wasabi Those days are rubbish aren't they - still bit of a misery, so have taken day off work as it wasn't helping will go in on monday. Can imagine I will be the same if a friends tells me they are PG [sad}

Jools hopefully they just symptoms

funtime how are you? Are you feeling ok at the mo?

Yellow is v. quiet isn't it... hope BDing isn't too boring!

iggypiggy · 17/04/2009 10:04

thanks for hugs kitty

whatsfortea · 17/04/2009 11:45

Hi, it is quiet here, is everyone looking forward to a fun weekend?

iggy, sorry to hear you are feeling down, it took me a while last year after my mc to be able to talk about it without crying. But it does get easier.

After moaning about my temps not going up they finally did, but not really sure when I ovulated, assuming I did. And I suspect the BD fest peaked too soon this month so not feeling too hopeful. Although am already symptom spotting, god, will I ever learn?! Oh well, need to do something to pass the next 2 weeks!

ray81 · 17/04/2009 20:30

Hi guys,

Well i am happy to report that i had my scan today and i have a lovely blob that is the correct size and has a very good heartbeat.

sorry iggy i know it cant be easy for you and i realise how you must be feeling i remember it well from when i had my mc in nov. it will get easier i promise.

Yellow good luck with the bding you're right that it gets boring after a while!!!!

funtimewincies · 19/04/2009 18:57

Iggy - I logged in to check how YOU were today . I'm fine, thanks for asking, in that I'm feeling a lot more relaxed after the scan. I'm still VERY sick though and feel grim most of the time. Should be settling down soon as I'm 8 weeks today so probably at the peak.

Sorry to hear that you're feeling all over the place, wasabi has a good memory as I did indeed call them maudlin muggings, those horrible teary moments just when you think that you've got a lid on it. Hugs all round.

Jools - sound like those symptoms are kicking in !

Ray - fabulous news. How far along are you now?

Loads of luck for this month yellow and anyone else gearing up for the 2ww.

kittycatcat · 20/04/2009 08:46

Hi all

Hope you had lovely weekend?

Iggy how are you feeling?
Ray that's fab, Will you put the pic on your profile?

I felt sick all day yesterday. I have had a feeling of nausea on and off for about a week now, but it was bad yesterday. Have also had a cramp in my thigh, andpains in the ovaries area. I got my hopes up. But today it's faded quite alot and AF is due Thurs or Fri so i will have to wait and see :-(

x

iggypiggy · 20/04/2009 09:42

whatsfortea fingers crossed for you this month!

Ray that's excellent news about the scan!

funtime ah thank you! I feel 1000 times better today - bascially was complete misery last Thurs and Fri - then weekend was lovely and now I feel much much better.

What is wierd is I am a very unteary person - so is all a bit odd for me - never usually get upset - but it kind of takes over at the mo. Having said that - all bleeding etc seems to have stopped - whihc has coincided with feeling better - so maybe hormones calming down a little.

I guess is good you still feeling sick Funtime - but hopefully will settle soon.

kitty have fingers crossed for you too!

Pinkyblue123 · 20/04/2009 10:13

Hi All, gosh it has been busy here while I have been away.

Big hugs to Iggy I did not have a scan to confirm my 11 week MC had completed. The doc said that if I was still bleeding after two weeks to come back but if not not to bother. The bleeding tapered off at two weeks and then for thew next 3 months I had two week AFs so was scanned then and they said that it just takes a while for some womens hormones to sort them self out.

Wasbabi it is so difficult when people are PG no matter how pleased you are for them a little part of you understandably feels a bit sad.

Whatsfortea it is so true what you say about the thermometer thing, I have noticed I feel happer the higher my temp at the mo, how sad is that!!

Yellow good luck with BDing!

Good news on MS front Jools (no matter how awful it is good sign)

Great news Ray

Hi to anyone i have missed, so many of us

AF due on Friday, temp still up. Got my appointment through for the Gyney 8th May, surprisingly quick. Noticed they have not referred me to the main fertility unit so guess they think any problen I may have is minor. This part of two week wait is worst argh!

