Hi everyone.

Well Broodz was right. All those bfp's are going to start rolling in again this month.

IGGY - congratulations!!! I am thrilled for you!

Queenie - when is af due??? Just remember what iggy wrote just yesterday about feeling af coming! I have a very good feeling about you!!!

Roll on the bfp's (including my own thanks powers that be!)

LovelyMonster · 05/03/2009 15:41

LovelyMonster · 05/03/2009 15:42

sorry just re-read message!! he he

queenie1 · 05/03/2009 16:22

hi cindy and smileycat - great to hear from you both. smiley - can't believe how quickly time flies and that you're already 14 weeks!!

lovelymonster - thanks for you're good feeling. I so hope you're right. I was expecting my AF around Monday so am late now but in past, my BFPs have tended to show up later than day of AF so trying to hold out so as to stay sane and save money! Tempted to test tomorrow morning if AF not here by then. Boobs are getting more sore now...

iggypiggy · 05/03/2009 16:27

Thanks c1ndy and Smiley and lovely

Still feeling like might not be true... have diff test to try tomorrow morning!

Got posh dinner tonight - so will have to pretend am drinking and not drink...

yellowflowers · 05/03/2009 16:48

Hi iggy - you could just say you are on antibiotics - no one ever queries that or if they do just say ear infection or something else you can't see.

I saw a male friend last night whose wife (and him) took a year and a quarter to conceive - he made me feel a lot better about things because officially we're just on nine months (though haphazardly a bit longer). They now have a gorgeous daughter.

flintski · 05/03/2009 17:43

Hey iggy that is amazing news!! - i am so p[leased to see more BFPs on this thread - looks like we might all get luck before 999 posts yellow!!

LovelyMonster · 05/03/2009 17:49

Yellow - Even though this ttc business is so emotionally draining we must try our hardest so stay positive, which i think we are all doing so well, whilst maintaining sanity of course!!!! It WILL happen. in the mean time we all have each other and the bfp's to keep our hopes up!

Iggy- So stoked for you. Enjoy. Slowly sip on one glass of wine. Take it to the loo with you and tip it down the sink. As others get tipsy they wont even notice. If they do just tell them. If theres one thing ive learnt from my misc is that I dont believe telling people will jinx it - just gives you more support systems. Whilst drunk at new year i confessed my pg and mc to a good friend and guess what! She confessed her pg and mc that happened at the same time. we are now fantastic support systems for each other and hugely regret not telling each other at the time!

Queenie - sounds so positive for you!!! I did not get my bfp until 5 days post af due. huge good feelings coming yr way!!!

Jools - dont go too hard out on the dieting - is not good for ttc. im sure you are beautiful no matter what size as long as you are happy in your own skin.

well ladies i am signing off for the next two and a half weeks. computer being fixed tomorrow then off to jamaica on monday. af will be arriving half way thru hol (dont have good feeling about this month). But if it does then will indulge in quality jamaican rum testing session (when in rome...). Will check in if can drag self from pool/sunlounger/dolphin swimming/rum factory. Until then baby dust for all. I want to see loads of bfps by the time i am back!!!!!

Virtual farewell hugs!

Broodzilla · 05/03/2009 18:28

IGGY!!! Wohoo! A line is a line. (I know it doesn't seem real though, does it?) That's fantastic news though!

Wasabi good on you for getting jiggy with it early - it gets tedious when it's focused around OV... this way you might even remember that BD is fun for it's own sake too!

Queenie Seriously, you have got signs... I've still got AF-type cramps nearly every day, and just like wasabi said, I keep running to the bathroom to check and am so relieved every time it's just lotiony CM. Fingers xed.

Lovely if you're checking in - Bon Voyage! I'm sure a couple of weeks in the sun will be a wonderful way to take your mind of TTC, and make sure you tell AF that she's NOT invited!

C1ndy Good to hear from you, glad you're lurking around here still. I hope your MS passes soon... I'm sure the whole "it's for a good cause" gets tiring after a while.

Speaking of tiring... I know I'm still jet-lagged (and probably suffering the after effects of the foodpoisoning) but my gosh, I'm SO. TIRED. ALL. THE. TIME. I've had a nap every day since I've been back, and I feel like going to bed again now.

Anyway, I'm off to go stretch out on the couch and catch up on Desperate Housewives.

Babydust to everyone. It's the month for BFPs galore. Let's prove the statistics wrong and give the maternity wards a run for their money in November!

funtimewincies · 05/03/2009 18:56

Trying to stay away a bit at the moment as the ttc thing is really getting me down and I'm trying to be a little more calm this month; too many phantom pg symptoms over the last couple of months .

