Good evening, oh, mad ladies!
neeko , I love the idea of choclate covered brazils, yummy, yummy.

And as I said yesterday I'm not sympton spotting but still have sore boobs and feel a bit quesy. Top tip for me will be when I can't face a drink - this happened in 2 of my 3 pregnancies, including my first and was first sign I was pregnant. I can still face wine and so, it may not be a good sign. But as I'm not symptom spotting, it doesn't matter!
Welcome to babyinacorner and bakingqueen - it took 6 weeks for my AF and by then I thought I was pregnant again
Jools - you're making me tired thinking about all that exercise but smaller jeans and a looser belt are a damm fine result

bakingqueen, I love the idea that DH is looking at you warily!!

Barbie, Jools, fingers crossed for some lovely, choclaty, Easter bfp's!
Hello to MLS, GG, Kate, Vjay, Curly, Mollie, mermaid, and 4ver

Summary of birth stories - dd, 24 hours, wtares broke at 9am, contractions started 2 hours later, hospital by 6pm, tried all the drugs ( all good bar pethideine , made me more mad than usual), epidural at midnight, dd arrived by forceps at 8am. Home 24 hours later
ds - waters broke at 9am, contractions started5 hours later, got to hospital at 5pm, he arrived at 5.30pm - gas and air only. Home by 9pm
So - one sprint and one marathon. Still not sure which I prefered!

hi all and welcome to new girlies.

couse i will put wedding pics up if my brain can work out how to do it.

i hope af comes soon im getting inpatient.

bluesatinsash · 08/04/2009 21:40

Evening All,

Welcome bakingqueen and babyinacorner (as in no-one puts?..). So sorry to hear your stories, we have all been there and can relate to all your feelings of urgency at getting pg again.

Mollie I've been beaming about you to myself all day and will say a prayer for your bean at church on Sunday (hey its Easter, hopefully building won't crash down around me ).

Lionstar - How did it go today? Been thinking about you too...

Jools - yes Sat can't come soon enough! You go girl with all your gym sessions. I was at spinning last night and felt ready to take on the world afterwards!

barbie - its all looking gooood girl...

I'm so at all the birth stories as my DS was an 'emergency' section (contractions started midnight on Sun, DS born 4pm Tues). Wee sole's head handn't engaged so I only got to 6cm. Had the works and ended up with general anaesth as my epidural was wearing off when they were stitching me BUT the moment he was put in my arms and started feeding was the best moment in my life BAR NONE and the love affair never ends .

Off to bed now, hellish day at work, night all x

barbie1 · 09/04/2009 04:24

{bsad] well its over for me again this month...all the symptoms i have been having was just a build up to another bleed, 22 days since the last one and only 7 days since ovualating woke with a pounding headache and a hightened sense of smell...thought oh that might be another symptom...went to the loo and bright red blood (tmi, im sorry) Maybe the opk stick was faulty, who knows? the only thing i know is that im more and more unsure or what my body is playing at

On the positive side i can.....
Carry on at the gym and loose weight for a gorgeous beach bod!

I can go out this weekend into the dessert and go off roading in the new barbie mobile without fear of damaging a lo

I can get utterly drunk next friday on the night out we have planned

I can go to the job interview today and not lie about being pregnant

Im here keeping the other girls company on the bench longer!

And finally when my best friend comes to see me in two weeks i wont be feeling sick and tired, so we can party, party, party!!!!!

So its not all bad.....next time eh?

ok been for a long walk, tidied the house and hung out the washing, no more blood just brown discharge again oh and i gagged when loading the dishwasher, something i used to do last time around....

Still convinced its af paying an early visit...just wish i could see inside my body to know what is going on

4ever i hope you at least get an email back

I have an interview today, dont really feel like it...want to stay here on the sofa all day!

Barbie sorry to hear the old witch got you but really glad you are looking on the bright side. At least your body seems to be getting back to some kind of normality now which is surely better than waiting for months on end for af?

I wouldn't have thought that the opk was faulty, it just sounds like your body is finally sorting itself out & I'm sure your luteal phase with lengthen after this af. I had a short luteal phase after having dd - it needs to be the minimum of about 11 days to successfully implant a little bean. I read loads up on the internet & I started taking a supplement of vitamin b6 which really did the trick. It also helps for all kinds of af related things.

