kate030284 · 15/04/2009 21:23

i dont no if i am maybe i am buts its only been 35 days since ERPC and 6 weeks since stated bleeding only had bd twice lol

Neeko · 15/04/2009 21:28

I've been less than that and i'm still hopeful. Don't want to get your hopes up but if you've been BDing without protection?? Have you done a hpt recently?

MummyLovesSadie · 15/04/2009 21:30

Kate you can ov 2 weeks after erpc. I think they say af should arrive between 2 & 6 weeks after mc.

Neeko ok I admit I started it, very naughty of me! I won't mention any symptoms until af is almost due. Right I'm off to bed now as for some reason I'm suffering from EXTREME FATIGUE, heh-heh!

kate030284 · 15/04/2009 21:32

no ive not wat do u reckon il do one tomorrow. i though my bdy wud be messed up but still no af so cud be a chance as not using any protection which was naughty

Neeko · 15/04/2009 21:37

Not naughty Kate just hopeful. Do one tomorrow but mentally prepare yourself for a negative just in case. Oh and please log on in morning and let me know!! Have fingers crossed for you.
MLS You really make me giggle. Sleep tight. Hope you don't have to get up several times to pee!!

kate030284 · 15/04/2009 21:40

ok will do if i dare im nervous i dont have any symptoms but i didnt before .do u think this is long enough to wait for af . cuz i was over 30 days plus for each cycle since coming off pill that was over a year and a half now since i came off pill

Neeko · 15/04/2009 21:47

I think there's a chance. Have been told that ERPC can sometimes count as 1st day of period so that would make you about the end of your cycle now? Obviously you know your body better than I do and I'm only going on supposition, but if it was me I'd test. It could just be that wedding stress is holding back you AF too.(Some people claim testing helps to bring on their AF so if all else fails )

bakingqueen · 15/04/2009 21:49

You won't know unless you try Kate better to know for sure rather than spend days wondering . Fingers crossed for you though

kate030284 · 15/04/2009 21:51

yeah true that always happen to me last yeah think im late then test then af the next daylol im not really stressed bout wedding ive been quite calm up till now . il do test at work tomorrow night and tell u all on friday morning

Neeko · 15/04/2009 21:53

Ok. Good Luck. Remember either way we're here for you. x

GracieGirl · 15/04/2009 22:04

Evening all!

Ooh Kate wouldn't that be exciting, I'm staying calm on your behalf honest!

Neeko and MLS step away for the pregnancy tests!! - but hey symptom spotting is fun - I'm doing it already and I haven't even BD'd yet!!!

Waves to bakingqueen!

GracieGirl · 15/04/2009 22:13

Scorpio - Sorry to hear your DH isn't well, send him our get well wishes and have a big hug from me x x

littlebellsmum · 15/04/2009 22:31

Gracie - I have to correct you, not symptom spotting is the way to go. The way to go nuts that is - how come, I still have sore boobs and a bloody af!! Actually not to upset about AF - just a bit disapointed that all our bding in Paris didn't make us a nice French bebe! We'd have to go some to beat that and it was right mid cycle too. Ah, well dh was a bit disapointed to, so will need to get our enegery levels up for this month.

One thought for you Gracie on how to be in the mood mid shift - about 12 months ago, I read in the paper about this couple wh had bd'd every day for 100 days, even though they'd been together for years to see if they could and secondly the effects on them. We decided that 100 days was a bit much but how about every day for a week. Quite a lot of fun - even managed it after spending the evening Artexing the ceiling ( I have such good nights in!), DH saw it as a challenge...

MLS/ Neeko - step away from the tests, you will be needing them all later!!

Neeko · 15/04/2009 22:39

Littlebellsmum I'll step away from the tests when you step away from your kids Easter eggs. Seriously though I'm not even thinking about testing and honestly not building my hopes up. Enjoy your chocolate!

GracieGirl · 15/04/2009 22:44

LBS I'll have to get DH to book a week of work so he'll be at home, I might try it another month. I don't think we'd get far normally its a 150 mile round trip from his work flat to our house! Every day for 100 days - that's impressive!!!