Joolsiam · 20/04/2009 10:20

Glad you are feeling better Iggy - there will still be ups and downs, but hopefully the worst is over now.

I'm getting slightly more symptoms but still can't quite believe I am 5 weeks PG !! Have booked a GP appt for tomorrow and hoping the GP is sympathetic to an early scan. I feel so, so different to last time - hope this is a good thing

Hope you feel better soon Funtime, although the presence of symptoms must be strangely reassuring

It has been a very quiet weekend on this thread - how is everyone else ??

C1NDY · 20/04/2009 11:05

Hi All,

Thank you for all your kind words in this difficult time.

Iggy I posted some time on Emmy's Angel but didn't go back as I guess I was in a mood or depressed but I am back to me again. So sorry, if I missed a message that you wanted me to reply to.

Thank you yellowflowers, wasabipeanut and Iggy for thinking of me, you hardly know me but seeing you all taking the time to think of me... well it made me teary so thank you.

I am now on the otherside, so as to speak and waiting for AF to arrive... how long will it take after a MC ... I had one before but as I was nearly 13 weeks... I had a lot of bleeding and am now thinking it will never return.

I will try at the end of June and July again but am not rushing as I want to lose some weight and get my fitness up. Can't wait to TTC again!

Love to you all
Cindy

Yellowflowers · 20/04/2009 11:33

Hi cindy - sounds positive love and pleased you are feeling a bit better. iggy also - thinking of you too.

Hi everyone else. We are still in middle of bd fest - decided not to temp this month so don't know whether it will be 30 day cycle or 35-38 day cycle so have to bd for longer. Today is officially cd 15 but I had ewcm last thurs so maybe I have ovulated early or got dates wrong - who knows.

Lovely sunny day though. Hope I can find time to get out for walk.

Quick update from me I had my 20 week scan today & everything is where is should be & growing as it should and guess what we are having a little GIRL, we are all very happy as we already have a boy & were hoping it would be a girl. Love to everyone sending lots of baby dust your way ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

kittycatcat · 20/04/2009 12:45

Congratulations Smileycat that is brilliant news x

C1NDY · 20/04/2009 15:11

SmileyC@t Lovely news about having a girl... arrrrh I am chuffed for you. I have a little girl DD aged 2.7 months... its nice to have one of each!! you can then hang up your boots eh? Take care and doesn't time fly by.

Joolsiam · 20/04/2009 15:23

Great news on the scan Smileycat I'm secretly hoping for twins - one of each to get it over with before I get too ancient !!

Yellowflowers - you sound quite chilled out this cycle - hopefully that is a good omen

My nausea is getting worse today and is now (I think) worse than last time. Hoping this is a good sign My poor old diet is out the window though - I have to eat every 2 hours at the mo

Pinkyblue123 · 20/04/2009 16:15

Great new Smileycat

Anyone else addicted to Fertility Friend?

kittycatcat · 20/04/2009 16:28

i was, but haven't paid up for the full version yet but widh i had. AF due Thurs / Fri but had nausea for 2 days and really want to test tomorrow but dont want to be disapointed, but also cant wait.....argh

Joolsiam · 20/04/2009 16:41

I paid up for a year quite recently and have around ten months left I never temped, but enjoyed putting in all my symptoms so I could recognise what false PG symptoms kept getting my hopes up

Don't test yet Kittycat - be strong. Early testing is fraught with stress and disappointment. I was 2 days late when I tested - couldn't believe I held out that long

kittycatcat · 20/04/2009 16:52

Great willpower jools am impressed

i will try to resist

funtimewincies · 20/04/2009 18:50

Congrats Smiley! I'm determined not to find out, but I might well crack when the time comes !

whatsfortea · 20/04/2009 19:24

iggy really glad to hear you are starting to feel better and had a nice weekend.

