hi ladies
sparkly oooooh you and me both on the faint line i was meant to be waiting a few days but cracked earlier after i had been shopping to the asda and got the faintest of faint lines i have noone to be my measure for whether there is one there or if im imagining it but i tried to take a pic and you can barely see anythin on the pic so maybe i need to just wait a few more days and use FMU im starting to get niggly cramps and keep feeling like AF has arrived so i bet i will be back announcing her arrival tomorrow who knows though!! good luck sparkly kate good luck testing aswell its all go on here isnt it!!
i hope everyone is doin well
xx ei xx

kate2179 · 18/11/2008 00:07

OH MY GOODNESS!!

I turn my back for half an hour and there are not one but TWO potential BFPs!!!! Has someone put something in the water???? I DEMAND you both go and purchase the almighty CBD tomorrow, and get peeing (unless of course you'd rather wait... - but where's the fun in that?!?)

Remind me of your dream Ei? 3 tests, one was yours, was one Georgie's or Scully's? Looks like we know who the other one belonged to now!

Feeling a bit better thank you, going to try to get some sleep now. Night all xx

scully · 18/11/2008 02:03

Wow, Sparkly and Ei, fingers crossed the line gets stronger in a few days
What did you want to know about Natal Sparkly? My dh is from there, and I've been there 3 times.
Went to the gp today and I'm having a scan on 1st Dec when I'll be almost 8wks. Could have had one next week but decided to give it a few more days to make sure that I've left it long enough to see something. I have a lunch planned for 30 Nov with some very observant friends so will be sitting on one spritzer I think, to avoid their suspicions.....
How are you feeling now Kate?
Bad luck about your bathroom Mibbes, crap timing too
VJ, I waited 6mths between pregnancies and still had a 2nd m/c so I don't think it makes any difference how long you wait, unless the dr has given you a specific reason for waiting. Enjoying Xmas sounds like a good plan though
How are you feeling HTGG? How did you parents enjoy Australia?
Hi to everyone else

FruitynNutty · 18/11/2008 09:23

Good Morning Emmsy's ladies

Just popping in to say I'm just loving all this (what seems to be) fanatastic news

I'll have a proper read later

SparklyPseudonym · 18/11/2008 09:54

Morning ladies,
I'm wondering whether Asda has produced a batch of faulty tests ....
I didn't crack and test again this morning (I don't have any tests and am too nervous). Took my temp though and it was 37.02 which is fairly high for me. It's hard to know when I ovulated though - I'm on CD32 today and that's as long as my cycles get (and I usually have pre-AF spotting)...do you think the m/c could make my cycles go crazy? Don't even have sore (.)(.) (oh I wish my boobs looked like that!)..so prob not pregnant.
Ei Lots and lots of luck to you!!! Are you going to get a CBD?
Scully I think my proposal is pretty much sorted. I have to connect wales to the wider world and chose Natal because of all the connections.
Kate How many dpo are you now? Any more symptoms?
HTGG Any lovely recipes to share from last night?

Come on girls, whats the news? The suspense is killing me Test! TEST! TEESSSTTT!!
Really hope we have some (lots!) of positive news very soon

I will post some more pictures of Amy soon, she is extremely spotty at the moment, milk spots I believe? or some sort of baby acne! We have our 6 wk check on Thursday so will get it checked then
fruity a big congratulations on your scan results, so glad that all is well, and that your having a little boy, I had two boys before I had my first little girl I wonder what you will have next time! I remember you saying you always wanted a big family! I could never agree with my DP about baby names. I always got my own way in the end!
THLD Yes Ian is reading, only from flash cards, and I have written a few sentences using his new words, also just got a load of key stage 1 books for him to start on, he is very keen to read, think he wants to be like his brothers and very bright sister who is was only 5 in July and is a fantastic reader, her teacher is very impressed with her! Ian was 4 last week but he doesn't start school until next September so he is just at the right age, he wants to learn and gets excited when he gets his words correct, I really think that if he was allowed he would be ready to start 'proper' school now.
cricri lovely to hear that you are doing so well as a new mum, keep the good work up!X
scully so envious of your lovely weekend, would have loved to have been with you X
mollie glad you have you internet service back, its horrible not being able to take a look at how every one is. My big problem is my children, 4 out of the 5 of them fight for my laptop!

