Who else is testing this week? I am going to test on Thursday (or Wednesday if I run out of patience) unless AF hits me first. The witch is due Tuesday or Wednesday.

I tested Saturday morning and it was a BFN, and AF has come today. I cried a lot last night about it and am feeling generally down. Last month I'd had the flu and didn't hold out much hope, but I did this month. This is only our 2nd month ttc, but because we've had to find a donor etc it has been such a long process already. Added to which the BDing is not the same. I want to be making a baby with my partner not a have someone else involved whose emotions I have to think about etc, and who I don't love. It is just causing such a large swirl of emotions. I'm hoping my hormones calm down soon! Sorry for the 'rant'

Hi all, congratulations to our graduates! Still no af here (cd29 but i've always had irregular periods so who knows when i'm due on! Although, i would have thought the Clomid would regulate things??) I'm weeing more often and have sore boobs - both Clomid symptoms i think. The cm is white and sticky and alot less now so looks like af will be making an appearance soon. I've got an awful migraine atm so am off to bed. I haven't tested because i'm scared but don't hold out much hope.

Hi Angel, I'm not going to test until my AF is completely late as I have had a positive and then got AF on time which was a bit freaky... I don't really feel anything as yet anyway so I'm not really counting on it...

gettingstarted, poor you. i know it doesn't seem like it but one day you'll be pg and all this will dissapear into the back of your mind. af will come and go and then you can try again.

why don't you decide that every time af comes, you and your dp go out to dinner and celebrate (that's right, celebrate!) with a romantic evening with plenty of wine, soft cheese and shellfish. each month choose somewhere nice to look forward to and try to enjoy it! (of course if you're skint do it at home and put on some smart clothes!)

so Im new here- a friend tipped me off. DH and I are sort of trying but arent very regular with the nookie- he is very stressed and tired at work. I have started taking temperature- i know that it is meant to go up around ovulation- but how much up? like a whole degree? also any tips to get him a bit keener for ttc? he's only nonchalent..

thegauntlet, dh has a lower sex drive than myself (i have no probs having sex every day if necessary ). i found with him it helped just having a few quickies instead of longer sex. also quite exciting (we did it in the kitchen ). sorry tmi!

i have tested again this morning and its a BFP!!!!! i can see it really clear so those ebay cheapies are really not that sensative at all ,i will still hang around this thread like a bad smell as my EDD will be the 1st oct and i dont think there will be any due oct thred yet......i will wait for you all as i'm sure there will be more BFP this month

As for me I'm going to follow Devils advice and instead of symptom spotting for the next 10 days I'm going to draw up a long list of lovely things to do to keep my spirits up if I get a bfn. I am trying to be positive about the result but have to also prepare myself for not getting the result we want . So here goes....bottle of champagne, new undies to spice up the BDing next time, trashy magasine, early night with wine & chick flick, book a birthday party for DS and throw myself into organising a fab day for him, take DD shopping for some new holiday clothes, hot bath with wine & candles. Also my DH is building a new garage and has promised I can bash a wall down with a sledgehammer . Megabusy with work too so this should help time fly.

I'm trying so hard not to test early but it is getting tempting. AF is actually due on Thursday but since last Tuesday my boobs have been so sore (more than ever before). This is sometimes a sign my AF is on the way but last month I had NO sore boobs?!

Anyone know which would be the better hpt to use? I'm on cd26 of a ucl 27-32.

fifiok when are you testing? I can't decide I think I should be due AF 26/01/09 (30 day cycle) but can be anything from 28 to 32!

Cazza My AF is due Jan 28th and as I have a fairly regular 28 day cycle I will probably test then. I have got a FR early test left over from last month but have asked DH to hide the test to avoid early testing. (but the devil on my shoulder is telling me to test early on Sunday 25th so that if I am upset I am not at work, the angel is saying not to do that as last month I got a faint positive with an early test only to be let down by a negative the next day and then AF 3 days later) When do you think you'll test ? If you test at home make sure you get that computer working so you can share the news.

I am going to have to log out now as my MN addiction is keeping me away from my to do list & I should not be complaining I am megabusy at work if I have time to do this I'll reward myself with some MN after work.

I just went to give blood and they asked if I'd like to sign up for an appointment next time they come back on 1st June - I made an appointment but am soooo hoping that I have to cancel it (you can't give blood if you're pregnant). Good luck to all those testing this week. I am still awaiting first AF since coming off the pill, getting very irritated now.
