Blue Very terrified

Big waves to MLS BakingQueen Sabs Monkeybum VJay and anyone else lurking or I've forgotten

Had a few wobbly moments over the last couple of days after booking GP appt, even started checking out my diary at work to see how many interviews I had booked for the week that we're hoping to get our scan, so that if I have an ERPC and I'm off, I could see how many people would have to be rearranged! I think that means that I'm not as relaxed and positive as I first thought

GracieGirl · 16/04/2009 20:48

Poor Mollie, let me give you a hug. Planning in advance when to fit in the next ERPC is just the sort of daft thing I'd get up to. You need some pampering!!

VJaybigpants · 16/04/2009 20:52

mollie just take it a day at a time, it wasn't until I reached 13 weeks that I moved up to taking it a week at a time. Don't look too far forward because at the end of the day, and like blue said, it's out of your hands now, so try and relax a bit and focus on each day as it comes. I am thinking of you, blue and jools being in these early days, but we all have to go through them to get what we want. Stay as positive as you can and I am holding all your hands through it I hope I don't sound patronising here cos I really don't mean to be, I just know how hard it is xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Joolsiam · 16/04/2009 20:55

I've been brave and booked a GP appt aswell - for next week as we are on hols the week after and I'd like to try and book an early scan.

Got a bit floored when I couldn't get an appt with the GP who was so nice to me post MC - not sure whether to keep the appt now or just go when I am over 7 weeks - it feels like making it official is a big step

Mollie - I think I'm still in denial in other ways - was making a play for a new internal position today that probably won't be advertised till the Autumn, to start in Jan 2010 when you and I will hopefully be otherwise engaged

bluesatinsash · 16/04/2009 21:14

and me too hopefully Jools, don't forget about me .

Hi Mollie - one day at a time. I've already perused work diary dates and have 'what if' scenarios going through my head. It's just our survival instinct kicking in.

I've already got GP appointment as I'm due to have my next Acup sesh with him on 29th. If the gods are kind I will register with him then but I'm going to hold off getting my bookings-in appointment as I had to cancel last two and feel I would be tempting fate way too much. All it entails is taking lots of blood and they can easily do that a few weeks on...

Kate - at your hens, you have a ball on Sat OK?

to everyone else.

littlebellsmum · 16/04/2009 21:35

Oh, my lord - how many messages!!
Neeko - there is now chance of me leaving the kids eggs alone ( it's not good for them anyway!) Hope you're feeling happier by now

Babyinacorner - I love your list and we seem to be cycle partners!! Hurrah - we can test together next month

BFP ladies - you have got really good reason to be anxious. Hang on there - this thread is lucky and is going to have lots and lots more good news! And as fr lack of symptoms - when they do kick in , you'll wish they weren't there!!

GG - I think you need to book your weeks holiday when you are ov'ing - it worked for Blue!!

Kate - enjoy your hen night. Your real friends will not let you down

As ever - RL is calling me back. Hello to everyone I've missed ( most of the thread!!)

anniecam38 · 16/04/2009 21:43

Hello everyone, ive been missing for couple of days as been feeling rough.Still been going to work but feeling nauseous from the moment i wake up to the minute i go to sleep, and am so tired i could sleep for days. Im certainly not complaining as hopefully it means bean is growing, fingers crossed.
Took me ages to read through and try and catch up, so apologies if i miss you out, its certainly not intentional .

jools-I wouldnt worry too much at this stge re lack of symptoms, you,ll find by 6 weeks they,ll be much stronger, and every pregnancy is different and IMO the symptoms can be different too.

MLS and Neeko-Hows the (non) symptom spotting going?

Barbie-Good news re getting called forward for meeting with Mac on Sunday, sounds like you're in with a good chance there. Loved the FB phots by the way of you on the beach building sandcastles

baby-Sorry to hear AF got you this month.

Monkey-Had a look at your phots on your profile. Your DS is gorgeous. How old is he as he looks around the same age as my DS.

Scorpio-Glad DH is home, hope you having good time catching up with him.

Lion-So glad amnio went well, sounds like they really looked after you. Hope the next 2 weeks flies by for you.

mermaid-Acupuncture sounds like it went well, seems really interesting and i know a few people who swear by it. Glad it wasnt too uncomfortable.

Kate Have a great time on Saturday at your hen night. Poor performance on your friends who let you down, but at least you know who your true friends are eh?

VJay-Sorry to hear your getting stressed bout lack of funding for DS, poor mite doesnt need this bless him, hope it gets sorted soon.

4ever-1st May will soon be here, how exciting, just have to keep your legs firmly crossed till then. Treatment sounds very expensive, but there is no price we wouldnt pay if it means having a baby at the end of it.

Waves to everyone else, love to you all.

