OK girls, will go and get the list, but have lots of comfy sofa's and chairs, chocolate cake and virtual champagne.

Good luck and positive vibes to us all!

Hope everyone else is well and enjoying this lovely Easter

Morning Mollie, hope you're having a lovely Easter morning. Have you got anything nice planned?

I was silly and did a test this morning - BFN unfortunately so I'm almost certain the witch is on her way, and this is just a strange cycle for me. Ah well.

Molliemooma · 12/04/2009 10:23

PL So sorry you got a BFN but its not over til the red lady sings! Nothing much planned, Mum and Dad have invited us over for lunch and we're supposed to be going out with some friends this evening as I've got a stinking cold I will have to use the antibiotic line for not drinking! The only problem is after trying for so long and all that happened last year the minute I mention anti-biotics or start looking rough people just give me that knowing look
What about you, got much planned for today? I think you should eat all the easter eggs to make you feel better

OP posts:
PistachioLemon · 12/04/2009 11:07

Thanks Mollie, well we'll see, if nothing shows up in the next week I shall test again (if I can last that long).

Your day sounds lovely. Lunch cooked for you and drinks (albeit tomato juice/tonic water) later. I sympathise about the cold, my sore throat is still very present and is now accompanied by sniffles and sneezes - not nice! DH and BIL are downing cold and flu capsules like they are going out of fashion, complaining vigorously about man flu while they do so, and I'm surviving on strepsils and the occassional paracetamol. What we go through eh!

We've not got anything planned at all for today. I'm making lunch for DH and BIL (got BIL to peel all the veggies - result!) and I'm absolutely starving, probably because all I can smell is the roast pork in the oven. I think I've put enough garlic in it to keep the vampires away for at least a year!

beanieb · 12/04/2009 11:34

Have resisted testing, Period probably going to come in a couple of days anyway as my boobs have stopped hurting. We'll see. Sorry about the BFN PistachioLemon but you never know, could still be a chance.

Good luck today Mollie, hope no one gives you the third degree about the anti-biotics.

HappyEIster · 12/04/2009 12:18

happy easter ladies
10DPO today for me and AF is due on tuesday so fingers crossed for me and for everyone else due to test
beanie when is AF due for you?? i am cautiously optimistic for you as i had a little dream that i turned MN on and you had a BFP that one has come true for me a few times so good luck
xx ei xx

beanieb · 12/04/2009 17:36

AF due around about Wednesday time, hard to tell as my cycle can sometimes be as short as 24 days and other times 26. Oh I wish your dream was true! I had a dream that I was looking after my brother's baby and I let her do evetything she wanted and got in big trouble with my brother - he he.

Good luck IE!

Molliemooma · 13/04/2009 08:48

Beanie I hope you realise that EI is our resident pyschic, on our other thread she's had numerous dreams that have come true, so fingers, legs, eyes and hair crossed for you

beanieb · 13/04/2009 12:36

I need a moan but I really don't want to be all negative.

Tried to make a time for a little cry but I still feel down about not having got pregnant before having to go on clomid because we tried so hard this month and I know I am ovulating, so I feel like they have only given me the Clomid because they don't know what else to do.

I told my OH that I am terrified of taking it because of the side effects I might get and because I just feel like I'll take it for three months and still nothing will happen. All he could say was not to take it if I didn't want to which isn't much help because I feel like I have to take it and see what happens but if nothing does then I will just feel even more down.

I'm trying really hard not to be down about it all but it's just so bloomin hard.

PistachioLemon · 13/04/2009 14:22

Beanie I'm so sorry your period arrived and you're feeling so down about it all. For some reason I thought it would be your month. I'm not sure what else to say really as I haven't been in your situation, but I'm sure that what you're feeling is quite normal - I think I would be terrified too.

Keep your chin up... will be thinking of you [big hug].

Hey everyone,

Have just updated my stats dont know what happened to last months, but was 2 weeks late and after umpteen tests all of which where BFN, AF eventually turned up. (Very cruel trick). Hopefully things are getting back to normal and we are really going for it this month, last month was a little half hearted.Fingers crossed.

Beanie, hopefully this is our month and you will get your BFP!!

PL - sorry af got you x
Mollie - hope your looking after yourself how are you feeling??

Hi to Kay hope your stay is not too long (in a good way)

Well I said we are going for it this month so am going for an early night

Kay4MattTTC · 13/04/2009 19:06

hey zen1980 thankQ. and so do i

louisplayingthewaitingame · 13/04/2009 19:07

hello ladies -
for those that remember me, I have been TTC for nearly 2 years after a miscarriage.
Have just done 2 months of Clomid, and now in a total state of shock, it has worked. I am just 5 weeks pregnant! cant actually believe it and really hoping that it all works out this time for us and our bean.

I'm sorry I was not here for the last months, I know I said I would be. Problem was it was all too much at times, and I was beginning to suffer from depression again.

Anyway I just wanted to say thanks so much for all the support I received during the months on here, and to wish you all the best of luck. There are ladies on here who I know have been trying as long and longer than me, so I really hope you get that BFP very soon.
Beanie, the Clomid did the trick for me, hope you get your wish, and that the wedding plans are coming along nicely?

Dont give up girls,
take care,
Lou xxxxx

beanieb · 13/04/2009 19:21

Oh Lou that's lovely news. Sending you good vibes for a healthy happy pregnancy

I was worrying this morning about so much and even started worrying about the wedding. Plans are pootling along so I really need to get some speed up and arrange things for the party!

zen sorry to hear your period was just hiding away for so long, what a pain!

PistachioLemon · 14/04/2009 10:26

Poo, I'm back to the top of the list.

Massive congrats to Lou!

Morning PistachioLemon sorry to see you back at the top.

Have taken my clomid!

PistachioLemon · 14/04/2009 10:40

Morning Beanie. I thought I would be back at the top but I'm still a bit sad. It's amazing how HPTs bring on AF - I did one this morning (I was beginning to wonder what was going on) BFN and then AF within half an hour. Ha! That will teach me. I swear I'm not going to bother with tests next month unless I'm at least 10 days late (remind me of that please when the time comes!).

Well done on taking the chlomid. I'm really ignorant in these things - do you just take it once a month? Or do you take it every day for three months? I'm crossing fingers toes and everything for you, I hope so much it works.

beanieb · 14/04/2009 10:50

hiya PistachioLemon , HPTs seem to have that effect on me too! Bet we both still test early though!

Because I am ovulating I take the Clomid from days 2 to day 7 of my cycle but I think for people who aren't ovulating they have to take it a bit later. I have 3 months worth, so 18 tablets all together - only a low dose.

Thanks for the crossed fingers, mine are crossed for you too! Xmas Grin
