 11:45

oh sorry dozzer I went out coame back mid post and never refreshed hope you are ok, have a fab weekend.x

doozerhead · 18/04/2009 12:23

hiya mermaid! How are you? I'm re living in cornwall - i'm in deepest darkest south east london! do you live near the sea? that woud be so lovely. the sun is shining here today though and we have a tiny garden so if it gets a bit warmer this afternoon i am planning on a nice g&t in the sunshine!
Did you start temping in the end by the way? I am starting to get a bit obsessed (I've got two spreadsheets!!)

MummyLovesSadie · 18/04/2009 13:22

Mermaid lol at your veiny boobs - the things we have to go through!

Doozer I too have been copping a good old feel & I can't decide if I have slightly fizzy raspberry rips or if they always feel like this???!

Neeko thought you'd be back today, glad you are.

I've had the teeniest bit of spotting today & I'm 6 days post ov, I suppose it is too early for implantation???

I'd be interested to hear from the big pants wearers, whether any of you had an implantation bleed. Apparently they say it is not common but I've heard from loads of people that they had it.

Joolsiam · 18/04/2009 13:26

MLS - I had implantation bleeds both times - one at 6DPO and most recently at 11DPO - just a teeny bit of pinky red on wiping - seen once only - although the first time I also had brown spotting when wiping the day AF was due.

Fingers crossed for you

Having a wobble today - I stupidly did another test because DP wanted to see it - the Conception Indicator thingie still says Pregnant 1 - 2 but I should be 5 weeks tomorrow, so should surely say 2 - 3 ? Now I am convinced this PG is doomed and my HCG levels aren't rising fast enough

bluesatinsash · 18/04/2009 13:41

Afternoon ladies

Been at the hell they call soft play this morning for a birthday party - cue me throwing myself over various plastic padded things whilst more mature Mums sit drinking their lattes . Its tired DS out and he's zzzz so not all bad .

MLS - I think I had an imp bleed with DS but nothing with 3 subsequent pregnancies (God I hope that's not a bad omen, aargh! need to rub my lucky rabbit's paw).

Barbie -loving your bucket, how's the head love?

Mermaid - enjoy your virtual wedding, will Elvis be in the building ?

Hi Neeko - you couldn't stay away could you ? Stop fondling your (.)(.) .

I'm being way cool and listening to my I-pod as I type thinking of songs for Kate's virtual hen. I do like a bit of Pink 'Get the Party Started' to get things moving along . You have to have 'Its Raining Men' too oh and 'I will survive'. Have a great RL one tonight Kate!

DH and me stumbled across'Wayne's World' last night on Sky -laugh? I forgotten how funny it was - schwing!

later ladies x

bluesatinsash · 18/04/2009 13:43

Sorry Jools - x-post.

I've got same test as you and the leaflet does say the 'weeks pregnant' is just a guage so deep breaths and exhale slowly.

mermaidspurse · 18/04/2009 14:18

blue can our stripper be a fireman please?
and pineapple and cheese sticks and we really need pink furry handcuffs too. oh thats a bit of an odd selection of things

sadly its not an Elvis wedding which is a shame, if you are going to vegas you got to go the whole tacky way surely

dozzer if it makes you feel better its murky and foggy here but a g&t is good wherever you are

jools I have followed you around today and I am going to say it again r-e-l-a-x easier said than done I know honey and we all love you and it will be ok.xxxx

barbie1 · 18/04/2009 15:42

Oooo Barbie you poor thing! Hope you had a great night though, even if you are paying for it now!
Can I make a track request for late on at Kate's virtual hen do please? Maybe we could do some virtual karaoke? (and unlike in RL I will be able to hold a tune! ) I have been singing this sing to myself all day and it has cheered me up loads! No idea how to do proper link things but here's trying...

doozerhead · 18/04/2009 15:56

errr, song not sing - i haven't started on the virtual sauce yet, honest! x

kate030284 · 18/04/2009 16:01

hi jools i hope u ok them indicator really dont mean anything just take it easy now . and enjoy youself on my virtal hen night(alcohol free cocktail for the pg ladies i think ){smile]. big hugs jools xxx xxx

mermaidspurse · 18/04/2009 16:10

nope you can't drive barbie you are still over the limit

doozerhead · 18/04/2009 16:13

hi jools hope you're doing better - just wanted to add to everyone else's reassurance that i think hcg levels can be really variable in the early days of pg, including the very healthist pregnancies! (and you've had all the right signs!) when i've looked up hcg levels in the past they always have really big overlaps from week to week, all within a normal range so I am sure you shouldn't worry about the test - i know that's easier said than done!
xxx

Joolsiam · 18/04/2009 16:28

Corr I have my very own stalker Mermaid

sorry girls, I know I'm being neurotic, but I can't help it Since posting, I've had really quite uncomfortable cramps - worse than normal period pain and my tum is bloated. However, I've had intermittent nausea whenever I don't eat every couple of hours and am a sobbing / mood swinging / angry hormonal mess

