i am very honoured to start the april first thread (thanks george ) for the TTC for the cautious girls! (and not forgetting the blondes, dramaqueen )...and anyone else who like to join us.

hi rom lol.So i must have started to ovulate then on cd9 to cd12 according to calista cos just done it again and no signs of ovulation showing up! Is that not too soon to ovulate though?

no - it is early but entirely possible. you most probably ovulated on CD12. do you remember when you had peak EWCM?

Hi Rom & everyone else.

I'd gone quiet as got a BFP on thursday, i know that sounds silly but i just needed time for it to sink in! I have done numerous tests since then - yes I know money down the drain but just can't quite believe it.

I am trying to be very positive & think that nothing is going to go wrong this time - hoping for an early scan from the hospital, although this will stil not put my mind at rest as baby was okay at 6 weeks last time but at died by 9 weeks!

I am so excited & scared at the same time which is a very strange feeling!

Not sure when I'm due I've been on various sites & it is between 30th Dec & 2nd Jan. YIPEEEEE

rom - no more signs I'm sure i'm imagioning them, the sikky feeling has all but gone except when I eat (I think that's DH's cooking thou! ) CM still thin (BD last night and no spillage again (I know TMI) but DH was er close to the exit so to speak don't know if that means anything? am currently 6DPO (did test today cos it's our anniversary and nada not that I expected anything just wouldv'e been nice for DH)

debs i'm here, incidently CM when dry is non fertile I think.

I have a video i'd happily send to you if u like goes into temp charting and all. a friend has borrowed it for the mo but I can get it back if u like? CAT me and let me know.

deb - little chance of moping cos I'll be on holiday with the PIL when AF is due so they'll gladdly take me to the pub to drown my sorrows! actually from friday this week I won't have access to teh internet, well might do but I don't really want to spoil the mood of the holiday by sitting on here chatting to you guys at the PIl's house.

I'm day 28 now and think I ovulated on day 26 but could have been 24 (hoping it wasn't)as dh wasn't around till 26. Just using ewm etc no official tests. Well today I'm incredibly crampy, feel like I'm about to get my period but praying that it might be implantation although I didn't get this last time that I remember. So I now have a very long 2 wks to wait unless AF turns up and I have ovulation all wrong.
debbsy have a look on fertility friend website it has lots of info on the different types of mucus and what they mean.
Congrats to everybody on this thread with BFP - it has been an amazing thread.

Good morning everyone

Munz - like you I did a test yesterday but negative of course, only 7 dpo yesterday. Is it too early to get a positive, it must be mustnt it but like you I just wanted to try. It becomes addictive doesnt it but a total waste of money to try too early. Do you know if it is possible though to get a positive that early on or not as I will know next time then not to test too early.

Worried bev- yes thats too early! 9 dpo is the earliest you can hoep to see anythingm and even then most people find thats too early, 12dpo being your best bet if you cant wait! and i am queen of early testing so do know for sure!!.....
debs, yes try the online fertility sites as suggested, but just briefly you find your body makes different cm thro the month, you need (or rather sperm need!) slippery, stretchy 'just like raw egg white' mucus for them to be able to swim thro to get to egg, you will find it get thicker, creamier and stickier past O or after af, HTH

oh bella, what did you get for birthday??? is it large cake? i neeeeeeeed large cake right now!! hope your days going great!

Debbsey- check out fertilty friend for EWCM as theres even a picture if you are unsure- i was, its was just all wet and stretchy to me .....

Congrats to everyone so far with BFP's and sending positive vibes to all the 2WW-ers!

Rom - we are about the same but not sure when I expect to O...probably sometime around the 6th-11th of May and AF not due til last week in May...seems like a long way away...

This will be my last month TTC for a while - if BFN this month then we will have to stop for at least 6 months...don't think I can even though it is the sensible option. Always have that worry that you are wasting valuable time!