LBS maybe DH will have to take you to Paris again, its a good excuse as any to go back!

GracieGirl · 15/04/2009 22:45

Who is LBS ???? I mean LBM

Curlywurleelittlepants · 16/04/2009 00:00

Blue and jools I am so happy for you girls. This is the most amazing news - Sorry I've not been on, i'm a bit up and down at the moment, but things are looking brighter with all these bfps

Big hugs to you all, especially our newcomers. I'll catch up properly soon I promise xxx

GracieGirl · 16/04/2009 07:35

Hello Curly - great to see you back - I missed you!

barbie1 · 16/04/2009 07:57

curly im glad you are back! i really do hope everything is ok for you? everyone has up and down days, me more than most i think! this thread is proving to be v lucky so far so prehapes we can look forward to more up days soon, fingers crossed!

neeko did you test? i cant keep up with the girls who are testing soon? guess its time to redo the list?? ill see what i can do...

jools smiled at you doing a little dance in the hotel, i would of been jumping on the bed or something equally as silly......

I have decided for the next few months not to think about ttc i mean of course i still want too but its been consuming me way too much....we are planning to still do the sky diving for dh birthday and go to ireland to a festival which will be very messy. Both will be a lot harder if pregnant (so i have to keep telling myself!) so the plan is not to temp, use the wee sticks or think to much about dates and just enjoy the next few months, and anyway its getting soooo hot it will be uncomfortable to be up the duff in this heat

So heres to trying not to think about concieving...lets see how longs its going to last!

My sunburn is much better thanks although it looks like im wearing a bikini when naked, in fact i almost glow in the dark.....helping me not to think about concieving though as dh just laughs every time he see's me naked! ....im going to see if i can get some fake tan to blend in the white bits

xxx

Hiya - just popping in to say af got me this morning, so gutted and its put my cycle back to 25 days when it was 27 last month! I have started on the clearblue fertility monitor today though so maybe this month will be the month!

Neeko and Kate - fingers crossed for BFP's for you

p.s has anyone heard of their cycle re-setting itself after ERPC - I only ask because before I was pregnant I would always come on on a thursday/friday so today is when I would have come on if i hadn't fallen pregnant in the first place. does that make sense!?

barbie1 · 16/04/2009 08:23

sorry af got you babyinacorner ...and yes you only have to take a look at me to know that af will be different after erpc, you should be regular 4-6 months after, although regular might mean longer/shorter cycles. The best thing to do is to keep a note of af for the next 6 months or so and if you dont spot a regular pattern you will at least have something to show a doctor if you decided to go.

Make a list of why its great not to be pregnant this month, i did and it helped a little well if only to make me feel slightly better at the time

Neeko · 16/04/2009 08:42

Morning. Sorry AF got you Babyinacorner - hopefully next month will be your month. Since I haven't come on yet since ERPC I can't give you advice on changes to cycle - sorry.
Barbie Liked your list It sounds like your day out with the girls did you a lot of good. Good luck with the hunt for the fake tan.
I won't be testing for quite some time yet. I only got +ive on opk last Saturday so would think I'd have to wait until at least a week on Saturday before I could get an accurate result. Is that right? It's really hard because I don't know where on my cycle I am so I'm knicker checking for AF everytime I go to the loo.
The hormones came back to bite me on the bum last night. Had quite a few crying moments.I feel like pregnant women or women who've had miscarriages are following me around just now although it must be much worse for our lovely A&E staff. Anyway feeling better for having got that out and today is a new day... Hope it's a good one for all of you!

Joolsiam · 16/04/2009 08:44

Babyinacorner - my cycle used to be 29 days, with OV on CD16 but spotting starting up to 4 days before AF. By January (2 months post MC), I was on a 28 day cycle, ov on CD14 and a little spotting only the day before full AF

It took two months from the MC (Nov 11th) before I ovulated - my first "AF" was just a really really light anovulatory bleed.

I can't remember when it all happened for you, but it might well still be early days and though you might not realise it, perhaps your body is still recovering ? Just keep practising

Barbie - well done on the list - perhaps we need another category called "Hoping to need Big Pants" for the new BFP's !!
