OK girls, will go and get the list, but have lots of comfy sofa's and chairs, chocolate cake and virtual champagne.

Good luck and positive vibes to us all!

beanieb · 11/03/2009 11:00

just got back from having my HSG, totally painless - no cramping or anything. Maybe I have a high pain threshold. Anyway - first indcation is that both tubes are clear. So it's not that then wonder what is wrong with me, hope it's not my age.

Am going to book a follow-up appointment with the fertility clinic so guess they will go through the results with me in a couple of weeks.

beanieb · 11/03/2009 13:10

...and the good news is that I just had a call from the fertility clinic RE the AMH test and my reading is normal! I know they say this test isn't 100% but as my FSH one was slightly high I'm relieved.

beanieb · 11/03/2009 13:26

oh - hang on. They tell me my AMH test was 10.5 and perfectly fine. The internet tells me anything under 15 indicates low fertility. Perhaps they have no idea what they are talking about? SIGH!

Jaamy · 11/03/2009 19:38

Beanie - so, good news (if they know what they are talking about!). Surely they will clarify at fertility clinic appt. When I had a HSG (6.5 years ago) I was told that sometimes just the injection of the dye is enough to flush out any small blockages. I was pregnant within 5 months after 4 years of TTC. Hoping this is the start of good things for you!

Went for smear test today. Made the mistake of telling practice nurse that I had had 2 mcs in the last 12 months. Cue lecture about ovulation symptoms, including description of "stretchy" discharge. I just nodded and smiled and tried to look surprised. Obviously, ovulation + BD = baby. It's just as simple as that isn't it?!

Molliemooma · 11/03/2009 20:25

Jaamy Sorry to see you back at the top, at least the helpful nurse has told you all about the birds and the bees
Beanie Fantastic news (well so long as they have got it right) The power of google can be so terrible sometimes! I really hope like Jaamy said that this is the start of a run of good luck for you
Shayer & Blackrock You are both quiet, hope you are OK?

Back to the top for me, cruelly my body decided that although I've been very regular in the last 4 months of not TTC it would trick me by being one day late
Oh well never mind, bring on the next cycle!

Yeah Jaamy - good news. I always seem to let the negative creep in Am hoping this is the start of good things. 4 years Jaamy! that must have been hard. I keep my fingers crossed for us both.

The Urologist I had to see a few months back gave me the old 'tis is how you have a baby' speech - I think it's just them thinking they are being helpful, bless.

Molliemooma - sorry to see you back at the top, damn those sneaky extra days!

Jaamy · 11/03/2009 21:23

Yes, beanie, it was hard but we got through it thank goodness and now DH and I are being greedy! . It's great that things are looking up for you...you deserve some good news. Roll on your next appt for more good news.

Mollie and for you. Our wretched bodies do like to make fun of us. This is the month for Christmas baby making!!! Bring them on!

thegreatescape · 13/03/2009 14:10

Hi all. beanie keeping fingers crossed for you (but not legs, sorry, tmi??)

AF arrived today so humpf and buggerations. Also, not getting a positive on my ovulation sticks (tried days 10-20). This has happened before so bit worried I'm not ovulating now. Will try again this month but the kits are quite expensive when you are using 2 per month

beanieb · 14/03/2009 10:15

sorry to hear you're back at the top thegreatescape. Am just waiting and waiting for my period now, so I can have a shot at trying to get pregnant with my tubes now flushed!

hope I have updated these correctly.

Sorry thegreatescape.

Beanie, I have everything crossed for you in your next cycle. Lets hope that Mollie is right, and good news about your levels.

Mollie I know how hard it is when late. Sorry.

I have been ill with a chest infection, so not BD until late in the cycle, so probably not this month.

Good luck on Monday EI!

ShayeraHol · 15/03/2009 12:16

Hey folks!

I'd lost count of days this month as was so fed up with it all decided not to bother even thinking about it - so am slightly shocked to realise that I'm on CD30 if the above table is right for me! WHich means I should probably get myself to a pharmacist sometime today as have had slight spotting for a couple of days but buggerall else. By my usual standards I'm now about 7 days overdue!

I've spent the last week throwing myself down steep hills on a snowboard, falling over LOADS, eating unsuitable food and drinking way too much though so not holding out too much hope. Might just be a relaxation thing.

Hope you're all well!

Jaamy · 15/03/2009 14:31

Oooh, Shayera - let's hope that the relaxation (though it doesn't sound very relaxing to me!!) has done the trick. Good luck for testing.

blackrock · 15/03/2009 19:58

crossed for you Shayera!

broodydoody · 15/03/2009 21:34

We were waiting to start TTC until April as I am a bridesmaid but have decided to just go for it. So I am on CD 12 and should have ovulated today so have been busy the last few days!!!

Good luck to everyone x

Jaamy · 15/03/2009 22:49

Welcome broodydoody! Good luck. Hope you get a quick result!

barbie1 · 16/03/2009 16:07

I havent had a af since mc but im off next week to have a full medical to see what the hell is going on! I have been feeling really tired the last few days and have achy boobies which i had last time i found out i was pregnant, but a test has ruled that out

OP posts:
Jaamy · 16/03/2009 20:57

shayera - pooh and double pooh! I had lots of lovely hopes for you. Go and spoil yourself a bit. x

It is official. This TTC mullarkey has driven me mad! Guess wheat i did today???? POAS!!!!! There is some logic behind my thinking. AF was very wierd - just a day of proper bleeding. And I have been feeling very bloated. Boobs are mahoosive (even more so than usual) and tender. Have been feeling queasy on and off. Ergo - am up the duff. [Cue Family Fortune style wah-wah]

Obviously I completely dismissed the fact that I had a smear test last week and the practice nurse (though nice but dim) may have noticed a pregnant cervix! DH just gave me a very withering look when I told him my activities of the day. No sympathy (and rightly so) just a vague expression that said, "oh my god she's finally cracked".

Please tell me I'm not alone. We're all mad together, aren't we? Otherwise I may very well tie myself into my own straight jacket!
