Cazza28 · 15/01/2009 17:23

Thanks Guys - really hoping this month! Off work now till Monday so will be 7dpo when I post again fingers crossed for everyone! x

FifiOK · 15/01/2009 18:49

welcome cazza looks like we got our positive OPKs on same day.

I'm off to Scotland for the w/e after work tomorrow to see my Parents. Glad I'll be on 2WW don't think we could have got away with too much frantic BDing at their house. They are in dark ages with no computer or broadband so no posting for me until Monday. Hope there are some BFPs when I get back or even some positive OPKs.

DevilsAdvocaat · 15/01/2009 18:58

hi everyone, good luck to those on the 2ww and get well soon to the snivelling crew (including dhs and dps).

day 14 today so must try and bd but so tired again.

zzzzzzz....

gettingstarted · 15/01/2009 19:40

fifiok you have really made me laugh with your spread sheet, I think that is what my donor wishes I would do. I think he needs the scientific approach feel!

theboob I know re creamy white CM it's got me exciting too, but I'm starting to break out in spots on my chin, so I'm quite worried that's AF on her way I almost buckled and bought one of those expensive early pg test earlier. Went to waitrose (how posh) for the dog food (and only the dog food, the humans only get sainsbury's!) and the temptation was there to get on so I could just to know, and put me out of my misery! I'm starting to think that the longer I leave it the more I will have got my hopes up only for them to be crushed. God it's a hard call.

HomeintheSun · 15/01/2009 20:17

well DH and I have BD'ed once this month, my DS put paid to last night, he had a longer nap than normal and as a result didn't go to sleep when we put him to bed and then when we checked on him at 10.20 he was still awake so he ended up sleeping in bed with me while DH was in the spare room, but we'll try again tonight, and maybe tomorrow am, I've still got lots of ewcm and I have a slight cramping so I think I'm about to ovulate.
I hope everyone else is having better luck.

MintChocAddict · 15/01/2009 21:40

Hi All,
Am now on CD29 of 35+day cycle and getting very, very impatient!
Not planning to test until at least CD 39 this month as don't want to get my hopes up after 38 day cycle last month.
Wish I had shorter cycles

Getting started - I'm getting quite spotty too. Hopefully not an indication of AF but rather a reaction to the copious amounts of post Christmas choccies I've been scoffing!

LOL at spreadsheet. It's so romantic this TTC lark.

bubblebell1 · 16/01/2009 08:11

aideesmum ttc#2 cycle4 CD23

Am leaving it until next weekend before testing as my cycle ranges from 27-32 but I think I ov'd early this month.

Good luck all

idreamofbeanie · 16/01/2009 10:03

Welcome aideesmum - I have added you to the list (hope I haven't made any mistakes). Looks like you could be testing around the same time as me and theboob (if I can restrain myself that long!). I want to wait until the weekend - if the witch leaves me alone - so DP will be home but may I weaken on Thursday or Friday.

Looks like we could have a few tests over the next week or so - good luck to everyone!

well I cant stand this any longer,I am symtom spotting mad at the moment and if I dont get a BFP this month i will be clased as mental, with my last preg as soon as i found out i started getting a bump ,by 8 weeks i was in maternity clothes and now my jeans are tight(could be all the xmas choc)
yesturday a friend asked if i was preg, she said she had a sixth sense for it and could see it in my face and eyes
I have not told anyone i am trying apart from my best friend,I am sadly excited by her comment lol, starting to get a dull ache feeling in boobs, but get sore with AF ,hope you are all well and all on BD marathon are holding up
good luck to all on the 2WW
BABY DUST TO YOU ALL *

girlwithacurl · 16/01/2009 12:51

oh no theboob must be driving you mad! all sounds positive though
mintchoc i am with you on wishing I had shorter cycles, still haven't ov'd and on CD 24. Got one of the guides on FF to look at my chart and she thinks I actually may not Ov until CD26!!!
oh, and predictably another neg OV test today

bubblebell1 · 16/01/2009 13:05

girl i hope you ov soon. i am hoping that my cycles are back to normal this month too.. last 1 was 68 days hoping to ov in the next few days.

boob you are doing really well. when i was preg with ds2 i had all the symptoms. i tested 5 days early with a fr and it was BFP but then tested every week til 9 weeks coz i was paranoid.

