For all of us who have shared so much, tears, hopes, laughter and dreams. May our friendships stay strong and as healthy as we all our.
Here is to our happy ending...we deserve it

Bluesatinsash is right, lots of Barbie -pampering required. I'm not sure I'd be up for accupuncture myself but it does seem to work. I've decided to book Gracie - pampering things like massage, indian head massage, etc, and see if it helps me to relax.

barbie1 · 24/03/2009 13:40

the thing is blue, i have loads of that stuff...ewcm or what ever its called i never have told a soul this but sometimes there is so much that i always carry a fresh pair of knickers with me and some wipes

barbie runs and hides in embarresment......

bluesatinsash · 24/03/2009 13:40

Its not sore at all, honestly, and I have a huge needle phobia...

bluesatinsash · 24/03/2009 13:43

That's all good and don't be , your womb is v. healthy (and juicy ).

mermaidspurse · 24/03/2009 13:48

ok, no grapefruit then... the thing I hate about our bodies letting us down like this is that all the things that used to happen are now big things, my bottom drawer is turning into a science lab. barbie your body will sort itself out and you will be so much stronger and healthier for it and we all cant wait to yell big pants at you.x

mermaidspurse · 24/03/2009 13:49

blue!!

barbie1 · 24/03/2009 13:51

mermaid you are so right, i feel the mc has robbed me of the fun of ttc, its all become such a big deal....im noever going to relax in another further pregnancies and that makes me feel sad too.

Oh barbie how blummin dissapointing there is no magic pill to put it all right. We pin all our hopes on these drs in white coats & forget they arent magicians.. Everyone tried to make me feel better by saying - at least you're healthy & normal, but in a perverse way you want something to be wrong so we have an answer, & more importantly a cure!
I think blue is right - you had alot of pressure - you hear about girls doin exams & missing periods, think your last year is a tad more stressful than a GCSE! Try some yoga or pilates and swimming every day (you're in the right place!) relaxing types of exercise - tai chi even? It will all come normal eventually hon.. We have to have faith - im on 2 day wait before I try early test, and if I am its attempt no 5, but we all have to believe that we will all get our much loved little ones eventually, its just we have alot more hurdles & bridges to cross than most.. Chin up sweetie.. Maybe you are having very light periods, you still have 2 days each month, maybe you are OV after all if all is 'normal'?

mermaidspurse · 24/03/2009 14:04

I am really glad that your mum is coming out to visit

barbie1 · 24/03/2009 14:05

why do you girls know what to say to cheer me and make my cry, I wish i could hug each and everyone of you, i really cant express how much you all mean to me...
I will try and relax and im going to look into the needle thingy, my gym offers classes so im going to add myself to a few.
You are right i am healthy im not someone who has too much to worry about in that sense, im very lucky. There is no way that we wont all get our babies, we are all too strong to give up and when we become weak we have each other to lean on until we are strong enough to go again. We have found each other for a reason, we started the journey so lets all finish, onwards and upwards!!!!!!

Ill drink too that (not grapefruit though!)

4everhopeful · 24/03/2009 14:42

Ahh thats the spirit my darlin B! I do believe in positive thinking! I love you all so much too! Honestly dont know how we'd of got thru this without each other.. Someone should make a film about us & our journey! Wheres villagemum and her book writing skills eh?! Ahh you can get some bd in with dh, prob not gourmet style tho & for gods sake dont even think about al fresco as we dont want to be posting to barbiethedubaijailbird!!

Molliemooma · 24/03/2009 14:53

Barbie Sending you a huge hug, posted on our other thread too, but will repeat here RELAX, CHILL OUT I know it's easier said than done, but definately think all the suggestions on here (apart from the grapefruit juice ) should be taken up on! Hopefully this delay will just mean your body will be so fit, healthy and relaxed that the next one will be a "keeper"
Blue Juicy?
4ever Good luck with testing
Gracie Sounds like you have the right idea with all your treats!

