What are the chances

Have been ttc now for 17 months - cycle is more or less 26 days, and I assumed that I should be bding on day 12 but do you think it would be possible to get pg by doing the deed on day 10 and furthermore for me to be experiencing feelings of morning sickness as early as day 18? For the last three mornings I have woke up with terrible headaches and today I have been feeling really grotty all day with terrible waves of naseau and no appetite (which is really not like me).

I obviously really wanted to ask you that as I appear to have repeated myself.

If you didn't get your BFP until a week after your AF was due then I would say you are definitely not as far along as you think. Perhaps you ovulated later that month? Were you temping that month?

No problem nunnnie I had both scans - tbh I can't remember if the abdominal scan showed the same as the internal; when I heard her saying " can't really see anything yet" I just went into a panic and started fearing the worst and didn't take in much of what was said thereonin. DH assured me though that it wasn't anything negative. What the midwife did say though is that a couple of days does make all the dirrerence so although nothing showed yesterday, in a few days time it could all change. AnnasBanans there is a chance I could have ov later - periods have never been regular since ds was born, and I wasn't temping. I am feeling positive about next scan so fingers crossed x

Lots of luck , Aliobster - my dates moved back at my 12 week scans with both my two Dc's and I'm still convinced that they got it wrong! I'm sure it'll be ifne and there'll be a lovely stong heartbeat for you

I'm omly measuring 5 week, should be 7+5. Have to go back next Monday but have been told to prepare for the worst. Absolutely heartbroken

Pet, I am so sorry - this has happened to me on my second and third miscarriage. I was dated way behind what I knew I was (I kept a record of all my AF dates).

They have been honest with you. And I will be honest with you the heartbreak hurts like hell, I have been there. But you will get past this, you find a new "normal" and will never forget.

Hi Alibobster. Is it not possible that if you only got BFP on 28th Feb that you might only have been 10 or 11 dpo at that date? (ie you could have conceived 17th or 18th Feb?) Especially as you got repeated BFNs right up until the 28th, it seems as though you got a BFP at the first possible day a test would show it ie 10dpo approx.

If that was the case then you would now be 4 weeks 5 days approx?

My AF was v late and I got my BFP on CD 36, like you I did tests every day. I must have ov'd very late that cycle. My scan dating also confirmed I must have been around 10dpo when I got my BFP and I now have a healthy six week old boy

Meant to add, I know you say your cycle is usually 26 days, but mine was usually 28 days bang on, and the cycle I got BFP on I quite obviously ov'd late on.

I'm not to bothered about going back next Monday because as far as I'm concerned the pregnancy is over and I can't feel any worse than this.Floatylight I would love to belive this to be true for me but did not bd 10 days before - did do 6 days before but that would have been soon to show on a test x

Thanks Littlebellsmum, your post made me smile It would be a miracle if it was good news next week. They said I measure at 5 weeks but I didn't get a BFP till I was five weeks, but don't know if that counts for anything. The sac and yolk sac have grown since last week and I'm still experiencing symptoms!! Today has just been like a bad dream and just want to get back to nomal now x