Emmsy1 · 18/11/2008 10:58

Kate 7 DPO? are you sure of your dates, is it possible that you may have 'O' early? (like I did)X
mibbes not long now, really excited for you, feel quite emotional witing this, just doesn't seem that long since we had our long AF and then our BFP's and now baby and baby due date! kate must get her bfp soon, she was and is a 'part' of our journey X

hello to everyone else, can't post anymore now as Amy is crying! x

kate2179 · 18/11/2008 12:50

Emmsy Always so lovely to hear from you I'm pretty sure of my dates tbh, and I seem to have gained a day on the list (though am conscious I am wishing the days away atm...)so I'll change it in a minute. I'd pretty much stopped temping so I didn't start this cycle til day 18 as I knew in recent cycles I'd been ov'ing on day 18 or 19. My day 18 temp was 36.58 which is a definite pre ov temp for me, then it shot up the next day and kept increasing before plateau-ing (as my acupuncturist puts it ) at 37.02 after 3 days (snap Sparkly - obv a great temp to have ) I'll have a go at putting it on FF now, but someone will have to tell me how to send you the link I don't think I did it properly when I tried once before. So I'm 8DPO today and I'll test on saturday if my temp is still high by then... Based on recent cycles AF is due on Sunday so I thought I should wait til sunday to test, but then I thought who am I kidding

I know what you mean though Emmsy, it's so funny how things work out... Doesn't seem that long ago that you me and Mibbes were cycle buddies, and I think Ei had just started trying around that time as well. I got a bfp more or less straight away, you were talking about going on the mini pill and Mibbes was taking so many vitamins she practically rattled Now look at us all! I'm just glad I didn't have a crystal ball!

Sparkly you're being very restrained What's your plan? Loving you telling Ei to go and get a CBD while you wait patiently I wouldn't worry too much about lack of sore (.)(.) (wish mine looked like that too ) - every pg is different and it's still very early days for you to have any symptoms, other than perhaps that all important blue line!

Scully 1st Dec sounds like a good plan. It's so difficult trying to decide what to do for the best though isn't it. Not long til 1st really, though I suspect it will feel like an eternity. You'll just have to have lots more trips to the beach to see you through!

Ok. Done charts. Worked out how to email them but can I just cut and paste the link as normal...? Will have a go. Bit rubbish really seeing as I only started charting on day 18 this month!

here

FruitynNutty · 18/11/2008 14:24

Hey Kate it just takes you to the log in page.
You need to go to, crap I can't remember now, hang on, lemme think.................................................. something to do with "sharing" then copy and paste the link on the page? Try that

FruitynNutty · 18/11/2008 14:25

"Sharing" then "home page set up"

FruitynNutty · 18/11/2008 14:26

Then where it says "Your Charting Home Page Web Address:" you need to copy and paste that

mibbes · 18/11/2008 17:04

Emmsy and Kate I agree that it seems hardly any time since the 3 of us were cycle buddies and Kate got her BFP, then Emmsy and I had super-long cycles. Then Emmsy got PG then the next cycle it was my turn ! It is incredible to think what has happened since, both good and bad. Kate I'd dearly love to see you get a BFP and a trouble-free PG soon hun, fingers are crossed for you - oh and btw those temps are HOT !

Sparkly when do you plan to test again ?

Ei what about you ? testing again soon ?

Goodness it is all go on here at the moment, it would be great if we had a rush of BFPs and you could all go through the joys together .

Mollie where are you missus ?

I have a lot of pressure/pain down low at the front, walking is becoming quite painful - what do you reckon, baby getting ready to arrive ...?

kate2179 · 18/11/2008 17:45

Thanks Sparkly!

Oooooo Mibbes! I hope you've got your bag packed! Think you're counted as at term from 37 weeks aren't you?? Maybe little Miblet fancies being a November baby rather than a December one!

Thank you for your kind wishes, I hope so too

kate2179 · 18/11/2008 17:49

PS if you do look at my chart, I'm not that mean, I just didn't bother including the non-ttc related bd-ing - although tbh I don't think it would have looked vastly different if I had (Poor DH...)

HeyThereGeorgieGirl · 18/11/2008 19:49

Any news?

Have been dying tog et on PC all day to see whether Ei or Sparkly had cracked under the pressure.

Seems as if they have more will power than I do. Still rooting for you ladies. I seem to remember getting my pom poms out months ago for those of you that were TTC. Maybe I should dust them off and start doing a few little cheers? .

Mibbes Oooooooooo. Might be the start of something? Any Braxton Hicks? How exciting. Keep us updated.

Kate Haven't got the foggiest idea about reading charts, but Mibbes seems to think it's a good one so fingers crossed for you too.

