I know - testing way too early. I am very naughty.
It's just internet cheapies though

Hello all,

apologies for lack of posting - have had a lovely busy half term. Bit of a shock when the alarm went off at 6 this morning though - aren't Mondays hard!

Hello kyte and hang on in there there hopefor and yellow - still a bit early for testing but I can't lecture as always cave myself!!

Sorry funtime and whatsfor - its just such a s**t feeling when AF arrives isn't it (is it for definite?) This time it took me a good few days to start even vaguely feeling positive about TTC again - I hope your DH/DPs are looking after you.

jools - so cycle buddy - how are you feeling. Am on CD7 today so gearing up for a fun week! Am finding getting in the mood tricky especially as going back to work means early starts but I'm sure I'll get in the swing of it soon

anyone else i've forgotten - hello! (its early - sorry!)

kittycatcat · 23/02/2009 08:49

Morning all.

Sorry funtime and whatsfortea*

My cycle came and went as it should so hurrah to that.

Hope you all had lovely weekends

yellowflowers · 23/02/2009 09:17

Hello, having a bit of rollercoaster here. Was quietly confident because had very veiny boobs again last night and tingly nipples plus keep having twinges down there. Then went to loo before bed last night and there was blood - pinky brown so I hoped maybe implantation but still some there this morning and this time darker. It's only 10dpo at most.

OP posts:
Joolsiam · 23/02/2009 09:27

Good news on your cycle Kittycat and hang in there Yellow - anything out of ordinary is promising at this stage. Your luteal phase doesn't normally change very much at all, so if you are certain of when you ovulated, what you are seeing could indeed by implantation. Fingers crossed

Hi Flintski - CD9 here - or could be CD10 as AF (quite unusually) started in full flow at around 10pm so I decided the next day was CD1. I'm not really in the mood either - am pretty sure it is because of the 10 pound weight gain since the MC in Nov. Started the Cambridge Diet today and will stick to it religiously till I get that BFP - hopefully the weight will melt away and I'll feel a bit more like BD'ing again - I think Friday will be THE night.

All this talk of jungles - well I'd never trimmed or waxed before now, but all my body hair started growing really fast when I was briefly PG, so I had to get the scissors out - the result wasn't pretty, so I'm eyeing up the Champneys voucher I got for Christmas and wondering whether to ask for a wax down there. I'm quite shy though, and very weight conscious at the mo so I may leave it and treat myself when I have lost some weight

Oh dear, I was just popping in quickly before starting work and have written an essay Happy Monday everyone

yellowflowers · 23/02/2009 09:58

thanks jools - don;t know what to think but feeling very miserable about it

OP posts:
wasabipeanut · 23/02/2009 14:34

Yellow - don't get miserable hon, this could well me implanatation bleeding. If you're only 10 days po then surely thats quite a likely explanation?

I must admit I have also been wondering myself which is really silly. On Saturday my stomach felt really odd and I've been having comtinued nutty dreams and waking up in a sweat. I've also been having twinges in boob, nips and, erm, fanjo. Sense of smell also on overdrive. Keep telling myself that there must just be more progesterone than usual sloshing around which would account for all of these symptoms but still did a test 1st thing sunday morning - BFN obviously.

Then this morning I had some brown cm. On one hand I think "well it is possible" on the other I think "don't be so bloody silly."

Dunno what to think really. Its been 28 days now since the last of my mc so, I would be due anytime now really.

Funetime and Whatsfortea - sorry to hear yyou're out this month. I will probably be joining you soon.

yellowflowers · 23/02/2009 16:44

wasabi - that's hopeful. Maybe we should both be hopeful....

Anyone who has had implantation bleeding - does it ever have bits in it - not clotting, but stringy bits?

flintski · 23/02/2009 19:15

Fingers crossed for you yellow - i have to say that about 6 months ago - i had some spotting on CD21 and thought it might be implantation bleeding but got AF like usual. I nearly didn't type this because i don't want to disappoint you but I know how crap it is to build your hopes up and then they are dashed. It does sound promising though and I really hope it is implantation. wasabi sounds interesting for you too - you do hear of people falling straight after a mc don't you.

Good luck with the diet jools - its sure to make you feel good and that can only help in the bedroom dept (definitely does for me ) - I have no idea when i ovulate - i have sort cycles so my GP says I probably ovulate around CD9-12 but I'm sure sometimes it is the usual CD14-15. OPKs don't seem to work for me so i guess i just have to cover all bases!

Feel a bit more relaxed for the next couple of months too as it would actually be quite awkward to have a baby in Nov or Dec as my husband has his own shop, plus I'm hopefully starting a new job in Sept - thats not to say I won't be over the moon if I am lucky but it does take the pressure off a bit.

got to do some work........

funtimewincies · 23/02/2009 19:42

The witch arrived today with hald the coven in tow .

