dont really want to admit im on rollercoaster of if/when to test - im at same stage as rom
had wierd w/e, away with dh on our own for 3 days, first 2 had strong pg symptoms, really sore big boobs and that pelvic fullness feeling. then symptoms disappeared
im cd 26 of 28/29 day cycle and am convinced i have been pg this cycle even if not now
dont really want to know or POAT!!!!
also after 2 mcs have now started to experience that awful anxiety again as to whether it will be ok - just as I was starting to feel a bit better
sorry for crazed ramblings of madwoman but i know you mnetters understand
hi to the new people - im 35 ttc n04 but 2 missed mcs in aug 04 and jan 05

Bella23 · 18/04/2005 21:52

Hereshopping - its hard isn't it!!
Hang in there, will be keeping you and Rom in my thoughts over the next few days and willing that its your turns next
Are you going to wait until wednesday to POAS?

Cadmum · 18/04/2005 22:08

Hello hereshoping.
I am sorry to read that you are having a rough time of it all. I hate the roller-coaster ride feeling you describe. I don't know when or how it will ever end once you have experienced a m/c. We are here to listen and at least to some extent we do actually understand what you are going through.
I am really hoping that you get that BFP and if it is any consolation I have always been convinced that I am NOT pg just before I find out that I actually am (ALL 6 times!).

Cadmum · 18/04/2005 22:09

Sorry to have missed you again Romilly. I am really praying that you get that longed for BFP.

george32 · 19/04/2005 07:38

Morning to everyone.
I've been a bit naughty this morning & dug out one of DQs lucky tests..............don't want to get too excited yet but................... there is a really faint line!!!!
Obviously really early (9 or 11 dpo) and I'm very aware that things can & do go wrong at this early stage but there is still a line

I have to say, I'm excited but terrified!!

Rom & Hereshoping - when are you guys testing? How can you be so strong & not do it yet?

Debbsy · 19/04/2005 08:06

a line is a line george faint or not CONGRATULATIONS

Diddle · 19/04/2005 08:20

george - thats great . congrats to you and your family.

Harrizeb · 19/04/2005 08:44

OMGosh! That's such fabulous news - congratulations.
Rom you are doing a brill job at head office, I have fingers, toes, ears and eyes crossed for you that they sort your order out too. Makes typing difficult I tell you! .

Good luck for everyone testing and munz for your bedding marathon.
H x

munz · 19/04/2005 08:52

well girls, I leave u alone for one day and just look what happens! lol

george - big congrats hon! ((hugs)))

Nemo - if u wanna stop hon ure more than welcome just don't forget to share that abby dust around!

rom - have u tested yet or are u still holding out? didn't manage 6 times, or even twice poor DH was sooo tired he only managed once and to eat his roast dinner (cheek of it!) he was in bed for 8pm and woke up at 6am this morning - I thought could get early BD in but he didn't want to be late 4 work - what's that all about work dosen't start till 8.15!!!!! althou i'm on a promise tonight (at least twice and he knows it!) he's ok with the 6 times thou which is good and he's even talking about not oging out on weds night which is even better - yet more BD!!! althou my legs are bloody killing today (I know TMI!) but girls the drought is finally over! lol.

CD 13 here and had a nice O on my persona this morning, which is good will have one again tomorrow, so loads a baby dust and positive vibes coming from me this month!

quick question thou after the ahem deed was done ther was the usual spilage/leakage should I worry about it? it wasn't too much but I don't want any to escape! didn't do bum's on pillows/ chocs either, decided to do that next month if this one's not lucky, althou i'm hoping rom put's my to the top of the jan pile!

george32 · 19/04/2005 09:02

Thanks guys.
Still not believing it and going to do an expensive test next Monday (DPs b'day) to definitely confirm (hopefully). Will then be officially excited.

LOL at your drought being over Munz. What perfect timing.
If it makes you feel better we only BD'd twice around O and did non of the pillow, chocs etc. I think my egg was so desperate it just sucked DPs swimmers towards it!

Rom, you have been working so hard this month. Any more symptoms for you yet? (Looks like my spring cleaning might have been a sign after all!!)

munz · 19/04/2005 09:10

oh that's better then george not so much pressure! lol. I think mines desperatly sucking as well! have felt sick since it happened (and no jokes about it being that bad please!)