Oh, DH just got supper ready. Am starving. Feeling really queasy today. Just hope to god this one works out. Am having awful thoughts about blighted ovums .

Kisses and hugs to all. more tomorrow.

xxxxxxx

SparklyPseudonym · 18/11/2008 19:54

Just about to eat my tea...

Did a CBD this evening and it said 'not pregnant'. Am sure I imagined that line....

OP posts:
HeyThereGeorgieGirl · 18/11/2008 20:20

Oh Sparkly how blardy annoying. But, it's not over til the fat red lady sings. When is AF due? Are you testing too early? Still got fingers crossed and the pom poms are being dusted as we speak .

FruitynNutty · 18/11/2008 20:42

Oh Sparkly try again with FMU in a day or two.

My friend Bellaharry is trying to find us. I suggested she join us. She's been ttc for 2 months. I told her how awful you buggers are but she still wants to join

Just had a very spicy prawn thai curry. I think I put too much curry paste in. The whole family's sweating

Mibbes Keep us updated won't you! All these early babies, I reckon it's to make up for the months and months of TTC. You can bet your life this little boy will be late though. Maybe it's a boy/girl thing. Girls on time, boys late? Ah well, as long as he's not too early then I don't care when he arrives

Georgie That's enough Mrs Pessimistic! Queasy is a good sign remember!

Kate I can only make out one temp?

BellaHarry When you finally find us, post a link to your chart if you have one x

teeheelaydee · 18/11/2008 21:12

Oh Sparkly what a let down, maybe too early but might stop you thinking about it for a couple of days.

Georgie Hope you're scary thoughts go away soon, try not to dwell too long on them if you can help it they are not useful- when is your first scan?

Mibbes Ooh er Missus. Any more developments yet?

Ei Are you being controlled and not testing or are you sitting staring at a BFP in utter shock - hope it's the latter. Shall we take bets on whether you can wait til Sunday?

Emmsy Good to see you, how long before Amy starts hoggingthe laptop too - especially if acne has started!

Scully 1st Dec - only a couple of weeks away - yey, although they will probably drag for you, they'll whizz by for us!

Sorry guys, know I haven't caught up with everyone but have to sleep as am still feeling poorly, although vomiting seems to have stopped, thank goodness and I am supposed to be online looking for a salt pig for DP for Christmas.

kate2179 · 18/11/2008 21:51

Sparkly gutted for you lovely. What is the least DPO you could be? Maybe worth a go with FMU?

Teehee sorry you're still feeling rotten but glad the vomming has stopped. What on earth is a salt pig?!?!?!? Not the sory of thing to be looking for if you're feeling queasy I wouldn't have thought!

Mibbes you haven't been back... does that mean you're contracting as we speak?

Georgie don't use the nasty B.O. words. Can't be long til your scan if it's at 6 weeks? This week or next week? Keeping everything crossed for you lovely girl. Pom poms? DEFINITELY! xx

Fruity FFS!!! Why is it only displaying one temp? There should only be 8, but not ONE?!?! Is it showing the wrong cycle? The right one should start on 24th Oct. I'll have another go...

any better?

HappyandEiknowit · 18/11/2008 22:49

hey ladies
so i tested and got another seriously faint ghost line so for the time being i am taking that with a pinch of salt and im goin to try and wait until friday at the earliest if AF doesnt arrive by then
sparkly sorry about the cbd bfn but they are the worst tests to use this early and you didnt use fmu so totally inaccurate i hope AF stays away for you and you get a nice bfp in a few days time
kate i think the chart you are linking to is an old one cos there is only one temp on there
mibbes ooo sounds like your baby is engaging getting ready to be born!! any twinges or braxton hicks yet??
hello everyone else
xx ei xx

SparklyPseudonym · 19/11/2008 08:55

Morning ladies,
Temp is still really high - 36.95 this morning. Have no idea when I ovulated - I have ovulated on CD16 since March (expect when I got BFP and ovulated on CD18). Either way, I've not had a cycle longer than 32 days in a year and today is cd33...It must be because of the m/c.
Ei Did you crack and test again this morning? DO IT, DO IT, DO IT!! [GRIN]
Kate Don't want to tests again this morning - DP went about and bought the new CBD and they were £15 for 2. Feel like I'm pissing money away.... Maybe I'll wait a week. our chart is only showing one temp. It might be because it's the only chart you've chosen to show. Try having a play about with the options.
Teehee Are you feeling any better today? A salt pig?!
HTGG Send us a pic of your pom poms .
Mibbes Any further developments? It's so exciting!!