Morning! Barbie How are you now? Any more bleeding? Surely if there's no more then you still have a chance? Loved all your "I don't really want to be pregnant this month" reasons.
MLS Do you use a digital thermometer? I've heard they're quicker and easier. I'd love to meet you and pick your brains in RL. Is there nothing about TTC you don't know??
Blue I got a bit emotional at your birth story - that how I felt when I first held DD too.
Kate Let's be impatient together! I don't think I've ever wanted AF this much since waiting for the very 1st one! Looking forward to your pics.
LBS It's good you're not symptom spotting as you'd never catch any of us doing that! Let us know if any other non-symptoms turn up. (by the way I'd choose the sprint)

Still no sign of AF for me and I have a rotten head cold. Have given myself a stern talking to about wallowing in self-pity though and am going to make a real effort to eat more healthily and exercise more. I'm about a stone heavier than I was when I conceived DD and at the top of healthy BMI so it can only help to do something about it. (and it'll give me something else to obsess over! )

Big waves to everyone else. Have fingers crossed for 4ever

4everhopeful · 09/04/2009 09:28

Ohh Barbie honey sorry to hear that AF made an early appearance thats crap, I was really hoping you & Jools would be next.. At least you are getting back on track & getting an idea of your cycle, it will lengthen like mls says.. I like your positive reasons for not being tho... Good luck with your interview today & also we did that desert safari & was one of most amazing things we've done... Big hugs to you & an extra big hug for being so bloody brilliant over last few days of my looooong wait... xxxx

Well ladies, the wait is over - the doc called last night and 'we have the indicators that show we would benefit from this treatment and we should strongly consider the treatment before we ttc no 5'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have had those words ringing round my head all night! He called at 7.30pm & after all the wait I missed the call, my heart skipped a bit when I heard ansa message saying 'I have your results, will call later'! I phoned him about 8.15pm & think I'm still in shock, me & DH just sat there staring & smiling and trying to take it in, every emotion, ecstatic, dizzy, many tears (happy ones - forgot what they were!) sad for our 4 lost babies & upset that they may have been in any pain when my silly body attacked them , but mainly just so so so thankful we have some hope to cling onto and a possible reason why this awful thing has happened to us 4 times in 16 months. I never dared to think we would really ever have a baby, had even started thinking about adoption. Im still too scared to believe it will really work (75% success so no guarantee) but its a better chance than we have had.. My head is spinning, we told our mums straight away & I kept thinking how much I wanted to let you all know & couldnt wait to get here this morning!

I could go on & on but I won't, I will phone the secretary & make our next appt as instructed! Feel very guilty for bitching now but sure they understand, and most of all I really want to thank you all so so so much for jumping on board the Barbiemobile with full Charlies Angels attire & supporting me, holding my sweaty hands and keeping me smiling through a very emotional week! Love ya all loads! xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

mermaidspurse · 09/04/2009 09:40

and breathe
4ever oh honey! I think we need a better description than roller coaster now.
my stomache is turning butterflies for you both

Joolsiam · 09/04/2009 09:41

OMG 4Ever - how utterly amazing. Just SO fantastic that you now have hope and a real plan.

Barbie - sounds to me like your body is waking up and, if this really is AF, then next cycle could be the one

As for me - I've been having major hot flushes overnight and this morning and came over all dizzy just now

LionstarBigPants · 09/04/2009 09:44

4ever so pleased you have some positive news and a way to move onwards - you will have that little bundle to cherish very soon. How soon do they get moving with the treatment?

barbie still have my fingers crossed for you - it still could be some kind of implantation bleed if the old witch hasn't made a full appearance. Your symptoms still sound promising - though the list of non-reasons sound like a good consolation just in case.

Fingers crossed for jools too - don't overdo those crunches just in case!

blue thanks for your thoughts, but our appointment is next Wednesday.

Big waves to everyone else, especially the new girls

4everhopeful · 09/04/2009 09:48

Thanks you so much Jools! Mermaid had so many butterflies actually woke in the night with a dodgy tummy twice!! Leg wouldnt stop twitching straight after, total physical response! Just told my manager who cried happy tears with me. I forgot happy tears exist. I havent smiled like this since our wedding day! Still not acyually called docs yet for appt, been looking on net to find articles on it to add links on here!

barbie1 · 09/04/2009 09:55

4ever tears of joy for you, or it could be the hormones Never thought i would say this but im glad there is something wrong for them the fix

jools hang in there, im sooo sure its you this month

neeko did think it might be an implantation bleed but considering all my cycles having been totally f ed up im not holding my breathe....although...
........

Just now had lunch and had strongest metallic taste ever! had to spit food out as it was so bad........

Then i realised there was some tin foil still on the bread!

HA HA you have to laugh or else every month would see you admitted to the funny farm!

