Hello.. Anyone fancy joining me?! I ovulated over New Year and hoping, hoping, hoping to get a BFP in a couple of weeks!

BFN, no AF as yet

Twiglettini · 16/01/2009 10:41

Huge congratulations to the pregnant ones.

So sorry BeckyBL, that's just rotten for you. ((((((BeckyBendylegs)))))

Still no AF, which is really weird as I'm normally very regular 28 days and my last period was definitely over 28 days ago, but still BFN.

BeckyBendyLegs · 16/01/2009 12:06

Thanks twiglettini. I had a big glass of wine last night and a cry and feel a bit better today. Here's to next month for all of us here who have had the dreaded AF appear.

Here's hoping your pg twiglettini. No show of AF is a good sign but these AFs are always tricking us!!! Mine was 12 days late last month, I think I mentioned that before, and it drove me to the brink of insanity!

Anyway good luck everyone. I'll send you all lots of baby making dust

turtle23 · 16/01/2009 12:41

Just checking in...congrats to the pg ones!
I feel absolutely normal. Not due til Monday but by this point last time my boobs REALLY hurt. Am still bf though, anyone know if that makes a difference?

FlorenceB · 16/01/2009 13:30

I just got my AF... RUBBISH [SAD] [SAD] [SAD]

Twiglettini · 16/01/2009 13:53

Poor you, FlorenceB it just feels so sad, doesn't it.

Turtle, I have no evidence for it, but it would seem to make sense that you might not get sore breasts if continuing to breast feed while preg. For my first pregnancy my breasts were agony in the first 12 weeks, but the other four pregnancies (2 of which were mc), I don't remember sore breasts at all - probably as they had been used quite extensively over the years!

shoneshine · 16/01/2009 14:32

Im still awaiting AF or a BFP! Had another BFN t morning tho I really should hve waited a bit longer. Not going to test for another 2 days. Big hug to all of you whos AF has arrived and big hug to those w BFP! Im STILL feeling crampy/tender around lower belly. Felt pretty crumby yday, had the fuzzy hed you get before you fell sick yday afternoon and even noticed the kitchen towel smelt! Almost hada craving to sniff olbas or peppermint oil like I have done before when preg. still not sure though, its so hard to tell when I havent even hada period yet!

BeckyBendyLegs · 16/01/2009 18:18

FlorenceB poor you. It is rubbish, rubbish, rubbish. I met a friend who has a two month old baby today (her fourth child) and my tummy just went so gooey with sad feelings.

My boobs were agony with DS1 when I was preggers but not at all aching for all subsequent pregnancies. I wonder if that is what other people experience too. With DS1 I had to sleep in my bra plus bra top and I couldn't lie on my front! I went skiing and every bounce was agony! Never had that subsequently, not even remotely. I can remember jumping up and down to see if it hurt and thinking there was something wrong!

upsyandiggle · 16/01/2009 19:44

hi everyone, still waiting and not tested as yet but probably will do on sunday. Tyring to keep TTC from family but as mum looks after dd had to invent af today, i have even hid sanitary towels in bin, complained of pain etc so it is in line with pill packet (also been popping them out daily). sad i know but it keeps me occupied.

turtle23 · 17/01/2009 07:25

Broke and tested yesterday BFN. Not due til Monday so we'll see...

shoneshine · 18/01/2009 18:22

turtle23 · 18/01/2009 19:47

Did another test and BFN. No AF yet though, so...

shoneshine · 18/01/2009 21:54

And you`d be due AF tomorrow? Theres still a chance then! Ive even started wondering if bladder infections can cause pressure on your bladder! Feel just like I did with last pregnancies at beginning so y am I getting bfn! Argh, im so impatient

Twiglettini · 18/01/2009 22:09

Hello All. Got a BFP (but was very very faint) am cautiously very thrilled, but worried about risk of miscarriage due to age (and had 2 before).

Good luck to all the rest of you still waiting for AF.

turtle23 · 19/01/2009 06:30

Hurrah Twig!!!!
Today's the day for me...keep fingers x-ed for me. Have v sore boobs but think that is to do with milk blister from a few days ago. Ow.

shoneshine · 19/01/2009 09:00

Wahey Twiggy! Huge congrats! Im sure you`ll be fine, sendn lotsa baby glue! Ive gota Drs aptment t arvo, will let you know what HE says (not that hel undastand, will prob think Im barmy!) Still no AF but still got the AF/pressure feeling

BeckyBendyLegs · 19/01/2009 09:20

Hi there twiglettini CONGRATS!!! I am still lurking here to see how you all do so pleased to see a BFP.

turtle23 · 19/01/2009 11:24

Anyone know about temps? Usually my temp is 36.65 and when I was pg last time I tested because my temp was climbing right before I was due. Usually temp drops on day or day before AF and today is 37.5. Only have 1 test left so want to wait til tomorrow as I have wasted 3 already!!!

silentlywondering · 19/01/2009 12:01

fingers crossed twiglettini hope to see you over on sept ante natal thread soon.

Twiglettini · 19/01/2009 12:18

Thanks for kind words and Turtle, frankly, I'd be cautiously optimistic about increase in temp, here's hoping x x x do let us know

LittleMissBliss · 19/01/2009 13:57

Hi ladies many congratulations on all the bfp!

I'm sorry to hear that a few of you have been visited by af, here's hoping for next month!

My AF is due on Thursday or possibly Sunday (my priods have only been back for a few months and range from 28 to 31 day cycle)so have brought 20 cheap e-bay tests hopefully they'll arrive by Thursday.

They were a bit of a bargain so think i'll test from Thursday onwards until Af arrives (well hopefully doesn't but not feeling too confident).

Fingers crossed for those left in the race and a large toast of red for the Oct/November babies to hopefully be! Ds was a November baby great month !

turtle23 · 19/01/2009 14:16

I'm out.

Twiglettini · 19/01/2009 14:22

SO sorry, Turtle, that's miserable for you. Sorry if I got your hopes up with the temperature thing. x x

blondie80 · 19/01/2009 16:41