Did a very depressing calculation of my ttc chances today.

12 chances a year, but only one tube. Both ovaries kept, so roughly 6 on the tube side. Let's be optimistic and allow for another 2 from the other side, which in theory could make it to the right place by osmosis.

So down to 8 chances a year. Next, take into account that I appear to have on average 4 annovulatory cycles a year. Again, lets be honest and say that 2 of those might be on the missing tube side, so now down to 6 chances.

6 chances a year! I'm not even beginning to take into account the likelihood of another mc and the couple of cycles that it takes me to feel like ttc again.

And so the time passes, in a haze of ttc and mc. Stuck in a limbo of not being able to face giving up but not knowing how long I can keep going for. All just too pants.

Sorry for the self-pitying wallow

funtimewincies · 23/02/2009 19:43

Sorry again, I know that there are women in much worse positions than me, just give a swift slap and a gin and I'll be a right as rain soon.

hopeforbundleofjoy · 23/02/2009 21:14

im being quite good now have packed the tests away as im moving this weekend! am not going to test till im in my new home!

Funtime don't loose hope I only have one tube & one ovary & managed to conceive
I did temps & sticks for the 3 months leading up to my +ive & I def ovulated all 3 months, so it can happen, my gyne says the remaining ovary makes up for the lost one, same if one is damaged & produces enough eggs each month to keep you in with a chance

whatsfortea · 23/02/2009 21:39

funtime, what kyte says, step away from the stats, that way madness surely lies!

Witch got me too, so time to start all over again. This month I will be drinking even more grapefruit juice, staying properly hydrated during the day (no OPKs for me this month) and shagging every day from 10 to 20! (well, thats the plan....)

yellow and wasabi, fingers crossed for you both.

And good luck everyone else who is currently mid shagfest or on 2ww.

I've updated the list, havent seen it for a while (and also to add myself to it, hope that's okay)

yellowflowers · 24/02/2009 10:13

sorry funtime and whatsfortea.

Bleeding is very odd and sporadic. Have some cramps but not like normal. Temp shot up this morning. Squinted at internet cheapie and can;t decide wheteher I was imagining faint line or not, and was after the ten mins anyway as fell back to sleep for half an hour, so still know nothing... thought about bringing some internet cheapies to office to try throughout day but decided that way madness lies. roll on tomorrow. DH birthday on Sunday - would be amazing to present him with a positive

OP posts:
Joolsiam · 24/02/2009 10:35

Oooh Yellow - baby vibes coming your way

yellowflowers · 24/02/2009 11:50

thanks jool - I teeter between optimistic and pessimistic. Hmmm - how you doing?

Here's something a bit embarrassing though and possibly tmi, but wondererd if anyone else had it. Two days ago (when the bleeding/spotting started), I just had overwhelming need that I needed my nipples sucked - not horniness in general, just really needed them sucked. Isn't that odd. My DH thought I was most odd!

Anyway is probably nothing and am still spotting so not getting hopes up (though I am, obviously).

OP posts:
iggypiggy · 24/02/2009 12:08

yellow have no idea about nipple thing but do hope is positive sign

I am feeling a bit nauseous - must be in my head tho at 6 DPO... oh dear - am obsessing already...

I just heard that someone I know is PG. Am pleased for her tho cos she been trying for about 4 yrs and was on clomid.

wasabipeanut · 24/02/2009 13:56

Funtime you are entitled to a maudlin post from time to time. Hell, we all are.

I do my finest ostrich impression every time I hear or see stats on conception. In addition to making me depressed about my own chances it makes me cross when I see all this "why you shouldn't leave it too late" crap. It may be a biological certainty but nobody ever has a go at the men do they? They don't say that men are being irresponsible by acting like overgrown teenagers for far too late in life do they? What the hell are we supposed to do? Drag them off the street?

And that will be Wasabi's rant for the day.

Hopeforbundleofjoy - good luck for moving this weekend!

Yellow - hmmm, well the nipple thing is new! Hope you're feeling ok. Its a bugger, the waiting isn't it? I was wondering about testing but then thought nope, there's no point in testing again yet. I will test at the weekend of nothing's happenned. The trouble is I can't say with any certainty that I am "late" because the 1st cycle after mc is always a bit funny. That said its now 6 weeks plus since it started and 11 days since I think I might have ov'd.

Who knows?

hopeforbundleofjoy · 24/02/2009 14:25

heya all.not sure if i should test tomorrow or wait till sataday now with all the stress of moving i dont realy want to be carrying hevey boxs if i am. im always bloted in the last couple of days is that a good sign???