Curlywurlee · 24/03/2009 18:51

Hello all

Lol at your "juicy" chat. My iphone shows most recent posts first and it nearly caused a choking incident at work when I read your posts . Cheeky Blue

Sorry I wasn't around to hold your hand today Barbie, I was trying to read posts on my phone but it has a fit if I try to log in. I'm so happy for you sweetie. I know answers would be good but maybe the all clear is just what your body needs to kickstart it back to normal. Have a fantastic time with your Mum and don't let it get in the way of some good quality blipping with DH

4ever it's so lovely to read your upbeat posts. It made me feel really hopeful for us all. I'll have fingers and everything crossed for a positive test for you sweetie. I do have a sneaky suspicion that we will have quite a lot of good news on our forum this month

Good luck with the 2ww Ginger and mermaid keep us posted!!!!

VJ sabs lionstar and scamper hope you are all well. Liking the big pants VJAYBIGPANTS hee hee. Definitely you should post a bump piccy. Thanks for sharing your names with us too

Good luck tomorrow mollie with both work and bd'ing

gracie i'm off to buy the grays anatomy dvd not sure if it'll turn DH on but worth a try!!! You've done so well to cope with the visit from your friend. I'm not sure I would have coped so well even after 6 months. You deserve a lot of pampering

I have good news myself. We finally got the results and DH and I have no chromosomal abnormalities. So the consultant suggest we get on with it and let them know when we are pregnant. I'm hoping we haven't left it too late this month. Visits from friends and family meant that the military operation went out the window and we only managed day 15 (and hopefully day 17). I'm hoping this is enough as I think I ovulate around day 16

Big hello to MM ginger VM and anyone I've missed xxxx

VJaybigpants · 24/03/2009 19:05

Wow, we do talk don't we. I think all the other pg ladies should add the bigpants to their names too, it will help us keep track
barbie all the other girlies have said it before me, but I will say it too, you have had a lot to cope with you over the last year, and your body must have just sat back to let you cope with it, now it's time for you to relax and I'm sure your body will kick start itself again, although I think it has already what with your af's starting to return, so hopefully not long now

curly good news girl, now GO FOR IT

Love the juicy blue

Curlywurleelittlepants · 24/03/2009 19:45

I want a new name too VJ

VJaybigpants · 24/03/2009 20:00

Curlywurleelittlepants · 24/03/2009 20:24

I'll be wanting big pants soon though

gingermumi · 24/03/2009 20:39

Wow...so many posts. PMSL at some and cried at others! Barbie am glad all ok, but it must be stressful feeling it could all take so long, though you might find that just knowing that makes things happen. It strange, but just having information helps you relax a bit sometimes. Not sure that makes sense!

My conception story is not as funny but thought i would tell you as it shows how we end up doing anything to conceive... ds was known as 'woo' for a while (window of opportunity), we took a long time to make him as you know and were doing ovulation tests etc while waiting to see specialist. i had been out with my friend and had food poisoning (honestly it was!)and had been ill all day. Blardy test showed surge so i said to dh that basically he had a 5min window of opportunity and then i was going to sleep! we did the deed and next thing we know ds on the way! Hence WOO!

Am due on on monday, the tests i got say early testing but don't say how early (says 6 days after concpetion but obviously have no idea when that was exactly, can only guess. Did a test today..wishful thinking i suppose and BFN but it is VERY early. Will try again thursday, that would be four days early so it might pick something up. Have been symptom spotting but was convinced i was pregnant last month and then nothing so am trying not take any notice of my sore boobs and get my hopes up too much .

VJ am loving the new name - ds is 14 months old and am still in big pants (c sect scar still sensitive) so perhaps I'm gingergiantpants!

Waves to all, had better go an get things ready for the morning!

SabsBigPants · 24/03/2009 21:49

hello ladies, hope your all well - wow, ive missed out on so much on here, can never catch up!

Testing to see if my name change has occured, first time ive done it!

Barbie, so happy to hear your results are positive...I think blue is right, you have had a stressful year, you need to relax and what better place to be than by the beach! Have fun with your mum

good luck to ginger, mermaid and any1 else on their 2ww...

good to hear your good news too curly..you'll be on ur 2ww soon too!

hope all is going well for you VJ scamper and lionstar..i have a bit of a bump now and cant do some of my trousers up

Sabs waves to mm, blue 4ever vm if she is lurking and any1 else ive missed out

we've got a james bond theme party with work 2mrw, the place where i work is closing down after 5 years to merge with another company, so having a big bash! havent been out on a school night in ages, will probably end up falling asleep in a corner somewhere!