Off now to nail this interview, byeeeeeeeeee

4everhopeful · 09/04/2009 09:56

Found a link for article that was in Daily Mail that MIL gave me 10 days after lost no 3, headline was about 8 mc so couldnt bare to read it, but did keep it!
First heard about LIT on mn mc forum where a few other women mentioned it a couple of weeks ago, then great sperm race talked of luekocytes, that reminded me of this article & I got it out of my mc folder - somthing brought it all together after our hol... have a look at article

mermaidspurse · 09/04/2009 10:02

lion I thought it was yesterday too hope you are felt all the mn vibes anyway.

jools sit down right now and have an early elevensies - said in very strict voice

barbie have you had such a lot of the bright red before? sounds like your poor bod might be adjusting itself. Love your consolation thoughts. When I got my 2 door sleek mobile I thought well that means I'll definatley get up the duff and I'll have to get a bloody picasso - still hoping!

mollie I so know what you mean about getting peole all exited about being pregnant and worried all at the same time.

I had to go to a 'symposium' for mechanics last night (yawwwwwn)and we did a runner after our complimentary drink but this morning dh rang to tell me that we had won the magnum of champagne in the raffleso we really all need a good excuse to open it girls.

4everhopeful · 09/04/2009 10:17

More happy tears reading that again... Its just like me, but thankfully only 4 mc not 8 ..

Right called the secretary who sounds a bit manic, she said DH has to have his blood screened up to 30 days before we can have treatment cos its his white cells injected into me, so first stop is getting our docs to do that, should save money too! Then we start!

mermaidspurse · 09/04/2009 10:23

4ever thanks for the link - 8
At least it will be your dh who is the pincushion - I think I had better hold onto this champagne for a little while longer
Maybe the secretary is worried we are going to appear at any minute.
good luck with the interview barbie

bluesatinsash · 09/04/2009 10:23

oh barbie hun sorry TEW has made an appearance. It hopefully means your cycle is back on track though and you have some great things lined up over the next couple of weeks.. Good Luck at the interview!

Great news 4ever - I'm so so chuffed for you and you now have an answer to why it happened 4 times . As you say 5 is your lucky number (or was it your DH's?)

Think our stats list is a bit out of date - hope this is correct :

Barbie ttc#1 cd 1

Hi just a quick post to say I'm so pleased for 4ever. Hope that treatment can begin soon and 2010 will be the happiest year of your life because that's when your baby will be born. Take care

mermaidspurse · 09/04/2009 11:09

neeko no sign of that ol af yet? loved the chocolate brazil bit, although I think I will just lick the chocolate off. I have a digital thermometer from babymad too - still keep forgetting to use it. It was only a quid or so. p&p is quite high for their stuff but it does get delivered quicker than any mail order company I have ever used.

blue thanks for updating us, its nearly as good as a white board.
Ouch at the c-section, you had 2 marathons in one go. Mine was quick but it was a traumatic quick and didn't have enough time to call dh quite as many things as I would have liked!

4everhopeful · 09/04/2009 11:15

Thanks so much Neeko! Well remembered bless you Blue - 5 is DH lucky number! Think you're right about the secretary Mermaid am really paranoid when speaking to her cos feel she def knows our plot!

Head still spiiiiinnnnnniiiinnnngggggg!

barbie1 · 09/04/2009 11:16

bloody interview....drove for 45 manic and i mean manic minutes trying to locate the place, even abandoned the car at one stage and stopped 3 taxis begging them to take me there but they did know where it was either, anyway cut a long strong short made it with 1 min to spare....in there if 2 minutes and home nown (which only took 15 minutes!) the lady said she only wanted to see what i looked like ......

Yes i had red blood before, only happens in the toilet though and never ever enough to wear pads....in fact i havent used pads or tampax in about 3 years.....

mermaid last time we bought a new car (bmw) 3 door we found out a week later i was preggers....pick up our new car tonight...so fingers crossed! this one however can hold three kids with there on tv in the back to shut them up

Joolsiam · 09/04/2009 11:18

Now I'm feeling nauseous and that is despite doing what Mermaid told me and having a Muller Lite yoghourt for elevensies.

Half the office are going out for lunch in an hour and I was going to be good and have salad, but it may have to be pizza

Must be coming down with something - no other explanation

barbie1 · 09/04/2009 11:21

jools when are you testing women? go on and do it soon to prove im physic!

OP posts:
mermaidspurse · 09/04/2009 11:27

barbie for you. bloody woman, bloody interviews - you are meant to be r-e-l-a-x-i-n-g.
I stopped a taxi driver in plymouth once and begged him to take me to an industrial estate in some god forsaken place (errand for dh, I don't make a good white van diver!)Its that awful sense of panic driving, lost and having to be somewhere important.
Love the sound of he car we can all stay in it when we visit, and it beats a picasso hands down!
It is a good thing that you have been to the drs and taking note of what barbie HQ is up to. sending a big hug and strict orders to sink into sunbed with a book and very early cocktal.x
