Evening ladies, hope you are all well?
Kate Yep, your temp goes up after ovulation has taken place and hopefully remains up until you get your bfp! I wouldn't worry too much what your friends think about your reasons for not attending the party, if their baby is due in 2 weeks, you may as well wait until the baby is born and send them a congrats card (&/or pressy) we sometimes have to take a step back and stop worrying about 'other' peoples thoughts and feelings, who cares, if they think your not going because of the 'incident' as long as you know why your not going, chill out lovely lady
p.s have posted my birth story in the birth announcements, was trying to hide it as didn't want to frighten any of the first time pregnant mumsmibbes your not alowed to look at it until your wee baby is born!
sparkly how did it go with your placement?
I can't believe you went to 4 parties, I took E to 2 the other Saturday and it nearly killed me, I have another this Saturday, she has a much better social life than I do I cant believe how well Ian is doing with his learning to read, he mastered all his letters so I started him on a load of key stage 1 words, he knows approx 30 words already thanks for the advice xx
Scully good timing with the summer hols coming up,really wish our summer was just approaching, the weather has been awlful today, very cold and windy, keep us updated on any symptoms, did you have any sickness with any of your other pregnancies? I know what you mean about wanting an earlier scan, it was really hard for me to come to terms that there was no baby, when I had a blighted ovum back in 2000, and even though I had another 2 m/c before Amy was conceived that were early ones, I really wanted an early scan to help me feel a little more confident with my pregnancy, piggin NHS wouldn't let me have my first until I was 10 wks +4 days! Its going to be wonderful to go through this pregnancy with you and 'see' you deliver a beautiful baby at the end of it XX
piper glad you had a 'drunken' hen night, hope all goes well for you both X
cricri hello 'Mummy' how proud does it make you feel! Are you getting that lovely warm feeling every time you look at Elise, its tuly amazing isn't it. I get it every time I look at Amy, I just love her to bits, every little expression on her tiny face makes my heart melt(I know you will be going through the same bonding process)enjoy it and cherish every bit of it, they really do grow so quickly, try to remember to take some photos over the next few months its so easy to forget when your busy feeding/changing etc...
mibbes nearly your turn hun! x
fruity only 2 more sleeps until scan! bet you can't wait, I can't believe how fast it's going, doesn't seem like 5 mins ago when you were on a real 'downer' over your PCOS and I was getting really worried that you would never get a bfp, can't wait for the whole group to have them (or babies of course!)
Amy has started to sleep a little longer now,she wakes up at 3-4 hour intervals, its had when they first come out of hospital and they are only taking about 40mls, you seem to be feeding all day long, I didn't have any help from my family when I came out of hospital, my Mother has only seen Amy 3 times since she was born and that was for a total of 3 hours and Amy was a month old last Friday, I hadn't even finished 'nesting' because I was doing a lot of running around and looking after 'other' family members children, up until the day before Amy was born, this has really opened my eyes, they don't give anything if they're not getting anything back in return, hate to say this, but I feel quite bitter towards the lot of them, not really good for you is it!
Ei your dreams are so good for the morale of this group, just need to see if you can dream up enough ++ for all the girls who want one
big wave to HTGG and THLD hope you are both ok x
mollie had a phone call from my office last week, they told me that they can not let me know if my request for additional leave will be be granted he said that it will depend on the business needs at the time and that they will re-submit my request either in Jan or Feb, I'm supposed to go back in June but have asked for an extra 52 weeks unpaid leave as per advice from personnel because of Amy's birth, its horrible not knowing if I have to go back then, really dont want to leave Amy with a childminder when shes so young (unless its Fruity of course! and Ian doesn't start school until Sep 09, and we will have the summer hols to worry about with other children, I will just have to wait and see what they say, Mum was supposed to be looking after Amy but with everything that's happened in our family lately thats just out of the question, hope your ok hun xx