OP posts:
theboob · 16/01/2009 13:35

thankyou bubble and girl
im in a really wingy mood today and just feel like stamping my feet lol

idreamofbeanie · 16/01/2009 14:53

boob - is there space for 1 more foot stamper over there? I'd like to join you please. This month is dragging and I am driving myself crazy!!! I keep thinking that I should somehow 'know' if I am pregnant and since I don't that must mean another BFN this month. Now I am worrying whether DP and I are even able to get pregnant. This is only cycle 2 - someone slap me please.

girl, mintchoc and bubble - I think you should probably all give me a slap. These long cycles must be so frustrating for you guys. I really hope this month is back to normal for you bubble and you ovulate soon girl.

How's your day?

AngelFairy · 16/01/2009 15:55

Can I ask if these are symptoms:
(Sorry if this may offend anyone)
Dry, alomst peeling nipples with a kind of pimple on the area surrounding?
(Boobs have been aching pretty bad for about 4days now)

idreamofbeanie · 16/01/2009 16:10

There you go fairy, think I have added you in the right place. No help for symptoms though, sorry. Sounds sore - hope you feel better soon and it all leads to a BFP!

Thanks IDream x

bubblebell1 · 16/01/2009 17:06

hi angel

how you doing? your boobs sound painful. i didnt have dryness but my boobs were really painfull to touch when i was pregnant with ds' even when moving my arms, if they brushed my boobs then it was agony.

other symptoms i had was extreame fatigue. and the smell of a toothbrush made me sick.

what tests have you been using?

idream dont stamp your feet. i know its easy to feel dispondant and then you feel guilty coz others have been trying longer. hopefully soon we will all have BFPs.

OP posts:
gettingstarted · 16/01/2009 18:02

boob I'm glad you are like it too. I have been a cow all day and very snappy.

I got far too excited last night and decided I needed to buy a non cheapie test as i felt all certain I was etc. Anyway, it said test in the morning if doing it early, Then over night I decided that I am probably a complete headcase and didn't test this morning. Partly I thought positive or negative I'd not hold it in at work. Anyway, I've been a moose anyway, so I may have well have got a negative. As well as being carted off to the looney bin if I'm not pg, I think its going to make me never trust any symtom again! AHHHH! I feel like I've got awful PMT, all emotional, big boobs - which is probably just cos I've put on weight. Then to top it all off I came home to watch some crappy telly and the sky box has packed up. Nothing til Sunday. Now I'm worried this is all a bad sign about testing tomorrow. I think I need my head read then locking up.... and possibly sedating.

earlynite · 16/01/2009 18:40

angelfairy Don't want to get your hopes up but with my first pregnancy i had very sore and peeling nipples. Not this early though, probably about 20weeks.

AngelFairy · 16/01/2009 18:49

Thanks Earlynight and Bubble... x

They are managable but very tender. Like you said Bubble, when my arms knock them or my bf hugs me it's painful. Even turning over in bed I feel the pain of gravity - never had this kind of symptom before.
The peeling I refer to is more like chaffing but without the soreness - very odd!

I have used two Boots own tests and one FR, but none were morning tests, also not due AF until Tuesday.

Thoughts?

DevilsAdvocaat · 16/01/2009 18:54

right you lot, i'm giving some of you a light tap on the chops. it is FRIDAY! stressing and feeling sad and anxious is not going to do anything for you. lets enjoy our weekend and worry about it on monday. go and get yourself a glass of wine/cuppa and watch some tv or whatever you need. i vote a bubble bath as that has helped this week to chill me out.

we must stay positive and happy

ps - to you first timers: it will happen x

Catz · 16/01/2009 19:26

DevilsAdvocaat - I'm going to follow your advice but stressing about what to drink! There is a nice bottle of Rioja calling to me from the kitchen.... Do you all stop drinking when TTC? We've pretty much stopped since new year (when we decided to start TTC) but really fancy a glass now....it's that or the grapefruit juice!