Just a quick post to say hope your all well am sat in bed feeling sorry for myself with a lempsip as dh sulking downstairs as no bd tonight typical the one night he is in the mood I'm full of cold anyway lots of love to you all and ps whoever is brave enough to do the update list am CD 25 today ttc #1 should af CD 28 if cycle like per mc x

Joolsiam · 17/04/2009 07:31

Oh Blue - I hadn't and would never forget about you I just thought you slightly less in denial / head in the sand mode than me !!

Welcome back Anniecam Sorry you're feeling rough but bet you are glad at the same time

BakingQueen - sorry about the cold Just enjoy the fact that you can attack it with drugs

I had the most awful headache yesterday afternoon and must admit I had yet another freakout, as I haven't had a headache like that since I was on hols a couple of days before MC. Took some paracetamol, even though I was trying to avoid even that - this headache was just too bad not to treat. Slept like a log till 5am. Am now upright, but very tired and a little queasy and boiling hot. Not sure if I'm coming down with something or these are SYMPTOMS Will wait and see. Working from home today - lots to do, but should be able to fit in a nap if I continue to feel like this and, of course, lots of MNetting

I need to be at my best for *Kate's" virtual hen night - pass the apple juice (hic !)

Neeko · 17/04/2009 08:49

Morning.
Kate Sorry about your friends letting you down and about your BFN. Hope you get ridiculously drunk on your hen night and have no hangover! I'm up for a virtual hennight. Are we having a theme and costumes?
Jools Poor you. Hope your head is better soon. I quite often have severe headaches and know you just want the world to go away and leave you alone. Try to defer as much work as possible. Rest and drink lots of water. Maybe try some steam inhalation too?
barbie Sky diving? Are you truly off your head? You're certainly a braver woman than me!
Vjay and Anniecam Still have fizzy nipples. Very weird. Really trying not to get my hopes up though.
Anniecam Hope the tiredness settles down soon. Make sure you're getting all the sleep you crave until then.
I was out for dinner with a friend last night. Very good night and felt really relaxed but have woken up today with what feels like a hangover even though I had no alcohol Wish I'd been drunk now!
Great big hello to everyone else. Sorry if I've missed any important messages. Not feeling up to doing my homework properly today.

Joolsiam · 17/04/2009 08:55

Oooh Neeko - where are you in the 2WW ?? I had fizzy nipples last time round - 8 DPO in the afternoon - just wierdly hot nipples, then 10 DPO - was at work and they just started fizzing and tingling - I had to make my excuses and leave a meeting to go to the loos and check them - was convinced there must be something to see - very very strange sensation

All sounds good to me - fingers crossed

Went back to browse MC forum this morning - the sadness and heartache on Emmsys Angels makes me cry - brings all the pain back and makes things so raw again. I still pop in there to see if I can help, but having Onwards and Upwards as the next stage was just the BEST idea.

Neeko · 17/04/2009 09:05

I agree about the threads. I still post regularly on the miscarriage thread but it makes me .
I'm only 6 DPO so really don't think it can mean anything. Did a very silly thing yesterday and did another OPK (no idea why) The line was VERY dark so now have no idea what that means. Can you have two surges in a row? I wish I'd never bought the bloody things now as I can't leave them alone. Seriously thinking about putting the rest in the bin but know I'd be back fishing them out 5 mins later. AAAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!

GracieGirl · 17/04/2009 09:05

Morning all!

BakingQueen sorry to hear you're not feeling well.

Neeko, Mollie, Vjay, Jools and everyone else, when are we having Kate's Virtual hen night?? - 3 weeks to go till her wedding, best not leave it too late else she might be still hungover going down the aisle!

AnnieCam - sorry you're feeling rough.

How are you feeling jools? take it easy!

I'm on nights tonight, but was wide awake at 7am. That's not a good start! Remind me to get a nap later else it's a long time till 9am tomorrow morning when I'll next be going to bed - I'll have no chance of waking up and inspiring myself and DH into BD'ing if I stay awake for 26 hours first!

Neeko · 17/04/2009 09:08

Morning Gracie When are you and Kate next off together and we'll have it then? Snuggle up on the couch with a duvet and have your zzzzs there.

GracieGirl · 17/04/2009 09:11

Neeko - I've no idea whats going off with your ovulation kits, wasn't your last positive about a week ago? Just tried to look back on the thread but can't find it.

Neeko · 17/04/2009 09:12

Yes last Saturday

GracieGirl · 17/04/2009 09:12

Jools you are so right about this thread, its brilliant! I still lurk on the MC thread too but haven't posted for a few weeks.

Joolsiam · 17/04/2009 09:13

Neeko - I have heard of ppl peeing on ov sticks when they haven't got a PG test to hand and the dark line indicating pregnancy, but I'm honestly not sure of the science behind it, and am guessing that 6DPO is too early anyway, unless you've got a bean that is implanting very early ...