Frizbe · 19/04/2005 09:29

oh congrats George! what great news 1st (ish) thing in a morning, lol at munz! I did read once about a girl who only conceived when she popped her legs above her head for 15 mins after BD, both of her two were conceived in that way!

Lottielou · 19/04/2005 09:29

Morning All!
Congrats George! x
Have you tested yet Rom?? Eager to hear.
Diddle... thanks for that. You are right, uncannily (typo?) i had an appt at hosp after work last night and they too did a test. Thye said i should wait for 3(YES 3) normal AF's until we stop using protection again! AS IF i can wait that long. I am wishing the next two weeks away for my AF to arrive.
We must of gone through all of this at the same time huni! And yes if i had a £ for every person who said that i was young enough to keep trying for years and years to come then i would not be sat here at work i wud be lay on a sun bed on some tropical island! LOL
It would be great wouldn't it for us to start the Due in Feb thread. I have everything i have crossed for us both. You are in my thoughts!

Diddle · 19/04/2005 10:09

lottielou - Feeling very positive today, I don't think i could wait for 3 AF's, that would kill me. I am desperate to see that BFP. i'm wishing the weeks ago before AF comes back. It could be anything upto anoher 3 or 4 weeks though, although my back does ache today and i didn't sleep very well. Maybe its on its way?

I went back to the hospital yesterday for a follow up and they did a PG test which we knew would be negative, and they said that if there was anything significant left it would be giving off the pregnancy hormone and it would have shown as positive. They also said that they advised me to wait until after 2 cycles before we tried again, but if we really felt ready before then to go ahead.
Everyone gives different messages. with my first they said we coudl try when we wanted. how strange.
Anyway we are trying when we feel ready and not waitng for months. I need to start trying, feel like by waiting that we are wasting time.

piffle · 19/04/2005 10:20

George, am so so soso so sosososososo thrilled for you
How fabulous this thread has been for BFP's
Rom you are doing a corking job!
Right then who is next?
..........

Lottielou · 19/04/2005 10:21

Isn't it strange how you get told a thousand and one different things. Where abouts are you?
As my m/c was natural i didn't have to have a d/c so they did a test as with you (which as this is all new to me i was taken aback at the thought of a pg test, until they explained what it was for.)As you are, we are waiting for one AF and then take it from there. They estimated 2 weeks but given what you said and others, it could be sooner, later. Who knows. I just know that waiting is something i am not good at! All of this is soooooo new to me. There isn't anything else that is should be doing is there? Feel helpless!
No signs of anything, i usually get a bad back, cramps and feel sick exactly 1 week before so am willing for all of that to hit me.
We will get there, feeling positive! I'm here for ya hun we'll get each other through the looooooooong wait for AF to arrive. x x

Diddle · 19/04/2005 10:31

lottielou - i don't think there is anything you can do but wait. And look after yourslef. i'm still taking my vitamins and folic acid and as soon as AF comes will be cutting out the wine which have been treating myself with. Just to try and be as healthy as possible.

I am in Stourbridge in the Midlands. how about you?

Nemo1977 · 19/04/2005 10:32

OMG GEORGE yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Lottielou · 19/04/2005 10:36

I've carried on taking my vits and folic acid. i've been eating heathily for ages so i guess just have to play the waiting game now!
I'm in Birmingham. Not too far away then!

Frizbe · 19/04/2005 10:59

right ladies I'm off to the shops to get a test....more later! (as af turns up on the way!)

Lottielou · 19/04/2005 11:00

Good luck Frizbe! Let us know ASAP

romilly · 19/04/2005 11:03

george - yeeeeeessssss! i'm so chuffed for you george, you really deserve this - have to stop that marathon now - what a shame!

Oooh Frizbe, another tester today. Fingers crossed for you.
Roms doing pretty well so far on the orders
Thanks Mishi. I think I can just about squeeze onto the Dec thread if it all goes to plan on Monday.
No hot tub or champagne for me on DPs b'day now. Have to just dangle my toes in whilst sipping a glass of water instead - not quite as romantic as I'd hoped!!!
