milosmum · 20/04/2005 14:32

sorry that should be DOCTOR- what the hells a dector?????

george32 · 20/04/2005 14:42

Oh Milosmum, I'm so sorry you are feeling blue . It will happen for you esp now you are using OPks.
I know it must seem so unfair as people around you get a BFP but your time will come, you never know it may even be this month.

milosmum · 20/04/2005 14:43

heres hoping- thanks for asking about me george . sorry to put a downer on all the good news.........

Bella23 · 20/04/2005 14:44

Milosmum - arh its hard isn't it {{{{{HUGS}}}}
Please feel free to vent frustration on here though as we are all up and down through the month. Nothing you can say is a downer, we can all help as we all soooo know how you feel!

Lottielou · 20/04/2005 14:45

Milosmum - Sorry that you are feelin low! We all have these days and it's awful when you have hit the bottom. Thats why it's good to come on here. We're all crackers! We are all playing the wating game and are all of the BFP's people get but at then same time so for them. It will be your turn soon, i know it's easier said than done but try and stay positive huni. Stand under here, baby dust just for you!

Milosmum, never feel sorry for having a down day.
My journey to get to a BFP has been up & down the whole way and I've never had anything but support from everyone.
{{{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}} to everyone feeling crappy today.
xx

milosmum · 20/04/2005 14:50

thank you all- i doo feel better putting it down rather than keeping "mum". as i said in an earlier post most of the people around me think theres something wrong that i have got a BFP right away. My sister in law is horrible with it as she gets preg when the wind changes therefore brings up my "problem" at any given moment. i think only my dh and mother in law understand.... and of course you guys....thanks all

romilly · 20/04/2005 14:59

i'm glad george managed to coax you out of lurking milosmum - we are all here to listen, and everyone can relate even though they may be at different stages because we've all been there. (to hell and back!)

worriedbev (awwww such a sad name) - re: the temps - you are correct, you need to see a shift above your coverline for 3 higher temps and then you can be sure you've ovulated. why not register with fertilityfriend.com - it makes life when you are temping/charting much simpler (and im always for simplifying life )

bella - hold your nose and glug that grapefruit down! you know it makes sense!

george - love the idea of the jan. thread - i'm gonna do my best to make that possible this month

Frizbe · 20/04/2005 16:43

Hi all, crikey what a busy thread, has taken much reading!
Thanks to all for your lovely messages, I didn't manage the wine Rom, as was busy throwing myself at the floor (aikido! which may not help conception, but I can't give up my exercise until I know now can I?!)
AF is still missing? looks like my cycle is doing its own thing.....? wish it'd make its mind up, also coming down with horrible cold that dd has had, so feeling eugh, early to bed for me tonight.
Wishing you all lots of baby dust.

Hi all,

Frizbe...missing AF here too! mystery as BFN last night (poasftfoi...for the fun of it!) and I am sure (kinda) that I am 16dpo (or maybe 15dpo...) so would defo have had a BFP if I was?
Hmmm...also have annoying cramps but nothing like AF - more like last time I was pg (wishful thinking?). THen again, perhaps just getting different cramps since my m/c...

Driving me round the bend!!

Hello to everyone else - sorry some of you are feeling down but it is right that we should take positivity from success...when I had my m/c everyone kept telling me it was normal to be jealous or angry at other women but it just makes me go 'SEE...it DOES work!'.

ESPECIALLY if they are women who have had ttc a while or had m/c!

My SIL and I had same due dates and she is getting big...it is hard but although I feel disappointed I also manage to fit in being happy for them...

Not all the time, I ain't a saint but I try not to focus on it.

Lottielou · 20/04/2005 17:23

Well ladies, will love and leave you until the morning! Good luck to all that have BD'ing tonight!

Debbsy · 20/04/2005 18:06

Hi all milosmum (((HUGS))) We all know how you feel as we all hit that point at sometimes during the mth but we are all here to offer support comfort and tips.I could do with some quick advice im on cd9 and using calista saliva ovulation kit that says im coming up to ovulation so would you bd tonight tomorow morn tomorrow nite fri morn fri nite and sat do you think that would cover us enough to getting pregnant (already told hubby)and what is the best position and is there anything else i can do after the deed is done to aid the swimmers hitting the spot as ive seen you all talking about pillows etc any advice greatly appreciated.

Diddle · 20/04/2005 18:25

i have heard you all talking about EWCM, i know what it stands for but what is it a sign of? is it good or bad? help me

Debbsy · 20/04/2005 18:32

i think its something to do with cervical mucus diddle not sure though.

Diddle · 20/04/2005 18:34

yes it is debbsy " egg white cervical mucus" gross, but i wondered if it was a good thing or not and what it means if i have it.

Debbsy · 20/04/2005 18:36

i think its a sign of ovulating not 100% though a bit green when it comes to ttc matters

george32 · 20/04/2005 19:19

Diddle, it's a good sign. If you've got it BD now!!!

george32 · 20/04/2005 19:20

It shows that you are really close to ovulating, either you just have or are just about to

romilly · 20/04/2005 19:25

hi there george

debbsy - that sounds bang on with the bd'ing (i think once a day also does the trick if you cant manage AM and PM!) some people go for the pillow technique but its not proven - it is recommended not to go to the loo or get out of bed for 20 mins or so after ejaculation - so the swimmers get where they need to.

diddle - EWCM is the absolute primary thing to look for (not OPK's despite them being our fave preoccupation!) when you have obvious clear and stretchy EWCM (that you can stretch for an inch between your fingers - i know, eeeeuww! - then you are at your PEAK fertile time.) but any EWCM means green light for bding.

lottielou - grapefruit juice is said to increase your EWCM!

boom boom!

OP posts:
george32 · 20/04/2005 19:32

Hmmmm, yep, think that should do it Debbsy!!!
Hey Rom, hope you have a very large glass of wine in front of you!!

Debbsy · 20/04/2005 19:32

rom what is the pillow technique? please

george32 · 20/04/2005 19:34

I'm a firm believer that an orgasm gets the swimmers where they need to go - sod the pillow!!!