C1ndy, really glad you are feeling better too and staying positive.

pinkyblue, I am also a bit obsessed with FF, and have just put my temp in for this morning. I paid for 6 months when I started using it and I also got some free days by following a link somewhere, although not entirely sure how that happened! It's been a bit annoying this month though as one minute it was telling me I O'd last Tuesday, and then after a couple more days it changed its mind and put it 2 days earlier on the Sunday - which would be far better timing for the BD action but now I dont know what to think. Just wait and see I suppose and try to resist my ever increasing urge to start the POAS stage of things!

kittycat sounds exciting, fingers crossed for you for Thurs/Fri, at least it's only a few more days

yellow hope the BD fest is still going strong!

C1NDY · 21/04/2009 13:13

Just waiting for my AF to return again, but I guess it may take a while

Jools just to let you know I read a couple of your posts weeks back and that you had started the Cambridge Diet, I am off to see a Counsellor tonight... would like to lose 3 stones, and it sound great. Do you recommend it? I suppose the vitamins in the pack will get me back on my feet and also drinking the correct water?

Whats4tea Hi yar. I will have to reacquint (is that how you spell it??) myself with everyone again! What cycle are you?

KittyC@t hi I remember you joined us when i got my bfp.

I am on FF and am re-shaping it back to Fertility rather than using the pg web-page. I am getting everything ready for the TTC... luckily I saved all my ovualation sticks that i got off the internet, was going to give them away!! silly ole me.

Well as you know I am 40 now, so the race will be on again to try and have a little one by next year. It will happen, I know it will.... ...

Joolsiam · 21/04/2009 13:19

Hi C1ndy - yes, I thought Cambridge was a fantastic diet - really suited me as I could just forget about food and concentrate on losing weight The first few days are hard, but after that, you're not even hungry, and the weight loss can be quite spectacular. There is a chat room attached to the Cambridge web site - I used that a lot for help and advice but there is also a support thread on MNet in the weight loss section. I'm still finding it odd eating real food and feeling a little odd about putting 4lb back on in a week, even though I know most of that is bloating - have blown up like a balloon today

I had to do what you are doing to Fertility Friend aswell - then realised recently that I really could have done with keeping the info in my pregnancy diary to compare with this one - I just deleted it all as I couldn't bear to look at it ...

All booked in with the GP now and early scan request has been submitted ....

iggypiggy · 21/04/2009 14:10

Thanks for the info pinky is useful to know. x

Am also on FF - I did change over to Preg FF, but just logged back in to normal FF and added int he MC details - so now it looks like I had a 66 day cycle!

C1indy glad to see you back xx I have no idea when my AF might turn up.. guess will just wait and see

smiley lovely news about having a girl

Jools excellent news about the early scan request - looking back am v. glad I had mine cos I actually fell off my horse the day before the MC happened - as I already knew that I was going to have an MC I didn't worry that falling off the horse did it. Although I only fell off the horse cos I was feeling so rubbish and wasn't concentrating... oops! Anyway - yours will be good news - but just generally am pleased I had it and would have one again. xx

Big hello to everyone else - including funtime, Wasabi, Yellow, Whatsfortea, ray and kittycat

wasabipeanut · 21/04/2009 14:12

Ray and Smiley thats great news on both of your scans. Good to see that some of us have managed to graduate from the grapefruit massive with honours!

C1ndy what can I say my lovely? I was so sorry to see that post of yours a few weeks ago but am relieved for you that its over now and that you can look to the future. You sound very strong which is great but just remember that we are here if and when you want to vent and rant and rage at the bitter unfairness of it all. I really needed that when I had my mc and in the aftermath. Come to think of it I still have my sad and angry moments even now.

Iggy are you out there? how are you?

Kitty I hope you have stayed firm and not tested early. The anti early test police will be on your case if not! Only a couple of days to go....

Jools hope you are/aren't (delete as appropiate) feeling too green!

Well I am getting all excited as I had a temp dip this morning and have had some pinky brown CM today. I am about 7 or 8 days PO I think. I am getting all convinved it is implantation. Somebody slap me please.

Hard.
