Wow thanks Vjay Ginger and Zen for my virtual fab spangly disco birthday party! Virtual partying was all I was up for yesterday! Had the day off sick as AF was torturing me, was in agony! Couldnt move and then cos pain was so bad took co dydramol left from erpc and 500mg didnt even touch it so took 1000mg every 4 hrs and by yesterday evening was completely out of it!

Sooo, all plans put on hold and off for chinese with DH this evening instead, still achey but not agony, oh the joys of womanhood eh girls?!?

bummer 4ever shame you cant celebrate youe birthday in a bit more style...im sure you will make up for it on your hols though!

barbie about the job for you hun, you will feel like you are just getting messed around, hope something works out soon. I have to say those bugs in Dubai must have good taste because I can confirm the only smells coming from you are lovely ones. Might be an idea to use citronella like mermaid suggests, I use them all Summer and they do help...............Summer...............here in Scotland. Hope the temping works better than last time, the memories of thermometers flying over the room are still with me.

Barbie - ouch re getting bitten! They obviously love your fair english rose skin (lurking under your Dubai tan ). Avon's skin so soft gets a great rep for warding off the mozzies. I've never temped so not sure but think I read you have to do it first thing every day? Have you got an appoint. with a Doc yet? Sorry to hear your being mucked around with your job .

I was out with Playgroup Mum's last night and yes I had a fair few glasses of wie but switched to water earlyish doors and yet still had to get up during the night to be sick - I am such a lightweight..

Hi Just lurking and thought i would mention MM that when my DD had Chickenpox i used Sudacream and it is fantastic stuff stops them blistering and if they are blisters stops them itching. You may want to try it.

Hello All, I've started bleeding again after 10 days with none. I decided the best cure was to head out shopping and buy some silly shoes from Faith! I can recommend it, I'm bleeding heavier now but at least I have good shoes!

argggggghhhhhhh my head hurts!

Yesterday dh and i lasted a full 12 and a half hours at the dubai rugby 7's my first big sporting event!
For all of you on my facebook you can see the mess we ended up in! We started drinking about 10.30, i somehow managed to sneak a bottle of vodka in, disgused as a bottle of water i must have an innocent face as everyone else was getting all liquids removed!.....so now im paying for it, although not as bad as dh who has to stop the cab to be sick on the way home , poor love!

mm poor dd, bless here...i hope she can stop itching, i have scars on my belly where i couldnt stop picking as a child but it felt so good at the time sudacream is great for the itching though. very good ray81! I hoe your job gets sorted out soon hun, its horrible to be in limbo isnt it? mermaid im glad you have come across and bravo for being brave enough to look at the conception threads i have some of the candles you have mentioned and even have invested in one of those fly thingys that fry them to death when they fly into the blue light...the sound of it makes me feel sick though, such a loud bang when they get zapped

If not you need to get someone to bring out the spray on oil called Skin so Soft, the SAS use it in the jungle to prevent being bitten, smells a lot better than citronella and 10 times more effective, you can send this link to someone visiting you maybe? Or I can get some and post it you if you like?

4ever I see you had the NK tst done, I know how frustrating it is when results come back as clear, it's a wierd feeling of relief and disappointment. Hope you had a fantastic birthday

Well last year I got pg following 2nd mm/c, we didn't get an AF so I tested and got a +ve very excited thought this is bound to work out as it happened so quickly, but started spotting 2 days later, had HCG measured but results dropped and gp decided it was a CP, but there are lots of successful stories on here, so go for it girl

Evening all! Having a self inflicted rough day. See I'm as bad as Barbie! I blame the shoes! Went out for a quiet sedate meal with my parents and my brother, DH, cousin, and brothers DP. My parents went home and the rest of us ended up going out to a few pubs afterwards then at 2am all heading to my brothers house and all dancing madly till 5am! I still blame the shoes!

The bleeding slowed down last night, but is heavy again today - see I've just scientifically proved that dancing all night in silly shoes is good for slowing bleeding!!

Hello girlies, had a fab weekend in Edinburgh, even getting stuck in the snow on the A9 on the way home for nearly 2 hours didn't spoil it.

barbie when I did my temps I took it before I got out of bed, and I did see a rise at the right time etc..

Quiet on here today!

Well DD seems to be by the worst of the chickenpox so should be able to start getting back to normal soon]. Meant to thank ray81 for the sudacream tip, was also told to use bicarbonate of soda in the bath, both worked a treat, I'm sure between them I got a few more hours sleep.

vjay glad you had a nice weekend in Edinburgh, pity the weather wasn't better but glad you didn't let it spoil your trip.

gracie sounds like you had a great night, didn't you know dancing is the cure to everything...............well I seem to think that after a few glasses of wine.

mollie thinking about you this week, I know it is so hard. I've had two due dates come and go now, the next is in April, we all deal with these in our own way, if you need a chat you know where I am xxx.

Nothing much going on here, quiet few days beforeour weekend kicks in again although we are going for a somewhat quieter one this weekend.
Been to the gym and forgot how much your body aches the next day thought i had been in a fight during my sleep when i woke up this morning!

mm hope poor dd is not so spotty, at least it gets it out the way for her, its horrible to have them in the hot weather.

barbie Have you managed to find a Drs yet or are you still wrapped up in red tape? Hope your vodka head is better. Which leads me nicely to blue tut tut! you play group ladies are always the last ones home. What is it that accupuncture does to help? Its something I have never considered but I am at the stage of trying nearly anything.
oh and another gracie I cant remember the last time I danced till that time in the morning, must go buy some new shoes. I hope the bleeding stops soon.

mm I'm glad dd is getting better, my ds had it on his 3rd birthday, we have lots of pictures of him sitting looking very sorry for himself surrounded by unopened presents.

I had an antenatal appt today and had the blood test done to test for the risk of downs and spina bifida, will get the results in 2 weeks. Heard the heartbeat which was lovely, lo even gave a little kick, which I heard but didn't feel.