Not sure what is going on really

*Barbie - hope the hangover is better soon but I have NO sympathy

MummyLovesSadie · 18/04/2009 16:35

Jools remember I said I had really REALLY(!) bad cramps with my dd. They started the week before my af was due & ended somewhere in the first trimester. A friend of mine (who is now due three weeks after I would have been ) has had the same pains in both her pregnancies & ended up at the epu both times. You should google 'abdominal cramps in first trimester' & you will see just how common they are. I think it is a mixture of bean burrowing & ligaments stretching.

monkeybumsmum · 18/04/2009 16:41

Got to go out soon so just dashing in to wish Kate a fab evening! Hope you have a wonderful time

Also Jools easier said than done I know but try not to worry. As my counsellor said - 'breathe in, breathe out and just let it flow'... Thinking of you as I know only too well how you are feeling.

Love to all x

mermaidspurse · 18/04/2009 16:45

yep so agree with mls jools you are on heightened frightened watch you poor thing. Also and I am clutching at other straws but have you stopped the cambridge diet now so that your stomach is yo yoing a bit with different foods?
you are describing a very hormonal early pregnant woman imho
We are here holding your hands honey.x

Joolsiam · 18/04/2009 16:54

Thanks everyone Mermaid - I've been off the diet for a week now - Easter Sunday was a planned day off and I never went back to it because the diet produces ketones which are apparently a big no-no during pregnancy. It was a bit wierd going back to normal eating and I am still struggling with the concept of normal portions and normal eating, hence a GP visit planned for Tues as I want to be referred to a dietician to help me sort out how much I should be eating.

I think the cramps and the mood swings are making me feel like my hormone levels are rising, which is a good thing, although the cramps are a bit scary. I keep visiting the loo to check for blood

Have tried some deep breathing exercises and they seem to have helped. We are off out soon to a party as some friends of ours are moving away. Hopefully that will take my mind off things

Behave yourselves tonight girlies - no lewd behaviour on this hen night please !! Will pop in with my J20 and some spare L plates later

Neeko · 18/04/2009 16:55

Hey Jools Thinking of you. Have nothing really to add to what the others have said except I think all sticks that you pee on are evil!
So glad Mermaid and Doozer are symptom spotting too. It's much more fun with others. Lol at feeling yourself in public!![Grin]
I'm going to drink very expensive virtual champagne at the hen night.
Judging by my addiction I'll be back tomorrow
Have a happy Saturday night everyone.

anniecam38 · 18/04/2009 18:37

Hi ladies, just popping in quickly as going on rare night out with DH tonight.

jools-Hope you ok and taking deep breaths and trying not to panic. I would leave the tests witn conception indicators well alone, from what ive read on threads from MN they cause nothing but panic. The cramping pains are normal, i also had them really quite bad with my DS, ive had them bad this time too, and i must admit, i too run to the loo every chance i get, to check my pants, its all part of pregnancy post mc.

Im in mild panic mode too has have had a constant dull period type pain and lower back ache for 2 days now, i had this for few days before my mmc was diagnosed too. Im going to hold out on contacting EPU and having scan till just over a week when i,ll be 8 weeks, as id first planned, as theres nothing i can do anyway, just pray and wait and see.

VJaybigpants · 19/04/2009 09:20

Morning ladies,
jools I had cramps in the early days I was told it was normal, but it didn't stop me from worrying and going through a loo roll a day!
It's a lovely sunny day up here, so what do I do, ironing or sit in the garden?????

barbie1 · 19/04/2009 09:21

miss me girls????

OP posts:
VJaybigpants · 19/04/2009 09:24

Morning barbie how's your head??? And yes I've missed you, where've you been?

barbie1 · 19/04/2009 09:29

i have tried to catch up with everything i missed.....no one else has had a bfp while i was away did they???

Mad mad mad weekend......red bull airshow in abi dhabi on friday, the one where they fly through things etc, you might of seen it on the tv, dashed back to dubai and then out for an all inclusive buffet on friday night.....too much tequila and the rest is history! never been so sick in my life [envy} sick face!...
Spent sat morning trying to come around from the effects of the tequila, still pissed....decided to go to the beach to sleep it off...finally faced macdonalds at 5.30pm that evening before giving up and going back to bed..

Today i had the interview thingy with mac, ended up parking the car and getting a taxi the last 10 mins as its a nightmare to drive, taxi driver got lost (took 45 mins to go just 10 min up the road!).....ended up getting out of the cab and running in heels and the heat with no idea where to go only that i was late at this point.....then i had a panick attack in the street so so scared, dh was on the phone to me and was so worried, thankfully he talked me through it....finally compossed myself and made it to the meeting 15 mins late, i should start work in a few weeks so at least something came of it.

vjay sit in the garden...ironing can wait!