I just popped into see what the news is and CONGRATULATIONS IGGY ! You're preggers mate, FMU or not!

Yellow - thanks for the FF offer, I'll see what this month brings and maybe take you up next month.

wasabipeanut · 05/03/2009 21:10

Funtime - I wondered where you had got to lately. I miss you although I do understand why you might need to take a break.

Queenie - I have a really good feeling for you hon. Have my fingers crossed for a good result tomorrow if you give in to that urge!

Lovelymonster - Bon Voyage!

C1ndy - if you're still lurking I hope the morning sickness passes soon. I do remember very clearly how vile it is.

yellowflowers · 05/03/2009 22:18

If you are still around lovelymonster then have a fabulous holiday - I'll be in 2ww when you get back.

Thank you all for your lovely messages

I tested again this morning (obsessed?! Moi?!) this time with clearblue and was definate positive - very quickly!

Want to still post on here as would feel wrong to leave. Plus who knows what will happen... But one big thing for me is that at least I know I can get pregnant, whether this one sticks or not... I was convinced I would be totally infertile.

The not drinking was fine last night - I always had a glass in front of me - and no-one noticed that I wasn't really touching it...

funtime sorry to hear you feeling low

Also - for those of you that are PG or have been before - how do you deal with MS without people at work noticing? I only feel a bit nauseous at the mo - but seems early -s o am convinced am going to be very sick at some point soon or am i jumping ahead of myself?

yellowflowers · 06/03/2009 09:03

Brilliant iggy - did you do anything different this month?

When I started on mumsnet I used different name. looked up first post yesterday and it was in Jan 2008 meaning I have been trying properly for longer than I thought - hilariously (or not) that month I had all the signs and thought I was pregnant too - I seem to have thought it every single month) - did not expect to still be on ttc board 14 months later. How long the rest of you been on here?

OP posts:
wasabipeanut · 06/03/2009 09:04

Morning Iggy - yep you're definitely preggers!

If you are feeling queasy this early you might be in for a bit of a rough ride. I really struggled with morning sickness when I was pg with my ds and it was horrid. Eating regularly is v important - sometimes I could head off the nausea with a cereal bar or dried fruit or something. Sugary things can sometimes help.

Work was a toughie - I confided in a colleague so he could cover for me if necessary and that did work to some extent. I remember taking one day off sick because I felt so vile. To be honest if it is quite people might guess but is that the end of the world? They will prob speculate behind your back rather than ask you outright!

queenie1 · 06/03/2009 09:12

iggy - that's brilliant news. you must be so excited!!

I was just about to test this morning - but got cold feet at the last minute. I so want to be PG and don't want a bfn to tell me it's all over.

I asked DH what he thought I should do. He said try to wait til Monday as I've never had clear positives until about a week late (and now I know it's because I OV so late).

Last night, tenderness in boobs felt intense and I felt convinced I was PG. But also, low back ache also intense which is what I get just before AF so also doubt about it. Could go either way but at the moment I want to hold onto this possibility a bit longer by not testing...

funtime - huge hugs to you. TTC is such a rollercoaster. It's v normal to feel down from time to time (esp after lots of MCs). Agree time out can be just what you need.

wasabi - thanks for your good feeling. Hope you're gearing up for a major BD fest over next week or so? xx

wasabipeanut · 06/03/2009 09:42

Queenie - I thought we were getting some more news this morning! I was thinking of you as I was getting ready this morning. I thik wheb you are officially a week late would be a good time to test - especially if your knockers are still sore.

And yes, we are gearing up. Its wierd though - I am CD10 and in the past would have been getting increased CM (sorry if TMI) but at the moment I'm not.

I have a feeling this mc has changed my cycles again - I might not even ov again this month

iggypiggy · 06/03/2009 09:46

yellow yes - did do something different... tried to BD every day - which we pretty much managed - and def over the right time... we tailed out a bit towards the end, but I was in the 2ww by then...

Also - DH gave up smoking at Christmas - which I think made a difference...

Also - I came off pill in Oct 2007 and tried for about 4/5 months, then stopped and started again 6 months ago.

Wasabi - is my boss that is the problem - she is in office next to mine and bathroom is next to that! She has spent every week since I got married telling me not to get PG cos it would be so bad for her etc etc.

queenie Thanks! I was exactly same as you - which is why I tried to put off testing till at least AF was due.. I have my fingers crossed for you. xx
